VILLANTEZ is a display that is basically a serif font that has been modified in such a way that there are breaks or distances at the body meeting of each letter, almost like in stencil letters. Creating a more attractive and different impression from other display serifs, this font can also be categorized in a more modern Victorian style by carrying a slight stencil modification. This font is also an all caps font with different letter and character heights in the uppercase and lowercase. Kuroneko in Japanese means ‘ Black Cat’. I was working on a Japan itinerary for a friend and I told him about the luggage forwarding service by a company with a black cat in its logo. Wait: Black Cat? What’s that in Japanese? Cool name for a font! Kuroneko font will not forward your luggage, nor was it made in Japan. But it IS a very versatile font family - even if you’re more of a dog person.

The original Headhunter shareware font was created in ©1992 by the famous D. Rakowski. It consisted of 63 unique skeletal Glyphs, including Capital A-Z, and a few bone symbols, but lacked lowercase and numerals. He has since abandoned his fonts to pursue other things. (You can download it from FontSquirrel for free.) I've always enjoyed this limited Halloween font, but its incompleteness had to be rectified; thus I took it upon myself to delve slightly into the world of typography, resulting in the birth of HeadhunterTwo. I've slightly reworked his original contribution and "fleshed out" more of the font than necessary. As of this writing, it consists of 777+ Glyphs and passes Underware's compatibility test for Latin Plus (Supporting 219 Latin based languages, which are spoken in 212 countries.)

Borrowdale is a valley and civil parish in the English Lake District. In the 16th century a major deposit of graphite was discovered near Seathwaite, which kickstarted the pencil industry. Borrowdale font was made with one of my son's coloring pencils (which probably does not contain a single molecule of graphite). It is a very legible and easy-on-the-eye font, ideal for children's books, texts and product packaging. Comes with a mother lode of diacritics.

Neuropa is a five-weight extended sans that projects a muscular corporate authority. The bowls of the rounded characters use an ‘obround’ form, and the apexes of the A and V and the uprights on the D and E are curved to suggest a sleek modernity.

PF Stamps covers a wide range of applications which require the stamp effect. This is a form of lettering which was very popular in the mid-twentieth century for product labeling. Special machinery was developed by mainly two companies, one in the United States and the other in Germany. This machinery produced paper die cuts which were later used as a base for the marking with a paintbrush. PF Stamps Paint was developed to simulate this type of lettering. Two other styles, Metal and Flex, have been very popular since its original release. The first one was developed from a metallic stamp imprint, whereas the second one with its slight 3-D look simulates letters stamped on plastic. To insure realistic results, uppercase letters are different from lowercase. This is very useful when two similar letters sit next to each other. There 3 more styles: Solid (the stencil in its regular clean form), Rough and the very interesting Blur. Ornaments family with four different sets plus a decorative capitals font from the rare, valuable and amazing Allerlei Zierat book from Schelter & Gieseck (1902). A research and free interpretation by Intellecta Design. This encyclopedic specimen book of the Leipzig, Germany type foundry and printing supply house J.G. Schelter & Giesecke features, as the title indicates, all kinds of decoration for supplying printing of every type. On the title page, the firm boasts winning grand prize in 1900 in Paris (presumably at the Exposition Universelle). It is hard to do justice in a short description to the variety of styles (traditional, Jugenstil, etc.) and categories (certificates, letterheads, borders, ornaments, exotic motifs, flowers, animals, silhouettes, menus, greeting cards, vignettes humorous and otherwise, images of bicyclists, occupational symbols, portraits, Classical figures, religious art, heraldry, ships, trains, athletes, etc., etc.) offered in this volume. Some of the examples are printed in color, most are in black-and-white. The Jugenstil cover of this copy shows minor wear and soiling. The plate of “Gust. Carlsson & Co., Stockholm” is attached to the front pastedown. A small fraction of pages show minor soiling, a pencil notation or a short closed tear. Two of the fold-outs at the back have a little more damage-one is missing a 1x2 inch piece along the margin, the other has a 3-inch closed tear and an edge which is crumpled. Haarlem, designed by Leslie Cabarga, was inspired by the sort of marks you get when you write with a flat-headed magic harger. There are two fonts in the Haarlem family, White and Black. Haarlem White is an outlined, shadowed version of Haarlem Black.

The typeface LECO 1988 is another font family which belongs to LECO set. It is a display typeface, which is inspired by the title written on the bottle of lečo from 1988. Its typical features are embedded diacritics and significant black look with low contrast. Lower case is united with upper case and has several identical glyphs in both forms. Font contains alternative set of glyphs for letter „E“. Tabular numerals, superiors and inferiors and the full set of (glyphs - symbols) for languages using the Latin alphabet are also included in this font. LECO 1988 font family includes six specific styles: Regular, Blind, Gradient, Outline, Shadow and Stencil style. Those styles extend typographic options by mutual combination or overlapping, whilst every style share the identical metrics and kerning. Font format is Open Type with the support of several open type features. This typeface is suitable for creating logotypes, powerful posters or can be used as a headline display typeface.

The Country Blues it's a cool fancy font family inspired by the good old vinyl records / movie covers, bowling and golf aesthetics and good old Rock'n'Roll melodies such as "Runaround Sue" was. The sans comes in five widths from light to black. Each letter has a stylistic alternate to get your typography more individuality. Especially it looks good with all caps and bouncing baseline. But it still good with normal block texts with straight line. The script has also stylistic alternates for each capitals and some lowercase features as awesome underlined 'g'/ 'j' / 'y' or special 't' with long stroke. All these fonts come as Clear or Raw (roughen) style if you want to add some "Horror" mood. As a dessert you'll get the graphic font with a lot of vintage sign shapes. 78 graphic elements total. It is not only coarse but extremly black, and it is quite right to name it Black Letter in English. Ernst Schneidler, the designer, created the smallest possible counters. Still, this very coarse black letter is sensitive in detail and drawn with a high level of aesthetics. By the way, it was said in Schneidler's design class in Stuttgart that his number one student Walter Brudi had cut some of the characters with �silhoutte scissors� from black paper. Sharing his ideas and work with his students does not at all decrease or lower his copyright.Ganz Grobe Gotisch is not only a distinguised but also a very catchy design.(Albert Kapr in Fraktur -- �Form und Geschichte der gebrochenen Schrift�.)

Kaantaa is a bold typeface that draws inspiration from stencil and technical typfaces. It has been thought as a display typeface. You can use it to create posters, greeting cards, scrapbooks, CD labels, T-shirts, coffee mugs, digital videos websites and banners.

Flabioga may look like your every day stencil font - but it's not. It contains two sets of letters, one for uppercase and one for lowercase + ligatures for double letters and numbers! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the autoligatures.

Science Fair JNL emulates the effect of connecting the broken lines of a stencil alphabet into a solid letter form, such as many students did for posters on their science project. In this case, the base font was Jeff Levine's Paramilitary JNL.

The family comes in five weights from Thin to Black, all with true italics; and a variable file in weight and slant. Sunbird is a happy, rounded, cartoonish font family. It comes in three weights: regular, medium and black - each with its very own Italic style. Sunbird is quite versatile: it looks good as a display font, but setting a (short) text in it could work as well. Its versatility makes Sunbird an ideal font for product packaging and posters.

I often experiment with different shadow techniques. One day I accidentally scaled, instead of repositioning, some black text behind the white copy on top and noticed something very different and interesting happen. It was an intriguing effect. It took some clever handiwork to make it work properly across the entire alphabet. And behold, Eclipse was born.

MyCard is a display sans serif font of modernist spirit, where uppercase letters take the height of the lowercase letters (unicase), where only ascending and descending exceed the x-height. MyCard is ideal for creating logos, packaging, labels, advertising and short titles, in texts produced interesting textures. MyCard comes in three weights Regular, Bold and Black.

This slab serif is a general purpose type in six weights. The lighter weights are useful for short passages of text. The heavier weights are a versatile tool for setting headlines. One waxy black crayon was used up, entirely down to the tiniest nub, by the making of this font. It’s fun! Perfect for creating crayon written text, or to get the look of chalk-board writing, conte, or charcoal. Okay Crayon is extended, containing West European diacritics & ligatures, making it also suitable for multilingual environments & publications.

The Scriptorium got its start in the early days of personal computers with a few font designs for the Commodore 64, and the very first font which we did back then in the early 1980s was a gothic calligraphy font. That style of fonts - the medieval, gothic and black letter genre - has always been the backbone of our collection, but with recent releases we've stayed away from them to introduce a bit more variety. Well, with our new Zauberer font the antique, medieval and gothic look is back with a vengeance. Zauberer isn't a true medieval calligraphy style. It's based on early printed type from Germany which combines calligraphic elements with decorative embellishments from the woodcut printing era. The result is decorative and antique looking and rather appealing. The name comes from the German word for a magician or illusionist.

Font designed after that used in Brehan-Loudeac (Britanny, France) by Robin Fouquet and Jean Crès in years 1480s to print a lot of texts and books. This font include “long s”, naturally, as typically medieval, and a few special characters and abreviations, also some variants, like for “d”, “r” or “v”. The small “y” is accented, just like in British alphabet of the time, though the texts were printed in French. Added, a lot of accented characters no longer existing on this time. A render sheet, in the font file, makes it more easy to identify on a keyboard. This font is used as variously as web-site titles, posters and flier designs, editing ancient texts... all you need. This font supports easily as large than small size, remaining readable, original and pretty.
