Nobody Home JNL is unusual in nature as it combines two vintage typestyles into one font. Both have been used for home and property identification for decades and still remain popular. Over the years the letters and numbers have been made of cast steel, aluminum, brass and plastic. The alphabet is in a distinctly bold, asymmetrical style, while the numbers almost take on a calligraphic feel. There is just a basic character set - alphabet, numerals and simple punctuation. While the font has been reasonably spaced and kerned, it's best to remember that neither type design was made with digital technology in mind, so it's suggested to adjust your layout manually for optimum results. Aptifer Sans and Aptifer Slab are two 21st century typeface families created by Mårten Thavenius. Each family has seven weights, in roman and italic respectively, making 28 font styles in total. A heritage from two design traditions can be seen in Aptifer. One is the robust American gothic typefaces, like M. F. Benton’s, from around 1900. This is combined with the openness and legibility that comes from the humanist tradition. The sans serif part of the family, Aptifer Sans, is designed without excessive details disturbing the reading. Its sibling, Aptifer Slab, with its wedge slab serifs is more eye-catching but still suited for text settings. The italics fit well into the text flow of the roman. They are a bit narrower than the roman and have cursive characteristics. Both Aptifer Sans and Aptifer Slab are highly legible typefaces and can be used both in print and on screen.

Aspen is a refreshing and resilient typeface for text of any kind. Functional but not faceless, Aspen derives a very distinctive character from an unusual pedigree. It is loosely influenced by early American and European grotesques, but with more warmth and improved legibility. And where these historical models were rigid and bulky, Aspen’s curves have a gentle sway that makes for very comfortable reading. Relatively generous ascenders and descenders allow the typeface to feel spacious even when set with tight leading. These amiable qualities are matched with a lively italic based on cursive writing. Ellida is a very elaborate and elegant script in the tradition of the 18th-century English calligrapher George Bickham and the 19th-century American calligrapher Platt Rogers Spencer. I really enjoyed designing this script and maybe one day I will add starting and ending letters. Doing this script was extremely time- and brain-consuming, it is a huge challenge to make calligraphic letters work on computers so that they join perfectly. That's also the reason that this has become my most expensive font so far, but I think the price is fair for the incredible amount of work I put into the script. The original inspiration for Blue Parrot came from a short scene in the classic film Casablanca. For just a few seconds, the exterior of Ferrari's Blue Parrot night club is shown, complete with a wonderful hand-lettered sign... all in capital letters. Blue Parrot JNL was originally released in 2006, and it wasn't long before a few people noted that the font would also look good with a lower case alphabet. The idea of adding in lower case kicked around for a couple of years until Jeff Levine finally completed a revision of the font. In this version there's also an expanded character set thanks to the creative input of Michael Hagemann of Font Mesa.

SK Cuber™ is an expanded monumental pseudo-pixel typeface. It is based on a strict grid that is not broken in any glyph. This makes the type more organic and consistent. The type's characters are monospaced, but they do not look ridiculous and do not cause discomfort as it usually happens. This could only be achieved by carefully working out each glyph. The type also deliberately uses the contrast between geometric strokes and smooth transitions. It adds to his liveliness and character. This is not an historically accurate font but rather one intended capture the spirit of ancient Roman manual type. It was inspired by various patterns used in documents and books created by Latin scribes between the second and fourth centuries. They used either calamus and ink on papyrus, or a pointed metal stick on wax tablets. We have created the font for contemporary use; distinguishing between U and V, I and J, which had no meaning for ancient Latin scribes, and adding thorn, Oslash, Lslash, W, Y and common accented characters that did not exist at the time. A lot of titlings and contextual alternates complete the set. Available only in TTF and OTF format.

The productivity of the Berlingska Stilgjuteriet was made possible by the development of modern typeface art in Sweden in the 1950s. The typeface Berling was designed by Karl-Erik Forsberg for the Berlingska Stilgjuteriet in Lund. It belongs to the modern text typefaces and like most of these markedly shows the influece of the Neorenaissance. Berling Antiqua appeared in 1951 with a matching italic and by 1959, it was expanded to include five weights. Linotype offers Berling in four of them, roman and bold with their respective italics. In 2004 the Swedish publisher Verbum commissioned a complete redesign of Berling for the 21st century. Linotype assisted the designers of this new typeface, which came to be called Berling Nova.

Market Street Neon is an all-caps condensed display font constructed with two rounded-end strokes; the lowercase set is included as a repeat of the uppercase to make setting type just that little bit easier. Linotype Schwennel is part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This prize-winning font was designed by the German artist Svenja Voss. The figures seem to have been somehow eroded, parts of some strokes are completely missing, contours seem washed away. The eye works to put the pieces together to form a meaningful series of figures. The second weight, lila+negro, completes the letter fragments of the lila weight. Missing pieces are filled in and contours completed, making the resulting text stronger and a bit more legible. Linotype Schnwennel is intended exclusively for headlines in larger point sizes.

The Yearling fonts are inspired by old propaganda poster letter forms of the 20th century. However, they're also intended to work well in modern communications as well. American Uncial™ was designed by Victor Hammer in 1943. Uncial typefaces consist of letter forms of the Capitalis Monumentalis and the majescule cursive. The origins of Uncial faces date back to the 5th century. In 1953, American Uncial was expanded to include some new figures, also designed by Hammer, and was rereleased by Klingspor with the name Neue Hammer Unziale. The forms are based on old scripts in books of antiquity and the early Middle Ages and the font is a new variation of a classic. Neue Hammer Unziale font has been a favorite for certificates and diplomas and is recommended for headlines and shorter texts in a point size of 12 or larger.

Lianhua is a handwritten font with a soft touch, given by a Chinese ink brush. There are lots of Chinese western fonts having a strong, sharp visual feeling, like the strokes of Chinese characters, so I decide to do the opposite: soft. Because except for Yang, there is also Yin in Chinese culture. The name 'Lianhua' means lotus in Chinese. This font is flexible and widely-used, it's suited for book titles, posters, brochures, flyers, even for menus of a Chinese restaurant. The total glyphs in this font is 351, including basic Latin letters and symbols, Latin-Expand A, 10 ligatures and 2 alternate letters, which are the letter g and letter y.

Ekeras is an original design by Alex Kaczun. It is a display font not intended for text use. It was designed specifically for display headlines, logotype, branding and similar applications. Bolívar is a contemporary display typeface inspired in the handwriting of one of the most prominent personalities of the Latin American 19th century: Simón Bolívar, “the liberator". The typeface intends to capture the passion of handwritten letterforms and to translate it into type. Among the characteristics that best contribute to its strong personality, are the impressive length of ascenders and descenders as well as the more than 45 degrees of slant.
