Messenger is a redux of two mid-1970s Markus Low designs: Markus Roman, an upright calligraphic face, and Ingrid, a popular typositor-era script. ITC Élan combines a gothic simplicity with elegance in a distinctive yet subtle typeface design. The Scriptorium got its start in the early days of personal computers with a few font designs for the Commodore 64, and the very first font which we did back then in the early 1980s was a gothic calligraphy font. Waite Park JNL is based on the smallest of the die-cut letters and numbers contained in the Webway Sign Cabinet - once manufactured by the Holes-Webway Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The largest of the set's sizes (2 inch) was the model for Sign Kit JNL, the medium size (1-1/8 inch) was used to make Sign Production JNL and this font is a version from the 3/4 inch size. Each size of alphabet and numerals have their own unique characteristics, although they all follow the same basic font style, which is reminiscent of classic Art Deco-era sanserif typefaces. The name Waite Park JNL was derived from a division of Holes-Webway that (for some reason lost to time) distributed their sign kits under the name Waite Park Sign Company, located in the Minnesota city of the same name.

Lepontic is an ancient Alpine Celtic language that was spoken in parts of Rhaetia and Cisalpine Gaul (now Northern Italy) between 550 and 100 BC. Lepontic is attested in inscriptions found in an area centered on Lugano, Switzerland, and including the Lake Como and Lake Maggiore areas of Italy. While some recent scholarship (e.g. Eska 1998) has tended to consider Lepontic simply as an early outlying form of Gaulish and closely akin to other, later attestations of Gaulish in Italy (Cisalpine Gaulish), some scholars (notably Lejeune 1971) continue to view it as a distinct Continental Celtic language. In this latter view, the earlier inscriptions found within a 50 km radius of Lugano are considered Lepontic, while the later ones, to the immediate south of this area, are considered Cisalpine Gaulish. Lepontic was assimilated first by Gaulish, with the settlement of Gallic tribes north of the River Po, and then by Latin, after the Roman Republic gained control over Gallia Cisalpina during the late 2nd and 1st century BC

Wolverhampton is a new Neo-Victorian face from Greater Albion Typefounders. It's something of an example of starting with a small idea and running with it. This family of three typefaces (Regular, Small Capitals and Capitals) was inspired by a line of lettering seen on a late 19th Century enamel advertisement made by Chromo of Wolverhampton (hence the family name). The family grew, topsy-like, from a recreation of these initial fifteen capital letterforms to the three complete typefaces offered here. The three typefaces are ideal for advertising and poster work with a Victorian, Edwardian, or 'Steam-punk' theme. Le Havre is a geometric sans serif inspired by the golden era of the passenger ship, when getting to your destination was a delight in and of itself. Compressed capitals, a low x-height and geometric construction give this art deco inspired sans a unique look that looks to the past for inspiration, but is a new contemporary design usable in a wide range of graphic settings. Le Havre features eighteen art deco titling alternates, ligatures and old style figures. Le Havre is named for the port where many a famous luxury cruise liner was launched in the 1930s. One of the best examples of art deco luxury cruise liner advertising can seen in the famous poster advertising the SS Normandie by the French designer Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. In 2009 the Le Havre series was updated with a new thin weight and Le Havre Rounded.

In the pre-computer, pre self-adhesive label era of office supplies a number of companies (including Dennison, Maco and Denny-Reyburn) manufactured a wide variety of gummed labels for just about any use or purpose. Blank labels, specialty labels and decorative holiday seals were just a part of this line. One popular style was that of labels with parallel thick-and-thin borders of red lines and corners chamfered, rounded or straight cut. Occasionally, one could find similar labels with blue, green or gold borders but red was the mainstay, hence naming this typeface Red Border Labels JNL. Presented in this font is a collection of twenty-six standard and specialty shape label borders on the capital (A-Z keys) and twenty-six solid panel versions on the lower case (a-z) keys which can be used as backfills for the borders or as stand-alone labels.
