Minou is a French cat’s name. There are more: you could name your cat Léo, Fripouille, Orion, Orphée or Tigrou, but I kind of like Minou. Right on the heels of the tremendous popularity wave that made Hollandse Mediaeval the most used Dutch typeface during the Great War years, Sjoerd H. de Roos was asked to design a 15 point type for De Zilverdistel, Jean François van Royen’s publishing company. So between 1914 and 1916, de Roos and van Royen collaborated on the typeface eventually known as Zilvertype, and which both parties viewed as an improved version of Hollandse Mediaeveal. Like Hollandse Mediaeval, Zilvertype was based on the Jenson model, but it is simpler, with more traditional metrics, lighter and more classic in color. This Pro digital version of Zilvertype comes expanded in all directions. It contains a roman, a bold and an italic. Each font contains over 685 glyphs, including small caps, eight different sets of figures, plenty of ligatures, some Dutch ornaments, and extended language support covering most Latin languages. Zilvertype Initials is also there to round out this distinctively Dutch text family and make it ideal for immersive text design.

Suburban Collier is a dreamy, humanist demi-serif sister of Romford Stencil typeface. It was created during the COVID-19 pandemic and its name is inspired by Collier Row, a suburban area of Romford, East London (UK). Suburban Collier features subtle ligatures, an alternative ‘a’ and supports Western, Central, Southern, and Eastern European as well as Pinyin. Use it to add character to your body copy or as fancy display text.

Kuunari Rounded is the rounded version of Kuunari. it is a structured square sans type family of 42 fonts. It has three widths and seven weights in both upright and italic versions. The base form is a round-cornered rectangle, and this form constructs the glyphs throughout the fonts. Kuunari Rounded is a straightforward sans serif. It doesn't make any fuss about itself; it just does the job proudly and confidently.

Inspired by the hand lettered title on the cover of a mid-1950s comic book [based on the beloved children’s TV host Captain Kangaroo], Treasure House JNL is a casual, playful serif font available in both regular and oblique versions. From 1955 through 1984, the late Bob Keeshan brought the gentle Captain into the living rooms of eager youngsters who were both taught and entertained each weekday morning.

Newslab is a slab serif font – designed by Daniel Hernández – which is the result of the combination of three different typefaces: Andes, Sánchez and Roble. I am here to deliver! I used a semi dry brush for this font, and when views at large sizes you can really enjoy the brush traces. The font keeps the authentic feeling of something hastily written with a brush. Along with he very tight spacing and kerning, it does it job! Quite good for headlines that needs that extra punk, or T-shirts design, posters, Instagram photos or interactive designs!

Based on a fifteenth century Textura Blackletter typeface, Octoberfest has a companion with Lombardic style capitals, Octoberfest Alternate. Both Octoberfest and Octoberfest Alternate use the OpenType ligature feature to automatically substitute a subtly unique pair of distressed characters when any lower case character is keyed twice in a row. The Pro versions of Octoberfest and Octoberfest Alternate extend the character set to support Eastern European and Baltic languages.

Astromonkey - here he is, all new, all excited to be alive! Astromonkey comes from outer space, where he has rubbed shoulders with the Star Trekkers, the aliens and Major Tom, who is still floating in his tin can. The font is a squarish all caps, with a different set of glyphs for upper and lower case (so they mingle quite well) and Astromonkey himself - disguised as the paragraph glyph. Enjoy.

Carilliantine updates the organic curves of Art Nouveau typefaces typified by John F. Cumming's Desdemona, designed around 1886. A contemporary monoline sans reinterpretation rather than a more traditional serif, its high-waisted emphasis lends it an elegance and class. Carilliantine is replete with hundreds of two- and three-letter ligatures that bring a customised uniqueness to any headline. These are on by default, and can be toggled on or off in the Opentype palette of Adobe apps, or chosen individually according to taste from the Glyphs menu. "Portiere" is a natural handwritten font, we created this font using a marker pen, the natural emphasis of the pen makes the round size random. We write one by one on the paper and then we select each glyph to be the font. This is how we get a natural impression. To sharpen the natural impression we made several ligatures because in natural writing you will not find the same composition. Activate the ligature and feel a natural writing sensation. This font is very suitable for writing quotes and short sentences. Even more so for text animations such as on YouTube and other social media. Its unique shape also allows it to be used for logos.

Stettinum Nicodemus Pro is a project to revitalize lettering from tenement houses in Szczecin. The project includes the digitization of letter remains from ul. Kaszubska in Szczecin to form functional fonts. The main idea of the project was to preserve the disappearing remnants of Szczecin's typographic past, which, despite the span of glyphs limited by time, can be an inspiration for many future extensions of the already established family. Stettinum Nicodemus Pro Sansum is a family of typefaces consisting of 7 variations. The block structure with a regular structure and a relatively high minuscule allows for many different applications. Versions 700, 800 and 900 are intended for titles, headings and emphasis, typefaces 300 to 600 are text typefaces.

Discórdia is a type-family of contrasting contrasts. Each of the four members of the family has a different contrast type. Regular has broad-nib contrast, Bold has horizontal contrast, the Italic is monoline, which means it has no apparent contrast, and Bold Italic is... Well, it’s probably best if see for yourself. These different design structures were fine-tuned to work well together in the same line, creating emphasis and hierarchy through a mini-super-family that groups a wedge-serif Regular, a slab-serif Bold, a sans-serif-ish Italic and a twisted Bold Italic. Linotype Sansara, from Swiss designer Grégoire Poget, is part of the TakeType Library, chosen from the entries of the Linotype-sponsored International Digital Type Design Contest 1999 for inclusion on the TakeType 3 CD. This fun font is a type experiment behind whose oriental facade hide Arabic letters, recognizable only at second glance. This font displays generous, pointed ascenders and descenders as well as a bar-like emphasis on the upper third of the figures which connects lines and words and gives them a decorative look. Linotype Sansara reveals an astounding variety of details which bring to mind 1001 Arabian Nights, flowing gowns and snake charmers. This font is best for display in point sizes of 14 or larger.

Luba is a multi-script text family designed by Hendrik Moeller. The family includes four weights: Light, Regular, Medium, and Bold. Each of these fonts may be purchased with both Latin and Cyrillic script coverage, or with support for just the Latin script. Moeller initially developed Luba to assist speakers of languages using the Latin script who are just embarking upon learning a language that uses the Cyrillic script, i.e., French, Germans, or Italians who are learning Russian or Ukrainian. Luba's letters place significant emphasis on their identifying elements; clear forms and a relaxed style help familiarize the reader with the foreign glyphs. The typeface makes clear distinctions between Latin and Cyrillic letters, without covering up their shared heritage.

Basilio Calafati (1800–1878) worked as a magician under the name of Salamucci in the Wiener Prater. Later he obtained the license for a roundabout and other amusement facilities in the Wiener Prater. Calafati typeface family is characterised by little contrast and strong emphasis on the horizontals. It is a robust font that has many applications. Its character shapes are simple and relatively unembellished. With regard to metrics and proportions it combines perfectly with the Wien Pro and the Liebelei Pro. Calafati is available in weights light, regular, medium, bold and black. In 2022, Calafati received a major update. The recent family, Calafati Soft, is an 100% offspring of sharp-edged Original Calafati.

At first glance, there is something familiar about this font, but one may not be sure... “Where have I seen this font before?” Known for his diverse portfolio of script style display fonts, typographic designer and lettering artist Rob Leuschke has taken a step back in time with Alumni™. A true departure from present trends, this font resurrects the clean and simple forms made popular in the 1950s. Originally inspired by the black face Impact™, it soon evolved to include numerous weights from the Black flavor of its progenitor to a super thin Pinstripe. The extreme weights (Pinstripe, Hairline and Black) are designed for display situations while the remaining weights may be used for more traditional textual design applications. The Inline and Collegiate flavors offer added display options. Alumni™ is available in Roman and Italic versions of each weight. Extensive kerning and OpenType programming have been applied to give it optimal functionality.

Michael Hoffmann manufactures digital fonts for 30 years. At URW++ he contributed to the technological progress. Over the years, he also specialized in the ideal representation of fonts on screen and the complex assembly of international fonts with scripts of all countries. In his latest project he put the emphasis on developing a highly readable typeface. Less interested in the design as in the functionality of this typeface, he designed Arsapia which he has now installed as a system font on all his computers. Michael Hoffmann studied Japanology at the University of Hamburg and traveled in the early years of his professional activity frequently to Japan, there to train the IKARUS font production tools to Japanese customers. In his spare time he plays guitar or golf depending on the weather. The typeface Arsapia has been designed in such a way that all three font styles Light, Regular and Bold have the same width. When a user therefore opts for the use of Arsapia Light, even though he has already written his text in Regular, nothing changes with respect to the letter tracking. When choosing the Bold for emphasis: Nothing changes except the blackness of the letters. A font change does not engender unwanted line and page breaks of itself. All letters can be clearly distinguished from each other. 1 l I O 0 are all different. For programmers and lovers of monospaced fonts Michael Hoffmann has developed a fourth typeface: Arsapia Mono. This is the perfect terminal font.

Based on the lettering and graphic design of the Beat Generation era, Daddy-O was produced in conjunction with the Whitney Museum of American Art to coincide with the exhibition Beat Culture and the New America: 1950-1965. These way gone fonts and extras both capture and affectionately satirize the graphic design of the era. Package now features poet Rod McKuen in an updated version of the Beatsville album cover from 1959.
