Steelplate Gothic Pro is a sans serif font family with traditional and drop shadow weights. It shares letterform similarities to conventional Copperplate Gothic families, but has no spur serif endings. Most of the original designs came from the Western Type Foundry when BB&S acquired it in 1918; all were cut by Robert Wiebking. It was recast in 1954 by American Type Founders (ATF). Steve Jackaman (ITF) designed and produced a digital version of the original single weight in 1997. In 2017, Jackaman completely redrew and expanded the family, adding entirely new condensed variants and true small caps. Steelplate Gothic Pro has a masculine, industrial feel, and works effortlessly at display and subhead sizes. It shares letterforms with its sans serif sister family, Barnsley Gothic.

Nono is the nickname of my oldest son, Konstantin. His little brother could not really speak yet, but he was always looking for him and said something to the tune of, "wea is a nono". From that time on I call Konstantin Nono. I designed a handwritten script with his real name, that i named Konstantin. Now I made this slick version of that script – hence – Nono! I made three basic sets of characters plus a smallcaps version. To top things off, I designed a set of endletters that I throw in for free. Everything can be mixed! ITC Vino Bianco was created by German designer Jochen Schuss. He drew his inspiration from the handwriting of the waiter in his favorite local pub, especially the form of the capital Q. Based on this one character Schuss developed the entire alphabet. The figures are sketchy and generous and look as though they were written on paper with a ball point pen. Vino Bianco is an alphabet of capital letters, each of which also has an alternative form, making it very flexible and true to the tendency of true handwriting. In spite of its fine strokes, the overall look is open and light due to the large amount of space each character occupies. The cheerful, carefree ITC Vino Bianco is best used for headlines and short texts.

SIAS opens a new chapter in Irish vernacular typography: the Andron-2-Irish font family. The genes of the insular typographic heritage have been blended with the timeless classical style of the versatile Andron series. Whereas most Irish-style fonts available more or less stick to ancient designs, Andron-2-EIR is different: it’s an entirely new design in which Irishness meets the beauty of a matured Venetian Roman text face. Envision a new horizon for setting Irish text in its own visual mode! Now you can utilize Italics, Semibold and Small capitals for Irish just as you have been doing in other languages for a long time. But the icing on the cake is the fifth font: Andron Irish Middlecase honours the rich medieval tradition of Ireland by a special uncial-style glyph set. It corresponds to the Andron MC series. Don Sans is a sturdy display sans which evokes the invironment of old-day industrialism, steamers, locomotives and other machinery; dusty back-yard workshops and the glamorous air of backstage life. It has been inspired by various letterings crafted by former graphic workmen who would have had an idea of simple letter construction but did not really wanted to bother with detail sophistication. Hence the result is somewhat quaint and imperfect … if that is something you are willing to enjoy. The unique charme of this typeface lies in its lack of perfection. Tolyer font is an extra large super family of 50 fonts! In many cases quantity doesn’t mean quality but here we have such a big abundance of contrast, styles, weights and special effects in one place that it actually doesn’t pay attention to the fact this is an all caps family. When it comes to strong headlines, titles, posters, masculine brand names Tolyer type family is probably one of the best choices in sans serif typography. You could easily pick from low to high contrast outlines, uprights and obliques, 3D effects or different artistic textured styles to make your work diverse, expressive and attractive. Tolyer font offers you maximum readability even in poor display conditions like low quality printing or low resolution monitors. In some cases poor print quality could even add more value to the final result, because Tolyer has a lot of potential to be used in difficult conditions. Letterpress and high embossing are one of those print effects that really suit Tolyer best. Use it in high contrast with background environment, higher ink flow, don’t think about the dot gain and you should definitely use a textured paper – this is what Tolyer really likes and deserves. It will thank you for this with authentic look, classic vintage style and strong but attractive presence.

Tazugane Info is a screen-ready Japanese font family, that follows on the debut of Monotype's first original Japanese typeface – Tazugane Gothic. It offers a more restrained personality, with calligraphic design details pared back to create a geometric letterform – a good alternative for designers looking for a matter-of-fact alternative to the warmer Tazugane Gothic tone of voice. Tazugane Info was updated to support the “Reiwa” new era symbol. Reiwa can be written as two kanji: 令和. OkayCursive began over coffee, in a local flower shop, where my wife takes a floral arrangement class. I discovered a book there, with old photographs from Paris of flower shop displays. What caught my eye in the background of one of these photos, was the hand-painted lettering on a sign. Inspired, I quickly sketched some of the letters on a napkin and stuck it in my pocket. I began to sketch more over the next few days, looking to construct a full-out cursive font with this distinct French look. I wanted my design to be creative & free flowing, but I also wanted it to be at least somewhat proper. So, I consulted some schoolbooks for reference on the correct cursive forms. After more drawing, I began to create the final vector art. Gradually, these ideas -- plus many hours of careful kerning and metrics -- came together to form OkayCursive. Use OkayCursive any time you want fancy, legible, and luxurious text. Works great if you are designing a logo, or use it to create some beautiful titling. Use it for advertisement copy, or even for short to medium-length bodies of text -- go ahead and have fun with it. Noyh is a modern geometric font family that is based on research of similar typefaces of the 1990s and 2000s. Based on that research, font designer Chatnarong Jingsuphatada created a design whose main purpose is to perform equally well in as many environments as possible. Noyh offers a geometric structure with smooth corners, giving it great legibility and making it clean and friendly. As a result, Noyh works well both in print and on screen; it can be used freely for e-books and mobile applications and is perfect for headlines, banners, posters, web-sites, magazines, etc. Perhaps the greatest advantage of Noyh is the stunning number of fonts it includes. Berenjena is a captivating font family designed by type designer Javier Quintana Godoy in Santiago de Chile. Berenjena has the right combination of comfort in reading and a lyric spirit. Kuschelfraktur is a unique, eye-catching take on the theme of blackletter that replaces the broad nib with a brush pen and achieves stroke modulation through stencil-like gaps. It combines the texture and dignity of blackletter with the human warmth of informal handwriting. Kuschelfraktur offers five separate sets of capital letters and several additional customization option via stylistic alternates. Millie is a stressed, geometric script who spends her days as industrial lettering and her nights paired with blackletter on the patches of motorcycle gangs. Millie was weighted by the conventions of broad nib calligraphy, inspired by the Milwaukee Tools logo, and finds herself best used in logos and titles. She was designed to be used on about a 20 degree angle, though she looks just fine on a level plane. By using opentype, many ligatures, and two sets of stylistic alternates, Millie was developed to look great with any string of letters. Access the first stylistic set for a disconnected script look, and the second set for even more connections and fluid script than standard. Millie Round takes the edge off a bit, giving the entire set a more approachable and versatile feel.

While writing his Middle Earth books, JRR Tolkein invented an entire alphabet for the elves called Tengwar. His attention to detail was incredible, Tengwar is a fully functioning writing system. This is the famous Elvish writing seen all through Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit. Tengwar is an alphabet, not a language, and can be used to write many languages. Tolkein gave detailed notes on how to write English in the Tengwar alphabet. Hello! Inspiration for this beautiful script font I found in “A Source of Solace in Illness” (Trost Bronn der Kranchhen) book, published in the middle of 17th century. There was an entire on the back of the top cover: Joannes Auanger Parochus Sinchingae 1808”. That's why I named my font family Parochus. In the Catholic Church, a parish is a community of the faithful within a particular church, whose pastoral care has been entrusted to a parish priest (Latin: parochus).
