Alghera Pro is a casual script font family.  It was digitally engineered in 1996 by Pat Hickson of P+P Hickson and Steve Jackaman of International TypeFounders, Inc. (ITF).  Jackaman revamped the family in 2017 and added wider language support to include Western, Central, and Eastern European languages. Alghera Pro has a hand-written, antique feel, and was inspired by an old label on a bottle of Portuguese wine.  As with all the Red Rooster “Pro” versions, the family contains a 40% larger glyph set and improved designs.

Opticart is a family of glyphs inspired by Op Art (Optical Art). They include 133 models -- each letter is a subfamily that can combine overlapping (A, a, a.salt and A.swsh) and thus generate more than 365 glyphs, or thousands if we combine different letters or symbols. Opticart is so easy to use, user does not need guidance, just repeat typing [aaaa, bbbb, etc.] or do overlap them and repeat [(a + A) (a + A) (a + A), etc.] You may overlay and combine shapes with colors as you please.

The design of Kette evolved from searching new ways to make cool and semi-formal type. Study of aspects of legibility was part of the process when designing Kette. It suits posters, slogans. Condensed, Regular and Extended styles of Kette allow fitting variable long text in headlines retaining the style and feel of the original design. This Pro font is packed with all European and Cyrillic alphabets, small caps, variable figure sets and features.

Cirquela is a new direction in type design for me. This is my first calligraphy font and my first hand drawn. Dubbel Zout in Dutch means ‘Double Salt’. I admit, it sounds better in Dutch… Dubbel Zout is a kind of licorice which we (in Holland) love! Not many people actually like it, but I know of one addict in Denmark, who eats it by the bagful. Dubbel Zout is a ‘crayon-ish’ font - all caps, different upper and lower glyphs that you can mix and a royal assortment of diacritics. The unusual name for this Deco style typeface comes from the playful and pun-laden 1960s Rocky & Bullwinkle TV show. It is the name of the newspaper in the mythical town of Frostbite Falls, MN, home of the two cartoon stars. The name, Picayune Intelligence, literally means “pretty dumb”, but we don’t think that describes Nick’s competent design at all. It is comforting to know that someone is still watching quality television.

This Contemporary style reflects a modern hand-lettered feel. Modeled from a camel hair brush, it is a very legible flowing script.
