One in the series of fonts called Whiz-Bang Wood Type, intended to be set large and tight. Pilot Point is based on an older font found in Dan X. Solo’s book on Circus Type; the designation fits perfectly. The font gets its name from a small town in Northeast Texas, where several scenes from Arthur Penn’s Bonnie and Clyde were filmed. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Subroyal was inspired by the official logo of the City of Montreal. The idea came to us while reading an article about a revised version of this logo that didn't have any original typography. We realized it was our civic duty to bring the City logo to life, and the result is a fairly romantic font that reminds us of the many parks around the island, its fragile snowflakes, and its electronic music scene. Tandpasta is danish for toothpaste. I was inspired by an old commercial for toothpaste, and since the only letters I had to work with was "Toothpaste" I had to use my imagination, to come up with the rest. I used a slightly blurry pen, leaving the lines of Tandpasta somewhat uneven, but still legibe.

Since I live in a hamlet without any facilities whatsoever, I order a lot online. Most deliveries are done during daytime, but some companies prefer to deliver my stuff at night. When I was drawing out the glyphs for this font (using my Chinese ink and a broken paint stirrer), the door bell rang. It was a Night Delivery…

“News Gothic” has been a reliable workhorse of a font since it was created by Morris Fuller Benton and first offered for sale in 1908 by American Type Founders. A clean, legible design used for text copy, it can also double as a light headline face. This reinterpretation (named Columnist JNL) is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Correntino Railway is a product of argentine typographic archeology project called “Tipografía Histórica Ferroviaria” (Fabio Ares & Octavio Osores, since 2012). Is about the signboards of the stations of the line of the Argentine Correntino Economic Railway (1892-1969). The letter of this signboards can be described as display type, with elementary geometric shapes, vertical line modulation and slight contrast.

It is known as the Naskh Font for its extensive use in the copying and transmission of books because it helps the writer to write more quickly than any other font since the Islamic times and then Naskh font wrote the "Quran". And the advantages of Naskh font are clarifying the letters and show their beauty and splendor.

This font was inspired by the embossed lettering on cigar boxes. The letters, or entire words, are often surrounded by raised dots, and that was our idea here. We drew this about 1997, and have been refining it ever since. All letters are on the lowercase keyboard; the end pieces and spaces are on the caps.

Yasuragi means ‘Peace of Mind’ or ‘Tranquility’ in Japanese. It is something I do not have a lot of since the corona lockdown…the ;-) Yasuragi is a handmade script font. It is quite neat, quite elegant and quite useful (in a tranquil, peace-of-mind kinda way). Yasuragi comes with double letter ligatures and all the diacritics you want.
