Sticks was originally designed as a custom logo for a sour gummy candy. It was then expanded to a full font, with numbers, symbols, foreign accents, and even a few ligatures. An all caps font, the capital letters are even more capital than the lower case capital letters. As a bold font, it's ideal for parties, flyers, greeting cards, posters, headlines, and snipes. It doesn't take itself too seriously, so it's well suited for comic, cartoony uses. The S is taller than the other letters and gives it it's unique quirky Stick-like personality. Use it with words and phrases that contain lots of S's!

It also works in smaller sizes, but it is not for the tiny text sizes. Alga started from an exploration of the thinner weight with this idea of a tall and elegant serif typeface with low contrast. I wouldn't recommend that you use this font for massive text, or text written in CAPS ... but then again, go ahead and try - I even kerned all the capital letters ... just in case that you would do something so crazy! :) Dynamique is a kind of a "straight out of the highway" grid-font. But then again, not ... if you use the lowercase alone, you have this almost monospaced font - try starting every word with a capital letter, and let it end with the alternate ligature, your words suddenly got even more power! If you want to go lightspeed - then use the same technique, but only with the italic version!

ABTS day of the dead is a highly detailed and meticulously designed symbol font. It’s design is inspired by the Day of the Dead celebration, honoring the deceased. I think The Day of the Dead is one of the greatest reasons anyone should celebrate life, so I decided to make a font honoring that tradition. I'm not even sure If I got all of it right, (traditional symbols and such) but it was a joy to create. There are 2 fonts. The first is the Skulls. This includes uppercase and lowercase A-Z, a-z. There you will find the decorated skulls, blank skulls, and negatives. The second font is the symbols. If you wish to design your own Day of the Dead skull, you should purchase the symbols, as they are designed specifically for adorning the blanks. Purchasing both fonts will give you a discount. Please note, the symbol font will show up in your application of choice as “ABTS Day of the Dead Bold.” This is to avoid software problems with naming the font itself "Symbols." Witch Hazel has been quite a while in the making; a fun font with slightly flared serifs, lots of ligatures and alternates, and over 1150 glyphs! This font is great for holiday designs, from Valentine's Day to Halloween to Christmas! It also bridges modern and vintage styling, so you can use it for fairy tales and pirates, or for your company's branding and logo! I just couldn't stop adding more and more to this font. OMG! I never thought I'd finish this font! Actually, the idea came to me in the late 1990-ies, but the sketches lied at the bottom of the "fonts I will complete one day In the future" pile ... also called "fonts I most likely won't complete...EVER" pile! :) Anyway, I started up with letters for both upper and lowercase, no numbers or punctuation. I figured if people ever purchased this font, all they would need were upper- or lowercase letters. But the rest of the glyphs seemed to miss out, so I made the numbers and some punctuation. But I still found the font incomplete...therefore I redid all the punctuation (from "standard" punctuation to "picturish" punctuation) and added two additional sets of letters. Meaning that there is 4 different versions of letters to choose from: 2 different lowercase, and 2 different lowercase. I had a lot of fun drawing this font, and some fun doing the detective work finding out how the MANY lettershapes should look! I hop you too have fun using this font! :)

Cypher is a techno looking font that attempts to employ the Gestalt principal of closure. It may, at larger sizes look like some sort of code or a bunch of dots and dashes, but when viewed at smaller sizes it falls together into legible words. This font family was first inspired by an experiment to try to make a legible upper and lower alphabet with the smallest grid possible that would still describe the letterforms. The original conclusion was that it could be done in a 3x6 grid. This made a fun design exercise, but it makes a lousy font. The grid was expanded a bit for aesthetic reasons to a 3x8 grid, But not restricted so severely and so occasionally goes wider than 3 for the certain letterforms. From this a whole family of widths and weights was born, and rather than simply obliquing for italics, a true italic of sorts was created. Cypher is a versatile family of 24 fonts – 4 widths, each with 3 weights and their accompanying italics.

Ares is a crisp all-caps display typeface suitable for sci-fi logos and titles. It owes its peculiar futuristic vibe to angular, top-heavy letters that hang from the cap-height instead of sitting on the baseline. The typeface consists of six subfamilies available in 10 weights, as well as as two variable fonts of three axes: Weight [wght], ranging from 1 to 1000, Mid-height [MHGT], ranginf from 0 to 1000, Tracking [TRAK], ranging from 0 to -40. The mid-height axis affects the typeface's waistline, including crossbars, and divides the fonts into three subfamilies: Ares Lo, Ares, and Ares Hi. These three families are solid-stroked, and the other three families are their stencil-stylized counterparts: Ares Broken Hi, Ares Broken, and Ares Broken Lo. The tracking axis is only available in the variable versions, and proportionally affects the kerning, thus helping set the type more tightly without effort. Once upon a time, Mestre Patau, the «Black» magician, concerned about children´s typefaces historical ugliness, decided to settle the matter and using his vector powers, made letters embellished to be used in that stories so that they were according with the great genius all children have inside. Well done face but happy, goodness is not incompatible with joy. Novecento Slab Rough adds a letterpress / analog effect to its Slab Serif parent. Each letter has a different pattern and gives you a truly realistic effect. Even accented variants of any base character are all different. This font has also a built-in feature that automatically displays a texture variant for the 2nd occurrence of a letter or a number when they appear close one to each other. For instance: AA OO TT ÜÜ. But also: AOA NON TXT etc. And don't forget alternate glyphs design such as N I J Q Y and all other features present in the Novecento mega family: 32 styles, 76 latin languages supported, 590 glyphs and 16 stylistic opentype features for advanced typography.

When I first approached this design back in 2003 I wrote myself a design brief that called for a simple sans serif "avec serifs" (with serifs). Its emphasis needed to be on text usage but to be at home in display sizes. A range of weights with a controlled step from one weight to the next, uniform character sets, spacing and kerning throughout the range. Attention to openness of counter spaces would be paramount to work in text sizes. Matching italics should be true italics not merely slanted - with a cursive feel. During extensive testing I decided to include a suite of ligatures to eliminate the hairline gaps that occur between slab serifs at display sizes. The user may activate "Discretionary Ligatures" or "Stylistic Set 1" for ligatures that are not included in the Standard Ligatures (ff, fi, fl, ffi and ffl). Lumios is a freehand casual marker script that was created using Pilot Sign Pen. It has both extended Latin and basic Cyrillic support that is enhanced with oodles of ligatures (latin as well as cyrillic) and alternates. As a compliment to the script I also created Lumios Design Elements font that can be useful in brand design, greeting cards design etc. Both fonts were carefully traced by hand and have clean edges, hence they are safe to use in all graphic design software (including but not limited to Adobe Suite, Silhouette and Cricut Design, Affinity Designer etc) as well as on websites. The script is fully unicode mapped. To use it in Silhouette and similar applications that do not support OpenType features (yet), you may need to use your default Mac/Windows software such as Font Book or Character Map to select alternates you need. Lumios Marker is a perfect companion to Lumios Typewriter, sharing the same soft curves and clean letter edges.

Ramsey is stout and warm, rectangular with rounded edges, and dynamic with swift cuts. Ranging from thin and condensed to extended and black, Ramsey has seen applications in sports teams to movie titles and even art magazines. Through the years, Ramsey has proven itself to be a true workhorse of a font. This version has a lot of minor updates to the form and spacing, and we now see an extended family to complete it’s legacy. A true workhorse.

Noka is a powerful display geometric sanserif with a lot of personality. Its clean structure refers to a more digital and technological atmosphere. Letters P F T L are narrower than usual to create a distinct feeling. Diagonal strokes of letters V v W w A are parallel.

Jourba is my quick scribbled serif font. Here and there you can notice inkblobs and obvious clumbsy lines. Comes with alternate upper- and lowercase along with a lot of ligatures of the most used typical letter combinations! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the ligatures.

Plakkaat is a fat brushed font, made with wide brushes and paint. Since it is a very easy to read font (and not to be missed), it is ideal for advertising campaigns, or demonstration signs. This 2019 version comes with improved kerning, some new and some adjusted glyphs.

Semarang Kolonial is a stylish, all caps Art Deco font. It is not a recreation of a particular typeface; merely my salute to a bygone era and to the birthplace of my father in law, who recently passed away. Semarang Kolonial goes well with the original Semarang font.

Naveid Arabic is new version of Naveid with the addition of Arabic glyphs, for Arabic, Urdu, and Farsi. Basic form for arabic font is refers to the arabic kufi style, with combining the cuppped serif on top and the tinny Subtle Flaring on the terminal, to harmony with Latin.

An irresistible design by my (11 year old) Granddaughter; it brings that child innocence to font design. When she first showed it to me I was so impressed I could not resist I had to make it into her very own font. Watchmaker was designed with the limitations imposed by a simple LCD that is meant only to display numbers. Most LCD typefaces use some diagonals to make the letters look better. This one does not and from it you can see why a few diagonals are needed to display letters on a LCD. Watchmaker is monospaced and comes in plain and bold weights.

Valkyrie was designed following the idea to have realy strong letters taking a lot of room. This results in a heavy appearance and gives Valkyrie its special look. It is possible to give it an even more uniform look by using the alternate characters. What can a strong font be used for? Valkyrie hopes to break rules. Use its power.

Hakan is an modern display font with an Arabian look. This font particularly for those not native to Arabic languages. Hakan try to bring back the Baghdad and Alladin memories to your design or typography. The font suits creative titling on both web and print, perfect for scroll text. Well balanced letters make for readable blocks of copy or headings.

Keybies is a font that produces an octave of a piano keyboard, with several variations. Type K or k repeatedly into the textbox above to see. The complete instructions are provided in the download file. One use is to print it in grey and draw big black dots on the relevant keys for chord diagrams, to help children or beginners.

Gaston is a complete solution for teachers and pupils. A wide choice of styles allows to create varied and homogeneous documents. For Vega antikva, too, 16th and 17th century typefaces stood models. I made a free interpretation of them, with a nice result, if I am allowed to express myself. Vega antikva makes a beautiful impression in books, but even as a web typeface it behaves well. The name Vega can be traced down to a constellation, a mathematician, a writer, a movie character, or a research ship, as you like. Now there is a typeface with that name, too. Vega antikva was released in 1994.

I’m not trying to be sarcastic or ironic. But after looking at fridge magnets, postcards, posters and stickers with clever words about love and happiness, I suddenly found them all cheesy. You may have guessed it by now: I’m not into clever words like those…but I do respect if they brighten someones’s life. This font, however, was made to brighten people’s life by being great as a soft, handmade and organic headline font! Use for your favourite quotes, or whatever needs a legible and clear presentation!

Vienna designer Viktor Solt has a love affair with handwriting. “Usually” he says “when I start with a specific calligraphic style I take some historic specimens and try to integrate their main features into my own handwriting.” Although there are hints of various 18th-century calligraphic styles in Ballerino it was not based on any historical model. The swash ascenders and descenders on the lowercase are all slightly different; this and the rough texture of the edges gives Ballerino a distinctly hand-written feel. The swash caps are meant to be used only in conjunction with the lowercase not to be combined with each other.
