MIR Next is a growing multi-script type family best described by the terms “humanist–semi–slab-serif”. Its character set contains Latin and Cyrillic, both extended, as well as Greek, covering more than 100 languages. Strong personality along with consistency between language systems were a basic aim when designing the family. As a result MIR has become a great tool for branding and international identities. Since the early 1980's, the automotive industry has been developing geometric/technical style logotypes for car chrome labels. The styles are ripe with inspiration for great font families, but surprisingly, many of these sleek logotypes are lacking an expansive family to enhance and express their brand in a richer sense, becoming true brand workhorses. The Lustra family finds its origin of inspiration in the HYUNDAI automotive company logo, and from there expands to an 8 font family of weights. Cumhuriyet is an Arabic concept that means "the form of government in which the nation holds the sovereignty and uses it through the deputies elected for certain periods". The reason why I gave this name to the font is that 2023 is the centennial anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, which was founded by Atatürk. Churchward Legible is an extensive typeface family designed by New Zealand type designer Joseph Churchward. A geometric sans serif, it is, as its name boasts, highly legible and readable on screen as well as in print. The family includes five weights from Light to Extra Bold, with companion italics.
