Airy is in fact a very light-minded summer font without any serious design concept. It is a collection of hand-drawn letters that with the help of OpenType features allow you to get a lace texture with mutable structure. Together with the font you also get a bonus — a set of naive pictures that you normally draw on the margins of your sketchbook.

German designer Erbar drew the Candida typeface for the Ludwig & Mayer foundry shortly before his death in 1935. The typeface was released posthumously in 1936. An italic designed by Walter Höhnisch was published the following year and a reworked version was produced in 1945. Bold weights followed in 1951. Thanks to its clarity and readability in small sizes, the Candida family remained popular in the digital age.

A digital tablet was used to draw all the characters in the font. The thick and thin strokes were created by applying pressure to the pen, like jesters dancing and bouncing in the streets as the music played.

Beckinslade is a lovely elaborate blackletter face, released just in time for Christmas, but useable at any time of the year. It is in the best traditions of Victorian Gothic revival, drawing inspiration from a range of sources and marrying them into one homogenous whole. The emphasis is on aesthetics rather than historical accuracy. Great fun though for anywhere ‘ye olde’ look is desired.

Darby came about while playing with a loaded round-tipped brush. The letters remind me a bit of signage I remember seeing at county fairs in my youth. It's a casual comfortable font that lends itself well to outlining and drop shadows for emphasis. This font is influenced by Walbaum. However, I did not just trace the design, but sort of had the image in my head while I drew the letters. This font is balanced by not being entirely Walbaum, but still basically is. I've named it "NoraPen." Nora comes from the name of the main character in Ibsen's "A Doll's House," and Pen means a cage for livestock.
