Anarckhie is a decorative slab-serifed typeface with a calligraphic origin. The horizontal elements of the upper-case letters are below their midpoint, and the x-height of the lower-case letters is unusually small. There is some variation in the weights of the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal elements. The small x-height makes this typeface appear smaller than its point size would indicate.

Carter Sans: a wonderfully accomplished humanist sans serif with a beautiful twist Matthew Carter has been involved in designing typefaces since before many of us were in diapers. With dozens of great typefaces to his name, he has finally put his name to one. His newest typeface, Carter Sans™, brings together those decades of wisdom, experience, and technical expertise. The result is a humanist sans with flared strokes and terminals, a feature that has more in common with the chisel rather than the broad nib pen. Subtle detail, elegant curves, and graceful proportions make for an exceptional and distinctive sans serif typeface, that Carter himself describes as a 'humanist stressed sans.' This imbues the letterforms with a dynamism sometimes lacking in humanist sans serifs. Use it to striking effect in all-caps settings, or for extended texts. Carter Sans was recently used to great effect by Michael Bierut and Joe Marianek of Pentagram, in their work for the Art Directors Club.Carter Sans italics are unfussy, with the only remnants of cursiveness in letters like e and f. Kamui is a font designed by Carlos Fabian Camargo G. and used to write headlines. Its strategy makes it ideal for covers and advertisements with Japanese-style manga comics requiring latin style. Precisely its purpose was inspired by typographical classics such as Mistral by R. Excoffon and Zapfino by H. Zapf that then were diluted by separate strokes as blackletter calligraphy. However, high doses of miscegenation and lettering untimely torn between 50% esthetic and 50% legibility. That way his radical expression is highly profitable for composing and designing words and phrases with Eastern look. And more importantly, the writing seems drawn quickly with thin-tipped brush staining over a rough surface, from that process comes the idea of corroded outlines and changes in contrast. In conclusion, some diagonal strokes, horizontal, curved and vertical stand or hide from their simulation of scarcity or abundance of ink clots. That way each stroke seems inconsistent, footprint of the 423 brush drawing glyphs in Regular Kamuy. In that sense, the OpenType features included are: Standard Ligatures, Contextual Alternates, discretionary ligatures, swash, stylistic alternates, alternatives for titles, ordinals, fractions. Crayon fonts are fantastic! I've always thought it looked so cool with fonts that simulate writing with crayons...but the fonts has always been limited in letters! But that’s where my Pigeon Wing font stands out! Using the smart techniques of the OpenType thing called “Stylistic alternates”, you get 8 different versions of each letter! Yes EIGHT different versions that cycle as you write! That means words with the same letter appearing several times, cycles through the different versions! Harajuku Script is an ‘easy-on-the-eye’ script font. I made it with a Japanese brush pen. The font is quite stylish, so I named it after Tokyo’s Harajuku area, which is known internationally as a center of Japanese youth culture and fashion. Harajuku Script would look good anywhere, but product packaging, websites and magazines could profit from this handwritten gem.

Sonopa is a classically unclassifiable face, with an array of standard and extended ligatures and alternates, tabular and lining oldstyle figures. In essence, it is a playful, hand-penned script, with elements of rigidity taken from more structured styles. Sonopa contains enough detail to fare well at poster sizes, with an evenness of color that is also suitable for text runs.

ITC Humana Sans font is the work of British designer Timothy Donaldson, an extended and versatile font family with a large array of variations. FebDei is neat, meticulous hand printing in two weights, plain and bold, each with italics. It has little contrast and appears as if it was written with a pencil or ball-point pen. Unlike many other hand-printing fonts, it has tiny serifs. FebDrei was created in the process of making the fonts AllSmiles and BringInTheFrowns and can be used with them.

Stibium is a mix between a garalde character and a transitional character. It is inspired by the humanist calligrahy of the Renaissance, the axis is oblique but with more compact proportions and pointed serifs inspired by the pen drawing. It has 7 different styles with the italics. Each contains 685 glyphs with an alternate "A", small caps, Old Style numbers and symbols.

Geometa is based on Paul Renners Futura Classic, the one that he designed before he had to soften it to make it more appealing to the broad public. I thought the original design would lend itself perfect to make a rounded version, that has got more character than the ever so boring DIN-typeface. Inspired by a handwritten Cyrillic placard seen in a book about the Soviet Union, Statue of Liberty's Underwear was envisioned as having been written with a very thick pen with a flat tip held horizontally. Additionally, the letterforms were sculpted to resemble lettering common in early 20th-century Russian constructivism pieces. A Cyrillic alphabet, or "azbuka", set was included in the font.

Cal Fraktur Brush is one more font from the PKG “Cal” (Calligraphic) group. This time, we used a wide brush instead of the calligraphic pen for the sketches. Gaius is a beautiful script face with a nice relationship between the broad-edged pen and the proportions of the letterforms.
