Beware of the Phantasm! Just in time for Halloween, Phantasm is perfect for your creepiest projects. It has great legibility and boasts a much larger character set than most display fonts. Within the pages of an early-1900s instructional book on show card lettering was found a marvelous example of an alphabet that typifies the Art Nouveau movement of the era and served as the inspiration for Nouveau Riche JNL. This cheerful, laid-back font is made out of a variety of different fragments - stripes, dots, zigzags and more, giving each character its own identity. When brought together into words and sentences, the figures create a playful chaos like that of a patchwork quilt. Zera JNL is one of those fonts that defy any simple description. While trying out effects on Transactive JNL, Jeff Levine came up with a set of letters comprised of intersecting rings that could illustrate chain, cellular structure, bubbles or probably anything your imagination can come up with to adapt the font to a particular project. Please keep in mind this design works best in larger point sizes.

Hangtime Rad and Extra were designed with surf posters in mind, a subject close to my heart as an avid sailboarder and surfer. Its slightly raked (3 degrees) yet vertical appearance makes for compact setting with extreme impact. Hangtime exhibits some quirky terminal features, its shortened upstrokes are balanced by the lengthened strokes of others providing unusually consistent spacing. Best applied to display situations but is readable at text sizes.

Moniak Sans is a linear, humanist sans with a vertical stress axis. Distinctive for its open strokes, Moniak features generally broader typeface proportions to offer excellent readability even at small sizes. This property also supports lowercase stroke endings. The designer emphasised elegant, pure curves in the skeleton of the font, making it optically friendly and inviting in magazine headline and poster applications. Most languages using Latin script are supported.

Victory Type is proud to present the release of another classic American typeface. Originally a wood-type, Barnum evokes circus wagons and wanted posters from the wild west. Rugged, rustic, old-fashioned and full of character, Barnum is a charming blast from the past and great for headlines and signage. This chunky slab-serif alphabet was digitized and expanded to include full punctuation and European characters by Noah Rothschild.

The origin of this family is the classic French-Belgian comics. The screams and onomatopoeia of these comics have so much personality that I needed to create a typeface family that would allow the designer to really replicate them. Caesario is Mike Scarpitti's newest font, based on the famous inscriptory lettering on the Trajan column in Rome. After searching through many sources, he turned to the drawings of the original column lettering made by Frederic Goudy in 1936. The superior quality of these drawings combined with the Mike's faithful reproduction of the characters forms make Caesario the best available representation of the style of this famous incription.

Petite Fleur is a combination of engraved, flowery embellishments and the Capitals of my redesigned Royal Romain (Romain du Roi), the exclusive font of King Louis XIV. It is best used as initials only, but can be mixed with Royal Romain. On the keys for ≥ and ≤ I designed two filler embellishments and the ciphers 0-9 are embellished as well. Enjoy! ITC Blaze was designed by Patty King in 1995. It is a typeface which looks as though it were written by hand with a broad tipped pen on rough paper. The pointed ends of the characters and the leaning to the right give the font a dynamic, energetic feel. Blaze shows the influence of the late 1940s and is best suited for headlines and short to middle length texts.

Speedometer is derived from Dimensions font family that is most narrow and black font for titling and logo. This Speedometer is more elegant by its contrast between the thickness of stem and thinness of the arms than Dimensions. This contrast makes more vigorous and speedy impressions too. All 6 weights and italics have upper and lower cases, accented characters and small capital glyphs that can be used with OpenType smcp feature.

Cyntho Pro is a modern geometric sans with eight weights varying from Thin to Black and featuring Cyrillic and Greek scripts. Unlike most geometric sans faces, it offers optional upright and real italics, wrapped in OpenType ‘stylistic alternates’ features, or stylistic set #02, where sets can be applied separately. Ephemera Shoemakers is a bold font with spurred serif & medium contrasted, vintage inspiration with letters in all caps. Linotype Gavotte was designed by Rudo Spemann in 1940. His style was unmistakable, marked by original ideas and completely new forms. His tendency toward the unusual and adventurous resulted in unique, decorative characters. When he wrote, the tip of his pen flew across the page, leaving behind rows of letters which displayed an almost unbelievable regularity of form and flow. Gavotte is a perfect example of the best of Spemann’s calligraphy.
