I wanted to make something suitable as a bookcover for a something romantic or adventurous - or perhaps even both. As the proces continued, I found that the font was suitable for even more than that. You can easily use Fortunate for your postcards, invitations, menus, posters and many other things. You shouldn’t even be afraid to do your projects in foreign languages, because Fortunate is loaded with international characters. Besides that, every letter has got 5 different versions that automatically cycles as you type. Now that’s something enchanted!

Crayon fonts are fantastic! I've always thought it looked so cool with fonts that simulate writing with crayons...but the fonts has always been limited in letters! I have had the name "Fruitcake Fanatics" in my mind for quite some time now...but I needed a font that suited the name...then one day...actually last Wednesday, I was playing around with some letters (which eventually would turn out to be this font!) and suddenly it struck me: I got the letters for my Fruitcake Fanatics font! Another story could be - what does the name mean?! Well, to tell you the truth, I don't know - but what I do know is that the font is playful and unpredictable and loads of fun!

The 'VanderHand' font is a friendly and easy to use handwritten font. It is so loaded with ligatures it could easily pass for actual handwriting. The font was created with a felt-tip brush pen and so there are natural thick and thin parts in the characters. All writing was done upright with tightly fit characters. As a result this font has a unique 'instant logo' quality. But you should really try this out for yourself. O, and the font was written by Jeroen van der Ham. It's his handwriting. That's why it's called VanderHand.
