The 1897 specimen book from Barnhart Brothers and Spindler showed a enchanting little face called Dotted Roman. Here's a faithful revival, ready to warm up the 21st century. Both versions support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

Vinea is a family of ten display faces that take us on an enjoyable excursion into the world of the retro-futuristic. Ideal for posters, book covers, and anything that needs the sort of futuristic feel that abounded in designs from the 30s to the fifties. The en faces have been designed with uniform metrics, to facilitate multi-coloured overlay effects.

Volume is a 3D font, with interlocked characters, inspired by vintage wooden block capitals! Superimposed weights bring light and shadow on the structure and allows many coloured combinations. Compilation Grotesk is a variable font concept that includes 9 sort of adjustable heights inspired principally on Matterhorn Headliners 2. The "height" axis allowes the glyphs expand along the Y-axis upward from the baseline as the values increases from 700 to 1100. Due to it, the system adapts keeping the contrast and the original proportions. Don't stretch it out, just adjust it!

This font is based on a lot of the downtempo culture in Paris. Smoky bars, jazz clubs, that sort of thing. How a font can be influenced by intangibles is a question that I can't quite answer, but I can say that when I created it, it strongly reminded me of a couple of times spent in Paris back in the mid-90s.

A typeface to be reckoned with. It's sharp lines and unruly angles are perfect for concert posters, blackmail, and wedding invitations. Keep punk alive and support your local electro goth band by using Death Ray. Available in only uppercase because all messages that merit Death Ray's use must command that sort of attention. And who said type shouldn't be expressive.

Sometimes the simplest ideas yield more than one result. The basic “dot matrix” design of aligned circles that was the basis for Transactive JNL also yielded Zera JNL (connected rings) and Pillow Puff JNL (fluffy and cloud-like lettering). One more design was originally cast aside. A separate file is available for filling in the letters with a colored background, however minute adjustments may be needed due to the fact that each drawing or design software program has its own characteristics and quirks. The Momentum family of typefaces is not for the faint of heart. Although difficult to spot at small point sizes, the glyphs are nothing but dot-to-dot letterforms raggedly, haphazardly placed for a chunky appearance. Brazen and bold in its appearance, Momentum may be EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FOR in a font family, unless you desire a chiseled, flat, cut-out look. Originally developed for package design requiring a grunge appearance, the Momentum family of fonts creates controversy and speculation wherever it is utilized. Momentum is a modern, chiseled typeface designed with a sense of humor. Perfect for large and small display alike, the extended character set allows flexibility on the fly.

MVB Aunt Mildred has a vintage charm that evokes hand-lettered postcards or advertising. Akemi Aoki drew the letterforms with a fine-tip felt pen and named it after her great aunt. Since its release in 1995, Aunt Mildred has been a popular choice for children’s books. Italics and bold weights have been added, making it even more useful for publications, packaging, and greetings of all sorts.

Johabu is based on Gebrochene Fraktur, a lighter softer sort of type, compared to the German forms of the same period. Johabu was drawn by Johannes Bureus, around 1620, cut and cast by Peter van Selow in Stockholm. Johannes Bureus, archaeologist and linguist, designed and let Selow cast runes in 1598, and he became the first Swedish keeper, archivist, of the National Record Office State Archives.

DicSans is a square sans-serif typeface, inspired by Aldo Novarese’s Eurostile, it was meant as a sort of contemporary "open" Eurostile. It is a semi-custom font, designed and expanded according to costumers’ requests, since 2004 up to 2013. For this reason it has many glyph variants (up to three variants per lowercase glyphs and numbers, special smallcaps etc.) and wide language coverage.

Popty Ping is Welsh slang for microwave oven. It literally means ‘oven that goes ping’. Popty Ping was sort of based on an older font of mine called Jambo. It is a very happy cartoon font, ideal for children’s book covers, ice cream packaging and microwave popcorn (preferably the non GM kind). Comes in two great styles and more diacritics than you can pop in an oven!

An elegant display face influenced by Aldine oldstyle letterforms, Miranda Pro brings the early successful Tim Rolands font Miranda into the OpenType era. Miranda Pro now includes numerous extended ligatures, alternate forms, small capitals and support for a wider range of languages. Use it as a companion display for classic text fonts or on its own as a refined but stylish messenger for all sorts of projects.

This font is influenced by Walbaum. However, I did not just trace the design, but sort of had the image in my head while I drew the letters. This font is balanced by not being entirely Walbaum, but still basically is. I've named it "NoraPen." Nora comes from the name of the main character in Ibsen's "A Doll's House," and Pen means a cage for livestock.

The Kaktis collection features eleven typefaces that have spikes or spines. Some have short spikes, some long, some sparse spines and others abundant spikes. They are novelty fonts with limited uses, but there can be times when a typeface of this sort may be appropriate, perhaps for a sharp rebuke or a pointed reminder. These faces were constructed in the mid 1990s using a font distortion program.

Blotchy Bitter – Playful Typeface is made with a regular version and a polka-dot textured version ready to perfect the design in your project. Binomic is a sort of monospaced font family. "Sort of" because it was not designed with the sole purpose of being used as a coding font, but rather as a nice alternative to monospaced fonts in graphic design projects. It's a friendly mix between your average fixed-width font and a more geometric, wider sans, thus more of a display font than a text one. The Binomic family has both upright and slanted versions, each in four convenient weights. The family is equipped with 480+ glyphs, has Latin Extended and Cyrillic support (both Russian and Bulgarian), oldstyle figures, as well as a set of cute technical characters, alternates and symbols. The Binomic family is clean, amiable and really versatile, so it will fit most design applications - from greeting cards, menus, merchandise, book covers and packaging materials to websites and apps. It is legible and modern, kind of sleek but without any pretensions.

All uppercase typeface for comic book lettering. Designed by Abay Emes. Supports extended Cyrillic and Latin characters. Has a stylistic set alternate L and D for Cyrillic and a stylistic set for languages with dotless i and i with dot (like Turkish). "Hiykäyä" translates from Qazaq as "Story".

Ever seen a zombie starfish? No? Well, neither have I. But this font actually comes close! Zombie Starfish, despite its name, is quite a happy cartoon font. It comes in three styles (regular, eroded and dots), plus accompanying italics. Use it for book covers, seafood restaurants or packaging.

Remember those plastic Popsicle sticks that clicked together and you could make things from them with your sticky little fingers? Things like... camp crafts. Well, no� Of course you don't. You were too young. That�s why there is Campcraft. This is a fun loving dot-matrix font, or it would be a fun loving dot-matrix if the vertical and horizontal grid lines didn't pile up at the intersections. Then again, it wouldn't be any fun if they didn't pile up at the intersections, would it? Strictly a display type... Campcraft is excellent for what the name suggests. I goes well with Christmas sweaters, beaded jackets and purses and that time when we were all happy children with sticky little fingers.

Newcomen is a highly versatile titling face that includes 87 OpenType alternates and 38 ligatures. Newcomen titling, in its default form, evokes the Victorian era and is named for the British inventor of a steam engine for pumping water. Newcomen's flexibility is remarkable; the family includes four weights, and OpenType style sets are included that can alter the appearance of the face to either appear more dark and gothic, classical, include dots in the counters, and swash and "boxy" sets. Individual characters can also be selected and mixed and matched in OpenType capable applications for distinctive custom designs. A few design ideas are to use the gothic alternates for Halloween, the dots for a steampunk appearance, or the traditional alternates for a unique classical look.

Astrotype is an excellent choice for use in astronomical or astrological literature – books, journals, magazines, etc. It can be used effectively both within the text and in accompanying graphics. Using all weights also opens up a number of illustrative possibilities, for instance on posters or tarot cards. Clarity, homogeneity and pure simplicity give Astrotype its unique character. Based on the same elements and with consistant proportions, the characters display a natural elegance and harmony. The type really stands out through the ease with which it can be integrated into text and the many creative possibilities of combinations of different weights. For instance, try placing Astrotype N dot over Astrotype P dot and using different colors – perfect for onscreen buttons, icons or decorations.

School Hand is a font designed for use with young children. There is the Dotted version, which is designed to be traced over with a larger dot to show where to start and automatic lines. Then there is the Regular version which can be used for reading or can be printed light grey for tracing. School Hand Cursive is a cursive font which is designed using contextual alternates. Contextual alternates cannot be activated in the Myfonts preview window so please see the gallery images which show how the smooth flow of letters is achieved. Hibernica is a new genuine Irish sans in the classical modern style. With Hibernica it is possible to express Irishness in an up-to-date fashion rather than the traditionalist way. The design of Hibernica is based on my Lapidaria family. With Lapidaria it shares the classic appearance and coolness, stroke pattern, proportions and dimensions. Therefore Hibernica and Lapidaria are a perfect couple for bilingual text editing, e.g. Irish–English (not to forget the Greek parts of Lapidaria!). All fonts contain the full set of dotted ḃ ċ ḋ ḟ ġ ṁ ṗ ṡ ṫ in upper- and lowercase and an additional set of a dozen celtic ornaments. A calligrapher, graphic designer and teacher, Duško Trifunović of Belgrade created this handsome calligraphic typeface called Sloboda. It has an open design, an outline of sorts, and though the lowercase is small and compact, it sets beautifully in text. The generously sized uppercase has a swash flavor to it yet works harmoniously with itself. This OpenType font has extra ligatures and the extended character set supports Central Europe.

So I made Smithens Villa Script, sort of classic decorative with a modern twist. It is a display font meant for vintage logos, fashion labels, custom cards headers, badges, food packaging designs, as there are a lot of fancy letter connections. Also I offer a decent amount of stylistic alternatives for many letters. Smithens Villa Script contains standard characters, lowercase, uppercase, numbers, punctuation,stylistic style and international characters.
