This rough font, was created inspired from a lot of various european documents dated from the end of 1600's. We were in search of a hand to accompany with "The Treasure Island" novel by R.L. Stevenson, and this seems to be the good one. It is a "Pro" font containing Western (including Celtic) and Northern European, Icelandic, Baltic, Eastern, Central European and Turquish diacritics. We have also included a few old English specific abbreviations. The numerous alternates (four sorts of standard lowercases and two sets of capitals) and numerous ligatures allow to made the font looking like a real various hand. Using an OTF software, the features allow to vary each character without anything to do but to select contextual alternates and standard ligatures and/or stylistic alternates options. The "Ru" version is a supplementary choice, offering Russian Cyrillics.

Dearest is a distinct flowing script based on handwritten characters found in a 19th Century German book chronicling a history of the Middle Ages. The famous Irish poet and novelist Jonathan Swift (Dublin 1667-1745) has a large personal library of which he noticed carefully the book list by himself. We have used a facsimile from this catalogue to reconstruct this present font, as one example of the poet’s personal hands but also as a typical example of the British quill pen handwriting from about mid 1600’s to the beginning of 1700’s . It is a “Pro” font containing Western (including Celtic) and Northern European, Icelandic, Baltic, Eastern, Central European and Turquish diacritics. The numerous alternates and ligatures allow to made the font looking as closely as possible to the real hand. Using an OTF software, the features allow to vary automatically almost each character of a word without anything to do but to select contextual alternates and standard ligatures and/or stylistic alternates options.

German designer Rosemarie Kloos-Rau created Wiesbaden Swing in 1992 for Linotype. This light, informal typeface is based on her own handwriting, and the strokes have a feeling of spontaneity and energetic flair. MAS AMOR POR FAVOR (1) (more love, please) Fluire means -to flow- in Italian and that’s what this font is all about. The story began when a friend of mine asked for a tattoo with the word -Fluir- (to flow in Spanish). She didn't want a tattoo full of swashes and swirls, like I'm used to doing, but something more fluent, soft and minimal. My very first attempts were more related to copperplate calligraphy but I wasn't even close: I discovered that I needed to forget a little bit about the classic contrast and speed of the engrosser's nib and started playing with a tiny flat metal nib. Letters started to flow, and I immediately thought of turning them into a font. Inspired by the tattoo I created and by other tattoos I saw, I started the journey of what would be a very fun process. The result is a very cute, almost monoline font with a wide range of uses. USES If not used for a tattoo (my first ‘target’), the font delivers amazing results in combination with Fluire Caps: These two need each other, they go together, they talk. I designed Fluire Caps Down and Fluire Caps Up so it’s easier to manage their colors. Also there’s Fluire Caps Down Lines, which has a decorative thin line to add yet another dimension. Use the fonts in magazines, book covers, posters, greeting cards, weddings, lettered walls, storefronts! TIPS Since the font is Open-Type programmed, I strongly recommend using it in applications that support that feature. However, each artist or singer has a segment because almost all of them have characteristics. The Design The basic design of this typeface begins with a transitional serif shape with sharp, shapeless corners. Then in the middle of the invention, there was an opportunity to explore it further from the readability side by adding an optical variable that can adjust the serif thickness when used together between large, medium to paragraph text sizes for editorials. The shift from serif to sans-serif with the contrast initiated by the shift of the serif family form as a different variable also makes this font richer in terms of the features it contains. We have transformed the “99 names of ALLAH” into a font. That means each key on your keyboard represents 1 of the 99 names of ALLAH Aaza Wajal. The first "Alef" has a "fatha", this indicates to pronounce the first letter. New-Yorker-Type was one of the first typefaces I tried my hand at in 1985. I meant it as a revival of the typeface used by the New Yorker magazine. I did not scan it. I just looked at the type and redrew it completely by hand. Only much later did I come to know, that there is a bundle of similar typefaces of that period. Rea Irvin's design for New-Yorker magazine was just one of them, maybe the best. In the next step I repaired some of the mistakes that I made more than thirty years ago. Now on the eve of 2020 I gave the font a complete overhaul and added a set of Swash Initials, Cyrillic and Greek glyphs and many ligatures. The font now has 1075 glyphs and is all set for most latin writing systems. On top of that I made two versions, a Classic one with rounded corners and a pointed Pro version for a more up-to-date look. Take your pick. Roster is a strong brush script family of two weights, caps and a set of ornaments. Roster is great for any kind display use from advertising to packaging and from online to branding. Roster is clear and legible even in smaller sizes and works for longer texts too, but is at it’s best when used for shorter sentences or even just for one or two word display or logo use. Roster is equipped with plenty of Ligatures and Contextual alternates that are automatically activated as long as you keep Standard Ligatures feature on. These features help to maintain the flow and add on some variation when writing with Roster. If you need more than that there is at least three Alternates for each basic character: click on Swash, Stylistic or Titling Alternates in any OpentType savvy program or check out for even more alternates from the Glyph Palette. Since uppercase letters in Roster are mainly designed as initials I made Roster Caps for an all caps version of the capital letters. Roster Caps can be used on it’s own or to support Roster Script. Roster Ornaments is a set of swashes and brush strokes designed to support the font.
