IA Morning Star is a readable universal comic book dialogue font that adorns any book. The family includes Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic. Added a set of European characters, Cyrillic; auto ligatures to replace repeating characters, and contextual autoreplacing crossbar "I" in words like I, I'm, etc.

This display font has an oriental character reminiscent of brush stroke calligraphy and all things Japanese. My original working title for this font was ‘Spanner’, because the lower case ‘c’, with which the design began, looked rather like the head of a spanner. I originally had in mind something more mechanical, but as it evolved and developed the font itself obviously had other ideas!

Modena is a beautiful high fashion font duo that makes for gorgeous logos, posters, wedding invitations, blog posts, social media, and more! I love using them together with layer masks in Photoshop, so it looks like the script is running through the lines of the sans serif. The sans looks stunning with tracking set to 220, as well as where it falls normally at 0! Modena Script includes over 50 ligatures to make everything look totally hand-done, and alternates for each letter.

Quayside is a deliciously thick and bulbous baseball script, with a wealth of OpenType features. Features include: Contextual alternates - I would suggest having these on by default; they make letters connect more smoothly (uppercase letters like M and H, which are normally non-connecting for all-caps purposes, connect to lowercase letters. The swash variant of J, and all o and b characters connect to any e character at a lower junction for a smoother join). Contextual alternates also make sure special end-forms of lowercase letters are used at the ends of words. Ligatures - A nice collection of useful ligatures which make the text flow smoother. Swash - Gives you more exuberant capitals. Not recommended for all-caps usage! The swash function also gives a variation of the ampersand and turns # into a nice numero symbol. Oldstyle Figures - lining figures are default but with the flick of a switch in OpenType savvy applications, you get expressive oldstyle figures. Quayside is a versatile typeface. Depending on the mood you're after, it can easily be retro or modern, fun or (fairly) serious. I'm often pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of uses my fonts get put to, and I can't wait to see what you do with this one!

I've always admired the work of Rudolph Koch. Culpepper is what I think Neuland would have looked like if it had been developed with lowercase, small caps and a range of weights. I started work on this series in the late 80’s and, like so many of my ideas, it was shelved when life drew me in another direction. Culpepper is the name of one of the islands in the Galapagos chain.

This font contains the Slavic version of the Runic script. Slavic runic script contains 18 characters. This font can be used with both latin keyboards and cyrillic based keyboards. In the development of this font, I used internet resources and could not find a written source. I wish you to use it in good work.

Lifeform is a modern display font created as a result of my experiments on the forms of letters. While working on the font, I had ambivalent feelings, on the one hand I liked the individual curved lines, on the other hand they seemed very strange, alien and illogical. It was like looking into a microscope and seeing something strange. I wanted to develop and study these forms as something new, because I had never seen anything similar before. The result is a contrasting font that has both curves and sharp, and smooth lines that resemble some kind of organic matter. The font is well suited for large headlines, posters and covers. Hello, friends! I have a good news! At last I have finished working on my Antique Initials color font. Wow! It was a long and hard work because every initial is unique. I sketched each letter of the font very scrupulously from scratch. Each letter is uniquely designed and has a unique flower pattern in the background. I used a pale old color palette to color these letters. There came out two font variants: a black and white and a nice colored one. My name is Teruyoshi Matsui. I live in Japan. I am a Brush Artist. I artistically write the letters of the alphabet with a Japanese brush. I have created the font “ BrushType Longhand”. It was originally named "BrushType Alternative". But I changed my mind before it was completed. At first I aimed at an alternative font. But while I was trying to make it alternative, I realized that it was not. Of course there are many alternative letters that you have never seen before among them, so you have to be careful using the font. If you are a progressive and defiant designer trying to discriminate against others' designs, you should own my font "BrushType Longhand". Be ambitious! This is the word I will give you. I am ambitious ,too. No one in the world creates brush fonts like me. I am the only one as a Brush Artist though no one knows. I will be a world artist some day. Guaruja Grotesk is the first Tipogra Fio family for headlines & body copy. The grotesque form factor is much inspired in the Modernism movement from the mid of 20th Century but the Italic weight is a great cursive contrast aside the Roman ones so you can make very brutalist layouts or craft humanist projects, without losing the communication between all the family. Do not be afraid to type words with uppercase I and lowercase L because this last one has its own personality so do others glyphs like Italic lowercase G, Y and K and the straight corners in the Roman uppercase A, K, V, W, X, Y and Z. The same curves and corners are transferred to the numbers, symbols and so on. If your text is in a latin alphabet even though has lots of diacritcs, Guaruja may get it done! If you’re making a mathematical equation, it also can make it. If there’s a signaling project with lots of destinations, trust the arrows to help with together with the whole family.

Omnibus is one of my absolute favourites. My intention was to design a typeface as easy to read as Baskerville, without being a copy of it. It is easy to see that I was influenced by Baskerville, e.g. in the open lowercase g. I had in mind to design a Baskerville with the looks of the Baskervilles used in earlier typesetting. I put aside those plans for a while (but fulfilled them later on) and dedicated myself to Omnibus. In both cases my aim was to achieve a typeface with darker looks than the most used Baskerville. The name has nothing to do with buses, it is Latin with the meaning of for all". It is also in the name of Omnibus Typografi. Omnibus was released in 1993.

Architype Crouwel is a collection of typefaces created in collaboration with Wim Crouwel, following his agreement with The Foundry, to recreate his experimental alphabets as digital fonts. Crouwel's most recognized work was for the Van Abbe and Stedelijk museums (1954 –72) where he established his reputation for radical, grid-based design. Architype Catalogue’s soft ‘padded’ letterforms were originally created by Wim Crouwel for the Stedelijk museum’s 1970 exhibition of sculptor Claes Oldenburg.. Crouwel said, ‘When you look at Oldenburg’s work, with all those soft objects, it gets into your system, so you try to integrate that feeling in the design. Claes was very taken with the catalogue's typeface, and asked me if I would do the whole alphabet for him, so I did. I cut it all out in pink paper and pasted it together’.

As a present, my sister in law Christel Marseille-Hoksbergen created a hand-sewn alphabet which I liked so much, I decided to turn it into a font and this is the result. Probably a fun font to use in scrapbooks or magazines about handmade things. As an addition to the christelLine font, Christel Hoksbergen created another hand sewn alphabet which I turned into a font. This time with filled characters.

I have always liked Weeping Willows, they sort of remind me of China. During my years as a tour guide, I spent a lot of time in China and I can tell you that the Chinese love weeping willows - they plant them everywhere! Weeping Willow was created using a Japanese brush pen (bought in China actually…). It comes with double letter ligatures and a bunch of swashes as well.

Brainstroke is a collection of twelve variations on a typeface. This release was supposed to be a much larger set, but due to a medical issue, where I recently suffered a stroke, I am releasing only those that I managed to complete. The name is a reminder to me to take care of my health.

Introducing Perfectly Nineties – a brand new serif with all the nostalgic vibes! I've started seeing classic, tightly spaced serifs of the 80s & 90s making a comeback, and wanted to create the perfect one for you too! Perfectly Nineties is a beautifully nostalgic upper and lowercase typeface that looks incredible in both large and small settings as a display and body text. It's gorgeous used on its own, or paired as you see above with Aguafina Script (free from Google Fonts: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Aguafina+Script ) One thing to note about Perfectly Nineties is the letter spacing. It was intentionally spaced for clean reading if you wanted to use it for body type, so I recommend setting the spacing a little tighter for display use (around -20 should do!).

Every time I bring my youngest son to his swimming lessons, I need to show my Covid Vaccination Pass; a QR code on my phone. I thought that I would be off the hook after I showed it the first time, but no, not at the swimming pool! It feels a bit like a bad comic book, so I decided to name this comic book style font Identity Check. Of course, I should have called it Covid Vaccination Check, but that is just too much and it probably won’t sell. Who wants a font called Covid?? ;-) Identity Check is a comic book style font. The glyphs are wider than I am used to (it seems I AM capable of learning new tricks), but the effect is rather nice. Identity Check comes with extensive language support, including Cyrillic and Vietnamese. Plus two sets of alternate glyphs, that cycle as you type.

Groovy started out as a prospective variant in the ‘Flashback’ series but very quickly established its own distinct appearance, especially with the lower case letters blending into the format so well. There wasn't any preconceived idea to design a retro looking font in principle, it simply evolved that way, but I do think it has several characteristics reminiscent of style genres from the '70s. It’s probably quite subliminal and like me, you may find yourself thinking, what does that remind me of? The double-entendre'd title is quite apt too, not merely for reasons of its outwardly retro appearance but also because of the considered, rounded elements forming the negative spaces throughout. The font also has something of a chameleon-like personality, being both adaptable and capable of having a trendy / fun appearance, or alternatively something solid and stylish, depending on the use, as demonstrated in the banner examples here.

Orthotopes is reminiscent of that ever-familiar 70s style sci-fi font whose name I cannot recall and probably doesn't look a thing like this anyway.

This font has the same uppercase and lowercase letters with some modifications on the uppercase letters. I included the modified letters to use however you like.

Nanquim is a versatile font, available in three sketchy options. At display sizes the line art is very eye-catching. At smaller sizes it turns out like textured faces. Always with a pleasant handmade feel. Nanquim characters were hand drawn with pen and India ink on film, like we use to do when preparing artwork for screenprint. Hope you enjoy!

Sunwind is not really made to write long copy. It is a font for shopsigns and short sentences that need that hot, sunny and windy touch. And that is how I got around to designing it: I saw some letters on a shopsign in Cannes when driving into town. I shouted at my son Julius: "Quick take a picture of that sign, the blue one." That's what he did, only he used the macro setting, so I had a very small sign but lots of nice background. Anyway I got the basic idea! Then I made a lot of sketches and this is what came out. I added a smallcaps set and I also made some initials as a rough version, so they look like written with a brush on heavygrain paper. Swinging that brush is yours truly Gert Wiescher

I wouldn't recommend that you use this font for massive text, or text written in CAPS ... but then again, go ahead and try - I even kerned all the capital letters ... just in case that you would do something so crazy! :) Dynamique is a kind of a "straight out of the highway" grid-font. But then again, not ... if you use the lowercase alone, you have this almost monospaced font - try starting every word with a capital letter, and let it end with the alternate ligature, your words suddenly got even more power! If you want to go lightspeed - then use the same technique, but only with the italic version!

This font family consists of 8 different fonts and 3288 glyphs and it supports hundreds of different languages thanks to the characters it contains.

No, I did not have a splinter in my hand when I came up with the name for this font. It sounded right, so I used it! Splinterhand is a script font made with an almost dried out marker pen. It comes with a whole bunch of diacritics and it can be used for just about anything.

Proudly Introducing ‘Royal Tropic‘ – An expressive, quick dry stroke, signature style brush script font. With multilingual support, ligatures, and an extra slanted style. Royal Tropic is great for when you want to grab attention, especially within print design; Packaging, branding, posters, book cover design, etc. The goal was to create a fast-flowing, legible script font with enough personality to take center stage and shine, and I think the end result has delivered exactly that! TIP: Through trial and error, I feel Royal Tropic works best with clean serif/sans-serif fonts. Any other 'handwritten' fonts can disturb the rough/clean contrast, taking with it some of the impact of your design.

Prushkov is the first typeface that I made. Its name comes from the town I lived in at the time. The design was inspired by both geometric typefaces like Futura, and didone fonts like Bodoni. Its aim (perhaps quite bold) is to blend high contrast with mathematical excellence. Prushkov will work well as a display font, both in uppercase and lowercase. It has a wide array of stylistic alternates for all of the capitals and some lowercase glyphs too.

I really like the Japanese language, as it has words that describe a whole world of meaning. Like Shoganai. It literally means: ‘It cannot be helped’. That’s life, get used to it. Shoganai sums up a lot of the Japanese culture and way of thinking: if things cannot be helped, then accept it and move on. Shoganai is a set of Brush fonts: a thinner, script font and a heavy display font. Use if for book covers, product packaging and more. If you can’t use it, then, well, Shoganai.
