Aegypti 7 is a digital revival of Font No.7 or Egyptian Narrow - a Soviet display face cast for hand composition. I settled on the 12pt version as a basis for my digital version, as larger sizes added too much contrast to an otherwise quite orderly slab serif. The Soviet Font No.7 itself was based on an older Semi-Egyptian narrow cut before the revolution.

Isara is a rough script written with a flat-nibbed marker, scanned and then carefully digitized to keep that spontaneous feeling.

fracaso is an experimental font and was inspired by abstract / cubism artworks. My initial goal was to made it have a rather surreal and fancy mood. I painted the glyphs with seamless strokes and achieved an unusual style by developing an individual form for each glyph. So, due to contrasting various letter height and form each word have a unique, catchy, surreal rhythm. You may want to have fracaso font if you need to make a design with an abstract, surreal look for music / art subject. Great fit for posters, covers, clothes prints, packaging, logos, and everything you want to grant a fancy artistic mood. What if Platt R. Spencer and Charles P. Zaner were born in mid-20th Century? What if they were fans of The Beatles or The Mamas & Papas? Beatle is what those masters would have made. Letters shouting for peace, like a true hippie does, with a lot of elegance. With Beatle I wanted to mix the delicacy of engrossers script with the exuberance of flower power. Horizon was inspired by the style of the lettering used in the original Star Trek TV series. Quite fittingly, this font was used 21 years later in the film Star Trek: Into Darkness. In keeping with the digital experimentation of the 90s, Horizon has a space-age look—with sharp, unexpected angles that were achieved sharply with digital tools. It was designed in 1992 by Bitstream staff designers.

Paramilitary JNL from Jeff Levine was modeled after a set of brass interlocking stencils and offers another choice in digital stencil typeface design.

Excessive photocopying, with extreme enlargements and reductions to magnify the imperfections, helped to rough the edges and give Not Sassure a non-digital quality.
