Spandau is one of the 12 boroughs of Berlin and, if you add Ballet, a New Romantic British band. It is also a very nice all caps art deco font. Not too soft, not too angular, just about right! Some upper case letters differ from their lower case kin. Comes with all the diacritics you'll need.

Tall, thin, grid, legible and handmade! What's not to like?! The font was made using a squared paper as a base for the lines. However, I managed to keep the free spirit of the handmade look, despite the guides. Play around with the 4 different versions of each letter and the swashes to make your text stand out!

The prolific hand lettering of Samuel Welo is showcased in his “Studio Handbook for Artists and Advertisers” (published in both 1927 and 1960). A thick and thin Art Deco design in the 1960 edition – somewhat reminiscent of Futura Black (but with significant differences) is now available as Sign Work Deco JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

I made Paper Sting using an inky pen. There is a great variation in the stroke width, which gives a very lively handmade feeling. Paper Sting comes in two versions: Regular and Stencil - mix them for cool realistic results. Of course there is multi-lingual support as well as contextual alternates, which means 5 different versions of each letter.

Saturator Serif FA is a younger brother of Saturator FA. It comes with upper and lower case letters and with diacritic characters for many Latin languages. Guzzles is a very legible font and has that great ‘unevenish’ look - making it a great typeface for packaging and books, and practically everything that has to with organic and creative projects. This typeface came out as a side idea while I was working on one logotype. Suddenly I came up with an idea of creating “tuned” version of the typeface, based on that logo. The “tuning” turned me in a completely different direction and in a few hours of haste I was looking at a completely different typeface. A few days later I made this font available for free, since it wasn't meant to be at all :-). A few months later, I saw my typeface used in the menu in one pizzeria. I was amazed and glad and happy and proud, all at the same time. Oh, by the way: the logo I was working on was of different style and even of another stem’s widths. So, this is truly a font of it’s own design. Naftalin has both Latin and Cyrillic sets, since it was used with both.

Presidio is a stylized version of the hand-lettered calligraphy typical of the Mission era of early California. This lettering was often unique to an individual hand, but the characters shared a common style, and had their roots in the Middle Ages when monks and scholars copied whole books one letter at a time. "Presidio" replicates this style with subtle variations in each character, giving the font its authentic charm.

Robert Trogman originally designed Buxom for Fotostar in 1975 with lettering from Herman Spinadel. In nautical folklore, the Flying Dutchman is a ship that can never go home and is doomed to sail the seas forever as a ghost ship. The story of the Dutchman appeared in print in the 1820s. With different versions written over the years, some date the legend to the 1640s or the early 1700s. The Flying Dutchman font is a revival of an 1876 font from MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan Co. The Truetype and OpenType formats include a larger extended character set with Central and Eastern European accented letters. Extra characters in this font are left and right pointing hands in place of the less than and greater than keys and a pirate flag is on the bracket keys. New to this style is the distressed version where the letters look like they've been hacked by a cutlass.

Internacional, inspired by the International Style, is a Latin American-flavored neo-grotesque sans serif typeface made with organic ingredients and sweetened with organic sugar and chocolate. Based loosely on Clarendon, Turpentine Kisses breaks all the rules of the classic serif fonts. It's jumpy and bouncy with a clear handmade look. It's playful yet legible, and full of personality. I've added 3 different versions of each lowercase letter, and they automatically cycle as you type. Or you can just select the one you prefer from the glyph menu.

The modern incidental, decorative and poster font that imitates the modern household handwriting or handwriting with a capillary or gel pen and rapidograph. In the two ChainLetter fonts all characters are made from chains links. ChainLetter uses smaller chain links than ChainLetterAlt and as a result is easier to read. Both are caps-only typefaces, but some of the letters on the lower-case keys differ from those on the upper-case keys.

Based on the logotype lettering for the Dutch magazine Geillustreerd Schildersblad in 1940, this devilishy different Deco font will add a bit of naive charm to any project it graces. Chumpsy is clumsy - I did my best to make an awkward and bouncy hand-written font that was funky, but still legible. I added 11 slightly different versions of each lowercase letter, which automatically cycle as you type, or you can manually choose the one that suits you the best.

Similar to date and numbering stamps, there once was manufactured rotary band stamps with different letter and number configurations that were used for various identification purposes. From a set of vintage bands acquired from a now-closed rubber stamp shop, Marking Device JNL replicates the serif typeface used on these devices.

The 1938 sheet music for the official Coast Guard Marching Song "Semper Paratus" "(Always Ready)" offered up a hand lettered title in a bold block style with rounded corners and an inline. This is now available as Stationer JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

Bornholm Tejn is named after a village »Tejn« on the only rocky island in Denmark »Bornholm« Bornholm Tejn Low is the lowercase variant of Bornholm Tejn, released in 2012, the first face in a series of rough stone cut typefaces, that shares proportions, but differs in any other aspect like different pieces of rock. It is a powerful face, but still very friendly. Good for very big sizes, but can be used for small texts, movie titles, cartoons … Bornholm Tejn Low has a large x-height which supports the heavy and black look of the typeface. It contains tabular and proportional old style and lining figures.

Conveyor Belt was designed for an environmental paper made from sugar cane waste called bagasse. The paper mill use conveyor belts to produce the paper from when the bagasse gets loaded to the finished paper product. This was the inspiration for this font. It has some alternatives to give options for different words linking different letters. This is a moving font and flowing.
