Mordings JNL is an odd-lot collection of images. These assorted dingbats are leftover art that never quite made it to one particular dingbat font category, but together comprise an eclectic assortment. Topics range from weather to vintage-style restaurant menu icons to decorative embellishments to an old-fashioned telephone dial.

The shapes of "Blattwerk" (german for leafage) are based on an abstract leaf. The geometrical sans serif font has several standard and decorative ligatures and will work best as a display typeface for logos, headlines and short texts. If it's at all possible to "Deco-ize" an Art Deco font even more, it's been done with Roney JNL. Named for one of the classic hotels built during the heyday of Miami Beach, this font is a stylized version of Jeff Levine's Metalet Modern; a design derived from an actual 1940s home movie titling set.

Inspired by an illustration of a large wave, I was fascinated that by using only lines and solid colors we as artists can depict the translucency and ever-changing movement of waves. I began by delicately sketching out all of the letters using graph paper and micron pens. My work always begins with traditional media.
