ITC Atelier Sans began as one of Curtis's renovations. His goal was to create a monoline design with Art Deco “sensibilities,” but without the geometric precision and relatively small x-height of faces like Futura or Kabel. Gentle curves and suggestions of serifs create a crisp, clean and open face that is at once sleek, sensuous and still affable. Available as a two-weight family with complementary italics, ITC Atelier Sans is another successful and usable revival from Nick Curtis.

Hokitika is a township in the West Coast Region of New Zealand's South Island. It has some amazing beaches, stunning scenery, but above all, it has Pounamu (greenstone or jade). This is THE place to buy a beautiful Maori greenstone pendant. Don't buy it for yourself, as it is supposed to bring bad luck. Hokitika font is a tall and thin all caps Art Deco typeface. The Luxx font was born in 2010 and in the 2013 has been redesigned. Luxx is based on a style of lettering often seen on Italian art deco posters and advertising of the 1930s. This font is very modern, and is inspired by the “velocitá-speed” of this artistic period. TheLuxx is perfect for when you want to use eye-catching big texts for anything from posters and retro-advertisements, and art, but it´s especially striking for printed projects.

HGB Memento was designed to replace 12 bronze plaques with the names of those who died in World War I. The 12 plaques were stolen in 2016. Stone tablets were made on which the original writing was engraved using sandblasting. Memento is therefore suitable for commemorative plaques and for texts of a sacred nature. Extremely short ascenders and descenders allow very narrow lines. The design language of the Memento comes from the 1920s with echoes of Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

Aglaia is an elegant geometric sans serif typeface that comes in three weights. Designed in part inspired by Art Deco, but with a modern minimalist approach that makes it a versatile and excellent contemporary display font for titles, editorials and short texts. Faithfully reproduced from my father’s design drawings made at The Municipal School of Arts and Crafts, Wolverhampton in 1939. Strong nostalgic influences of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. What caught my eye was the consistency with which each particular character was formed: every ‘R’ like every other, every ‘S’ the same. Tight letter spacing and loose word spacing characterised his titling but he didn’t trust himself to print without first ruling guidelines, a hint of which remain in this font.

2030 font is inspired by the typography of the early 20th century, the Futura of Paul Reener, Cassandre and Charles Loupot’s works and, on a broader level by modernism and art déco mouvements. Geometric, with classicals proportions, this typefaces is a re-interpretation, in a actual form, of the alphabets from this period. The lines are straight, but the letters are easy to read and nice to watch thanks to optical corrections. Build with 9 weights of 700 glyphs, italics and small caps.

Palembang is the second largest city on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It is also one of the oldest cities in Indonesie and used to be the capital of the powerful Buddhist Kingdom of Srivijaya. After finishing Semarang and Semarang Kolonial fonts, I sort of stayed in the Indonesian mood and named this font Palembang. It is a narrow, tall, all caps Art Deco typeface and would be most suited for headlines, cards, headers and luxury packaging. Palembang comes with royal language support.

Decour Soft is the rounded-edged version of Decour. It is a slab serif humanist low contrast typeface. The overall design also features strong curves, making it a very friendly face. The font retains the original elegant features of Decour—based on Art Deco design—such as high contrast between upper and lower case characters. Decour Soft is a suitable font for logotypes and packaging. Its design also allows it to be used with certain elegance in book titles and magazines subheadings.

Loose and irregular, Slowhand is an easy display face to implement.

Cotillion is an original design Jim Rimmer finished just before the turn of the century. Alongside its evidence of Jim's nostalgia at the deco type designs he was exposed to as a child, it distinctly shows a type designer who has become very comfortable with that rarest of design abilities: Bringing efficient typographic solutions to what is essentially a calligraphic endeavour. This design has all the elements of what made a traditional deco typeface display unmistakable elegance and luxury: The expressively low x-height, the precisely calculated upwards comfort and reserved grace of the vertical metrics, the subtle fusion of calligraphic ornamentation and clean minimalist type technique, and the unique indentity of the original lowercase flow. Cotillion was refined and remastered in 2012 to include a weath of aesthetic and functionality improvements. This Cotillion Pro set includes small caps, true italics, ligatures, seven types of figures, automatic fractions, extended Latin language support, stylistic alternates that include lowercase serif angle options, and plenty of extra OpenType features like caps-to-small-caps substitution, case-sensitive positioning, ordinals, and extended class-based kerning. At over 780 characters, each of the Cotillion Pro fonts is the equivalent of three fonts in one.

Parto Font family is designed by Naghi Naghashian. This Font is developed on the basis of specific research and analysis on Arabic characters and definition of their structure. This innovation is a contribution to modernization of Arabic typography, giving the font design of Arabic letters real typographic arrangement and providing more typographic flexibility. It enables, moreover, the use of this typeface for decorative headlines. This step was necessary after more than two hundred years of relative stagnation in Arabic font design. Parto supports Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages. Parto Font is available in Regular and Bold. Parto design fulfills the following needs: A Explicitly crafted for use in electronic media fulfills the demands of electronic communication. Parto is not based on any pre-digital typefaces. It is not a revival. Rather, its forms were created with today’s technology in mind. B Suitability for multiple applications. Gives the widest potential acceptability. C Extreme legibility not only in small sizes, but also when the type is filtered or skewed, e.g., in Photoshop or Illustrator. This typeface offers a fine balance between calligraphic tradition and the contemporary sans serif aesthetic now common in Latin typography.

CA Capoli is a fine script typeface with a vintage touch. Perfect for illustrative titles or logotypes. It comes in two styles, Regular and Stroke. The inspiration came during our trip to Italy, where we took a short rest in a bar during a hot day. We discovered a simple ceramic ashtray on the table. The word “Nido” was inscribed in a typeface that looked like it dated back to the 1950s. We made some investigations about the word, its meaning and origin but it still remains a big mystery. Was it the name of a hotel or a restaurant or some vintage Italian cigarettes? We don’t know. We were so amazed about the design of the logo that we decided to create a typeface out of it. A sophisticated endeavor because we just had four letters. How could the rest of the letters – if it ever existed – have looked like? Our hypothesis is CA Capoli. A typeface with a full Central European character set and some nice alternative letters to chose from. When we thought about “Nido” and its possible derivation of hotel business, we felt like creating a small side project for this typeface, a brand for a fictional hotel called Hotel Capoli with business cards, letterheads, a reception book, key fobs and embroidered patches for the service dress of the hotel service stuff. The Hotel Capoli is located at the wonderful beach of Cape Arcona on the fictional country of Arcona Islands where our type foundry is located.

Starx is a variable display typeface with angular lines, offering a futuristic and dynamic aesthetic. It consists of three axes: angular, rounded, and slanted. The bold version embodies a strong and high-tech expression, while the italic and rounded versions convey a dynamic, sporty, and futuristic impact.

TurvyTopsy offers all the fun of delightful hand-drawn irregularity, captured in a typeface. Designing this was a wonderful exercise in ignoring all the rules of precise geometric construction to which we normally work. These irregular forms somehow achieve a delightful character & legibility all of their own.
