The Zigfrid family was made after my visit to Deutschland and impression of old typography on the streets of Berlin. Zigfrid contains 5 different styles with a geometric, “trendlist” feel.

Based on the typeface Sculpture, designed by Charles Allen in the 1960s for Photolettering, this font is an intriguing exercise in implicit letterforms, using cast shadows to suggest, rather than delineate. Alarionsa - font with straight horizontal serifs, vertical serifs have a slight angle of inclination. Lowercase letters are designed with somewhat inflated x-height. Perfect for both creating headlines and regular text.

Amulet evolved after a trip to Dublin, Ireland. It has a Celtic calligraphic influence which must have subconsciously come from looking at ancient manuscripts and the Book of Kells in Trinity College.

An early drawing tablet was largely responsible for the LeakorLeach typefaces. They resemble hand lettering using cake icing or done with an ink pen that leaves lots of ink blobs or ink blots. The family has two widths, plain and condensed, and in addition to each having an oblique style, each also has a leftward-inclined style. Independence Script, designed by Alan Meeks and top British calligrapher Satwinder Sehmi, is an old style calligraphic handwritten script. The name is derived from the Declaration of Independence of which the font bears a slight resemblance.

The Declaration of Independence was authored by Thomas Jefferson, but his is not the classic handwriting on the engrossed copies familiar to most Americans. That belonged to Timothy Matlack, an early patriot who fought in the Revolution, sat as prosecutor at Benedict Arnold’s court martial, and also penned copies of a number of documents for then-General George Washington. Matlack’s script was compact but legible, perfect for the first and most famous of American documents. Now you, too, can write that way. Please note: The font does not include any of the signatures from the Declaration of Independence.

One in the series of fonts celebrating the Halcyon Days of Handlettering. Strongs Draughtsman is a monoline font that evokes the sensibilities of the early twentieth century. Based on a font called "architects' pen strokes" as delineated by Lawrence and Charles Strong in their The Art of Show Card Writing from 1922. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.
