Werdet Script is a calligraphic typeface, inspired by the samples of the calligraphy “Batarde” created the first half of the 19th century by the French calligrapher Père Werdet. Minora is a contemporary sans serif type family of three weights. Glyphs with open, plain and reduced forms are attributes of Minora. Several OpenType features allow different figure sets, fractions and more. Minora had its beginning in 2007 during Alex Meier’s Typedesign study (CAS Typedesign) at the ZHdK in Zurich (Switzerland). After graduation, Alex Meier continued working on this project in a shared studio with his former fellow student Dominique Kerber . He completed this fully developed font in April 2011.

Taking inspiration from an attempt to marry art with industry of Bauhaus (1919), Brueul Grotesk is classic and straightforward, cutting back superfluous elements. A Sans Serif type, it’s like a design from the Machine Age. It comes in A and B sets to offer end variations—choose the bulbous terminals set if you need a less stern impression. It is then suitable for diverse demands. Brueul Grotesk has A and B sets with 16 weights each, giving you an all-purpose usage typeface.

Italian type designer Maurizio Osti and American type designer Jane Patterson created this display FontFont in 2003. “Tsubu” (つぶ) means something small and round, like a fruit seed or a grain of rice in Japanese. All characters are completely geometric, consisting of no more than 5 x 12 dots, with a few exceptions. And proportional and monospace styles are available. It is recommended that letter spacing be set to 0 to maintain dot pitch. When the line height is set to 100%, the dot pitch is aligned horizontally and vertically, resulting in a beautiful geometric display.

Quench is a fun and unique typeface from designer Hannes von Döhren. It is unmistakably characterized by its strong contrast of inside and outside forms. The counters are nearly straight and have many right angles. Conversely, the outside curves are smooth and rounded making them soft and almost bubbly. The italics have juicy curves reminiscent of brush lettering. Linotype Bariton is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from contestants of Linotype's International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. Designer Alexei Chekulayev designed his font in one weight to mirror the Zeitgeist of the early 1930s. The characters of this extremely bold font are based on the form of a rectangle though its rounded edges soften its look a bit. Linotype Bariton should be used only in larger point sizes in headlines which should really catch the eye.

Narziss is a very popular display typeface. People really love the thin hairlines and the swirls. But the basic idea is so strong that I decided to create a text version. The swirls of the display do not work in small sizes but the alternative drops do. So for each weight of Narziss Text, there is a Regular, an Italic and a Drops version. Narziss Text is ideal for fashion magazines, Jewelry or perfumes and may be used in conjunction with Narziss.
