This is our first experience of creating serif fonts. It resulted in a modern slab serif family designed with symmetrical bracketed serifs for uprights and cursive serifs for Italics. Crafted with low contrast strokes, it makes this font versatile and can be used for text and printing. Counte contains many International diacritics and OpenType Features. It consists of 9 weight, going from Thin to Black with matching italics.

The typeface Ruano was inspired from “Lettera cancelleresca formata” by the Vatican calligrapher Ferdinando Ruano, carved and cast in 1926 by Nebiolo of Turin on the advice of Raffaello Bertieri who designed the capital letters and numbers, missing in the original. The difficulty of the design of this chancery font lies in its original vertical layout, bending the calligraphic harmonies to the Gothic style, thus distinguishing it from contemporary cursive alphabets.

Omorphia is a decorative serif font inspired by Sephardic square type - the only Hebrew style with one vertical serif for each letter. Clarence is a modern, original typeface that has been designed to have a warm and slightly antiquated feel. It is slightly too idiosyncratic for great lengths of continuous text but does work very well at both small and display sizes. The serif structure takes some inspiration from architectural buttresses (a structure built against a wall to provide support or reinforcement). The serifs only protrude a small way from the body of the letter, which serves to ground the letter and, because the serifs bracket (the curve) joins the vertical at a relatively great distance from the tip of the serif, it remains subtle. The italic variant draws on the roman but has a more pronounced and curvier serif structure, analogous to the cursive element expected of an italic. This serif structure is present throughout the italic, even extending into the uppercase, making it more of a true italic than the commonplace sloped roman.

Carelia is a modern multilingual (including cyrillic) serif family with classic forms, enhanced by extended OpenType features. It is well suited for all sorts of design - starting from web, to editorial and branding. Its stylistic alternates, swashes and ligatures (more 1200 glyphs in each font) will make your design even more stylized and unique. Space Mode is a multi-weighted typeface, sent back in time from the distant future. Forward-looking typeface designers often predict a reductive future where Latin letterforms have become increasingly modularized and simplified, or random bits have mysteriously gone missing. Thankfully, this is not the case, and typography has instead flourished and evolved. New forms have appeared, and some revived from historical references. A more complex drawing model has arisen that seems to add new curves in a effort to tame the strange diagonals that appear in the final quarter of the alphabet.

Inspired by the heuristic typography of the Concrete Poetry movement, Solidus is a hardworking and unobtrusive sans in the Neo-grotesque style. Solidus is available in nine distinctive weights from wafer-thin Hairline to a hefty Black, each with accompanying italics. Typical of the Neo-grotesque style the italics are slanted in construction and have the same advance width as the uprights.

Viareggio is a city in Northern Tuscany, Italy. Viareggio is famous for its carnival and its mascot, the clown Burlamacco (designed by Uberto Bonetti in 1930). Viareggio font was based on the hand lettering found on a 1931 poster, advertising the carnival. Viareggio font comes with extensive language support.

Part of the extended Rahere typeface family, Rahere Slab is a humanist slab serif (or Egyptian) in six weights from light to extra bold with corresponding italics. Rahere Slab – like its sibling Rahere Sans – features subtle detailing, giving the typeface a distinctive, warm appearance without distracting the reader. Legible at large and small sizes, Rahere Slab is a versatile, workhorse typeface that is suitable for a wide range of applications such as information signage, packaging, annual reports, advertising, brochures, catalogues, screen text and visual identities. Slab serifs are ideal for projects that need to convey a sense of authority tempered with diplomacy or messages that just need some serious oomph – and Rahere is a great slab for the job. The italic lowercase is more cursive and expressive than the roman and when they’re used together it displays enough character to create emphasis without looking out of place while harmonising admirably. Set on its own (for example, pull-out quotes), the italic exudes a charm that draws attention to the text. The character set covers most European languages plus Vietnamese. Each weight contains lining & non-aligning numerals in both proportional & tabular spacing. The tabular numerals share the same width across all weights and styles (matching Rahere Sans too) – indispensable for financial tables in annual reports. If a companion sans serif is needed, Rahere Sans is the perfect partner. They are both part of the extended Rahere typeface family and have been designed to complement each other beautifully. The typeface is named after Rahere, a 12th-century Anglo-Norman priest, who founded the Priory of the Hospital of St Bartholomew, London in 1123. In 2007 I was successfully treated at Barts for relapsed testicular cancer so I’m indebted to all the doctors, nurses and support staff who work there. A special shout out to Orchid Cancer – a UK charity that helps men affected by cancer – who funded the research for my treatment.

Occidental Tourist JNL is based on a set of die-cut cardboard letters used by teachers. They were primarily found on classroom bulletin boards or felt boards. The font's name is a pun on the movie The Accidental Tourist.

Colmena (means Beehive in Spanish) features soft viscous shapes and high contrast that resemble bees and honey. The font was entered into TypeArt Contest in 2005 under the name "FD_Harvey". Suitable for display purposes especially in books for children.

I originally wanted to call this font Instant Pudding. When I was a kid, we sometimes had instant pudding (the ‘add cold milk and rest in the fridge’ kind) for dessert. My brother and I loved the stuff, especially when some of the pudding powder had not dissolved and had turned into brightly coloured speckles! But this font, alas, did not ‘feel’ like instant pudding, so I hunted the internet for other, more obscure, puddings. I found Spoonbread. Apparently it is a pudding-like Southern American dish, made from cornmeal. I have never tasted it, nor do I particularly like corn (most of it is GMO anyway), but the font and the name became friends. And who am I to tear this beautiful relationship asunder? Spoonbread - use it for your packaging, your books, your posters and your games. And when you make Spoonbread, use organic cornmeal!
