Orto is a type family of sans serif fonts in eight weights. It's a humanist typeface with real cursive, containing both Roman and Italic styles. The letters are designed to look good on screen, they have a bit narrower proportions and simple shapes. Their structure is based on flat horizontal and vertical strokes, which are emphasized wherever possible. That’s where the name comes from: Orto is an abbreviation of the word orthogonal. Thanks to its narrow width, the typeface is less space-consuming and adapts well to the screens of smaller devices. It is legible in small sizes, thanks to the larger x-height. The characteristic details, like bent ends of diagonal strokes, stand out when used in larger sizes. Orto can be used equally good in print and its overall neutral look fits different contexts. Khatt tries to mimic the concept behind the meaning of the Arabic word Khatt: a straight horizontal line. The word Khatt is also the word for calligraphy in the Arabic language. Even though Khatt is a cursive style font it offers clearly distinguished and visually unified letter shapes in every position of a word. Khatt supports all Arabetic scripts covered by Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks, including support for Quranic texts. It comes with five weights, regular, medium, bold, light, and ultra-light. Each weight has normal and left-slanted “italic” styles. The script design of this font family follows the Arabetics Mutamathil Taqlidi style and utilizes varying x-heights. Bold Display Sans JNL is loosely based on one of the classic alphabets found within a Speedball Lettering Textbook of the 1940s; itself called "Bold Display". The original featured a stippled texture and inline curves placed in random patterns throughout the letters. This more simplified, all-caps version is for titling requirements where a strong, yet casual design is needed.

The Grimm family is a blackletter inspired graffiti style built for headline and display. Durazno de Chile are cursive fonts based on Chilean school script. It can be written in Aymara, Mapuche and Rapa Nui from Chile. It can also be written in Dutch, Maltese, and other languages. This font family is cute. The style is wide and rounded. It has wide and open loops. The strokes are drawn with a round cap tool, with no contrast. It is cursive and connected. The form is upright because upright is the Chilean script standard. It is easy to read in Chile. Parts A have capitals with high starts. Parts B have capitals with low starts. Ecliptica is an extended family of five very condensed typefaces in a single bold weight. The creation of Australian designer Robert Bell. Ecliptica has a Sans, a Semi-Serif, a Serif and a single Cursive that can be used with any of the other three styles. As an added bonus, Robert also designed a modern Blackletter companion. The Ecliptica family is an unusual layout of styles and all work equally well with one another. The OpenType versions of the Ecliptica fonts support an extended Latin character set that includes a full array of fractions as well as additional ligatures. The Sans and Cursive fonts contain some cap and lowercase alternates.

The curves are vintage and the serifs are big. They're so big that for years I never had the courage to tackle this intimidating font. But when fellow signmaker Frank Smith laid the groundwork for this intriguing typeface by Frank H. Atkinson, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to take it from paper to keyboard. After all, at over 100 years old, I felt this alphabet had never been given a proper, digital treatment. So how did this face survive the last century? Well, for those who don't know the history, it survived in Atkinson's ubiquitous book, Sign Painting, published first in 1908, the generational standard for anyone interested in sign-related type design. The layouts and lettering treatments in this book have influenced countless designers for more than a hundred years, but most haunting to me was this strange face with the big serifs. Well, I'm haunted no more. The work is done, the kerning is complete, and nothing but a mouse-click separates a very old idea from the modern world. It's wide, it's big, and with those crazy serifs, it is definitely eccentric-!!!

A personalized cursive written with the pointed brush The strange name of this font means nothing other than ”brush,“ but only the Dutch understand it. The typeface is spirited, amusing and flashy. I made the handwritten original of DeBorstel Brush quickly and without interruption with a pointed brush. In the capitals, DeBorstel Brush appears to be almost too balanced for handwriting. In contrast, the lower case letters are intentionally very individual and uneven. A bit more life is added to the typeface with ligatures activated which are constructed with alternative letter forms — and as a result, a number of problematic letter-combinations are improved. And if this typeface is still not lively enough for you, the additional alternative character forms a e g i j l n o s t u z are available with the Open Type-Function ”Discretional Ligatures“. Anbar is an Arabetic typeface design with visually connected glyphs, named after the historical Iraqi province Anbar, which is traditionally believed to be the birthplace of the earliest Arabic script, Jazm. It follows the guidelines of the Mutamathil Taqlidi type style with one glyph for every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter, as defined in Unicode Standards, and one additional final form glyph for each Arabic letter that can connect with other letters from both sides in traditional cursive Arabic strings. Anbar employs variable x-height values. It includes all required Lam-Alif ligatures and selected marks. Tatweel (or Kashida) glyph is a zero width space. Keying it before any glyph will display that glyph isolated form, if desired. Keying Tatweel before Alif Lam Lam Ha will display the Allah ligature. Anbar typeface family includes both Arabic and Arabic-Indic numerals; all required diacritic marks, in addition to Standard English keyboard punctuations and major currency symbols. Anbar is available in regular and italic (slated to the left) styles.

Ark is a combination monogram set based on the ATF Virkotype design. By combining variously shaped characters, you can produce initials within an oval frame. Just select a left-hand letter, a center letter, and a right-hand letter. Then place all three on an oval frame of your choice. Great for stationery and company logos. Aspen is a refreshing and resilient typeface for text of any kind. Functional but not faceless, Aspen derives a very distinctive character from an unusual pedigree. It is loosely influenced by early American and European grotesques, but with more warmth and improved legibility. And where these historical models were rigid and bulky, Aspen’s curves have a gentle sway that makes for very comfortable reading.
