High Cut came about by this found object I stumbled upon, while exploring an abandoned building, which had this word "High" cut out of it in a similar stencil design. I thought it would be a fun challenge to create an entire typeface inspired by this found object. Enjoy this new stencil typeface!

Handy Cut is an experimental project inspired by paper cutting only using fingers, designed by Paty Bean from south Chilean farm. It includes dingbats and alternate characters to play with in expressive and irregular short texts.

I made Cut Along by stealing some red cardboard from my kids (red, because they didn’t have any black…) and cutting out the glyphs one by one with a pair of scissors. I then pasted the shapes onto white paper, scanned them and turned them into a font. Cut Along is a very nice font for ads, book covers, packaging and children’s books. Enjoy!

An old Art Nouveau typeface named "Daphne" provided the inspiration for this decidely different font. This version is upright, but the linocut treatment employed visually suggests the slight rightward slant of the original typeface. Bold, unusual and distinctive. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Poster Cut Neue is a hand-drawn, rough display family. With some retro grotesque sans serif inspiration, the characters give an informal and active look and feel. The imperfections keep it casual but it is still legible. Playing around with a previous design, Jeff Levine came up with Cut Paper Stencil JNL, a typeface with both an Art Deco flair and the look of letters made from cut paper.

A charming series of 26 holiday “type warmers” based on the works of Carl S. Junge for the Barnhart Brothers & Spindler type foundry in the 1920s. Single-color cuts are in the uppercase positions, while 13 of the cuts suitable for two-color usage occupy the lowercase in adjacent pairs; e.g., a and b, c and d, and so on.
