Côte is a display monospace handwriting font. The typeface is a distinct hand drawn font using a felt marker. The Côte name is derived from the French word meaning "coast" and is also used to describe winemaking vineyards and regions throughout France. One of the most popular regions in the south of France is the French Riviera also known as the Côte d'Azur. Wittingau is the original German expression for “Třeboň”, which is a beautiful town near my studio in South Bohemia. I love it for its calm and inspiring atmosphere and rich cultural past dating from the 12th century. The present typeface family is released as homage to Třeboň in the style of its greatest glory – Gothic Revival with classicistic decorativeness. Wittingau is excellent for music covers, book and catalogue jackets, invitations and posters. Contains many ornaments for creating decorative wallpapers.
