I love markets, especially the farmer’s markets with fresh produce and home made cheese. Too bad I need to travel a long way to get to one, as there is only a ‘regular’ market in my hometown - you know, with cheap duvets, ‘local’ fruit like bananas and a guy selling books about the end of times. I thought it would be great to create a font family you could actually use on a market. Hence Market Square. Market Square consists of 4 different fonts (each with its own Italic style), ranging from a fat marker font to a thin, squarish font. Each of them oozes freshness and authenticity and they were designed to complement each other. The cherry on top is the cute doodle font, loaded with fresh produce and seafood - just like you’d see on a Market Square.

Marons is my first font release of 2020. I created Marons from the initial sketch to the digital process and until it was released it took less than 2 months after I launched Black Quality. Marons is an elegant font that I combined from script and serif fonts, thus creating a unique and bold impression. Each Marons letter also has an additional alternate glyph and many variations of swash options, so you can use this font to create logo designs, header texts, t-shirt designs, YouTube cover texts, wedding designs, and others. Voluta Script is the work of Austrian designer Viktor Solt, created for use in a guide to the Austrian Gallery at Castle Belvedere. A volute (Latin voluta") is a spiral or scroll-shaped ornament used in the Baroque architecture of Castle Belvedere, similar to the swashes in this typeface. The castle was the historic residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, one of the great military commanders of the 18th century and a prominent figure in Austrian history. When asked to create a typeface based on the calligraphy of the period to illustrate Eugene's epic, Solt turned for inspiration to Kurrent writing, a cursive blackletter style. Solt created a hybrid style that embodies the rhythm and basic forms of its ancestors, with large capitals, dark vertical strokes, and flourished beginning and ending characters. The typeface was designed to be used in sizes of 24 points and greater. Voluta Script allows designers to evoke the Baroque era or to lend a hint of majestic grace to contemporary typesetting."
