We have created this family inspired from the set of well known Auriol fonts used by the French popular "cheerful" satirical magazine Fantasio (1906-1948). The present version contains Normal, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic styles, in use for texts, plus narrow titlings and normal outlined with upper and lower case, both in use for titles. This family may be used together with 1906 French News, 1906 Titrage and 1890 Notice.

An image spotted in an online auction online of a 1940 Milton Bradley child's activity set consisting of wooden letters formed the basis for School Activities JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. Library Book Initials JNL was modeled from examples of Sidney Gaunt's Publicity Initials; originally sold in metal type by Barnhart Brothers and Spindler as a companion to the Publicity Gothic typeface. This version of Goudy Text is based on drawings from which Frederic Goudy based his Goudy Text typeface. However, there is a big difference between his original drawings (in The Alphabet and Elements of Lettering) and the subsequent metal type version, and my version maintains the greater warmth (and irregularities) of the original drawings. Goudy's Lombardy caps look especially nice when used as initial capitals with Goudy Text.

Seasons Greetings is intended to bring Christmas cheer. It has a very limited character set, with all the letters being lower-case. One set of letters is white on black Christmas balls, while the other is black on white Christmas balls. The lower-case letters can be layered on top of the upper-case letters to give bi-colored lettering. The letters on the Christmas ornaments are from the typeface Cuthbert.

This is the first of several Eastern fonts I have created and is the prize of the collection. The Pravoslavnie font is highly decorative, with a more complicated letter ‘a’ and a series of flourishes substituting for punctuation. Like its sister font, Pravoslavnie 3 is highly decorative. It differs from the first version of this font, as it has a less decorative ‘a,’ full punctuation marks, and less ornate number forms.

The display typeface that is based on the shapes of traditional Chinese hieroglyphic characters. Designing the font for imitations in the Chinese style the author nevertheless demonstrates serious attitude and thoroughness using the table of keys of the regular Kaishu script.
