CyberNippon is a unique latin script font that references Japanese and Cyberpunk motifs. Atlan—a Latin ‘spin-off’ of classic geometric sans typefaces. One design sparks another. As Alejandro Paul experimented with the strokes and curves of the monoline script Business Penmanship, he discovered interesting new forms and shapes that didn't fit the Spencerian theme of that typeface. These forms simmered in Ale’s subconscious over the next three years, during which time he visited New York City, pored over rare type specimen books in the New York Public Library, and explored Brooklyn’s neighborhoods. Brownstone, the face born from these explorations, is an original 21st-century design, yet one subtly infused with historical and cultural references -- keen observers might spot influences from decorative typefaces of 19th-century foundries. And just as faces from that era were influenced by contemporary architecture, the frames included with Brownstone echo the ornate iron railings of Park Slope’s row houses. (There’s also a slight 1960s vibe to Brownstone, of novelty swash-sans photocompositing faces, that can be played up at your discretion.) Influences aside, Brownstone has broad appeal to modern audiences. This is a large group of typefaces inspired by those borders and patterns you see going across documents from the Middle Ages and Medieval times, eventually becoming this collection of fonts where you can scroll various repeating patterns across a page, for example. You can get a repeating pattern that scrolls seamlessly by repeating the same letter. The default text displaying on the web-page is bbbbbbbb, for example. There's over 2 dozen basic styles, and each style has 52 designs within it, using the characters Upper Case A - Z and lower case a - z, with the lower case being the negative/reverse colour of the Upper Case version, it will be the corresponding design just reverse coloured and with an edging strip. There's also a space - but nothing else. The styles in these fonts usually have groups of six characters (A to F, G to L, M to R, S to X), and where the second group is a variation on the first - usually thicker lines - and the third grouping is another variation on that, usually thicker lines again, making the first 24 letters. (Sometimes there's three groups of eight characters). The pattern within a group normally starts off plain then gets busier as it progresses - such as there'd be a more complex pattern of circles and diamonds as you go through the letters. Then the letters Y & Z are somewhat different to the rest. There's four versions starting with Z, and they're a little bit different, and they're grouped in fives - getting bolder as you progress through the letters, but with similar patterns within each group of 5, and that makes the first 25 characters. The letter Z character is extra busy. Again, lower case is the reverse colour of the Upper Case. Mostly you can get patterns and borders that combine seamlessly by using letters within the same group of 6 or 8 (like maybe abdcedcb). There are a few occasions when that doesn't work out, because there may be circles or diamonds at the sides of the letters that don't match up with another letter that has a different pattern at the side. But you can create a pattern with the exact level of complexity you want perfectly easily. You can see examples of this in the poster images. Neighbouring letters without embellishments at the sides of the letters will usually fit together. Have fun with it, that's what it's there for. aah yes fonts

Thurbrooke is an early 20th century inspired display family, offering two sizes of Roman capitals. Five typefaces are offered in the Thurbrooke family. The Regular face is shaded in horizontally engraved lines and suggests something of vintage advertising captions. During the turbulent era of the 1960s, the youth of America found various ways to protest against "The Establishment". Whether it was campus unrest, protest songs, sit-ins or other methods, the message was the counter-culture movement. Arising from this disenchantment with traditional social standards, a small but effective means of protest arose that made no sound, yet spoke volumes - the pin button. Statements against the war in Vietnam, free love, drug use and other messages popped up on little metal discs pinned to tee shirts, suspenders, head band and hats. Sixties Pin Buttons JNL recreates twenty-six of these messages in both white on black (upper case keys) and black on white (lower case keys). Blank buttons in both white and black are found on the parenthesis keys.

An original script font designed by Victor Kharyk and licensed by ParaType in 2006. Based on Ukrainian Skoropis (fast handwriting) of 16-17th centuries. The font was named after Ukrainian Getman Bogdan Khmelnitsky, because the main sources and inspirations for the project were taken from collection of handwriting Universals (decrees) of that time -- the middle of 17th century. The shape of letters imitates flat nib quill handwriting with stress, bringing them informal liveliness. The Bogdan font character set contains Cyrillic, Old Slavonic , Glagolitic, Latin and Greek alphabets in two variants: Rejestrowy (Regular) and Siczowy (Alternate). The font is for use in display typography, but can work quite well for short text setting. Bogdan type is well suited for historical and cultural texts associated with Europe of 15-17th centuries

The first Grippo sketches were done in the 1980s, but only now does it see the light of day as a complete series of interchangeable, layerable fonts. The original single-font concept was simple enough: Double the stems so they become sturdy handles. But then we elected to add more playfulness and versatility to the idea. By separating the main idea’s layers and producing them as individual fonts, layerability is achieved, and endless possibilities of play and variation arise. In 2D or 3D, colourful or demure, in titling or as initials, Grippo is a great eye-catcher that emphasizes the big fun aspect of your design.
