Crillee is a family of our styles that was originally produced by Letraset. In 1980, Dick Jones designed Crillee Italic. Jones also designed the family's second style, Crillee Extra Bold Italic, in 1981. Peter O'Donnell designed Crillee Bold Italic in 1986. The fourth style, Crillee Italic Inline Shadow, was completed by Vince Whitlock. At the time of Crillee's development, Jones, O'Donnell, and Whitlock were all employees of the Letraset Type Studio. Crillee's slight lean to the right and geometric forms create a feeling of power and speed. Crillee should be spaced closely in word settings and is perfect for anything which should have a cool, modern appearance.

Core Sans CR family is a rounded version of Core Sans C; a part of the Core Sans Series, such as Core Sans N, Core Sans M, Core Sans E, Core Sans A, Core Sans D, Core Sans G, Core Sans R and Core Sans B. Gardner Sans is a humanist sans serif with a range of weights, italics, small caps stylistics alternates and a set of decorative ornaments. The light and regular faces work at smaller sizes and the heavier weights are good for display lettering. It is inspired by a few historical sources including Stephenson Blakes' Granby, Gill Sans, as well as some old hand-done lettering for sales tickets. The name (and the basis for the small caps) derives in-particular from the Roy Gardner collection of sales tickets from early 20th century that can be found on spitalfieldslife.com The heavier weights were particularly influenced by a later cut of Gill Sans, Extra Bold 321. The italic is more of a contemporary mix of humanist styles.

Buddy is the new companion sans for Contenu, the book font family designed for my book on font design design. Originally, I called it Compagnon, but that seemed to pompous. Then I called it Aide, but that was too formal and dry. It's a loose, free, easy to read sans, so when my wife suggested Buddy, it clicked. This is the 4-font Buddy family of Regular, Italic, Bold, & Bold Italic. I made a new, more limited feature set for these fonts due to their designed usage, but there are still small caps, small cap figures, oldstyle figures, numerators, and denominators. The bold is closer to a black, and the italics are only slightly slanted obliques. If you need a strong black in caps, use the small caps of the bold.

The Waldorfschrift family was created in digital form in the years 1993-1994 by Joachim Frank, inspired by the naturally organic letters from the anthroposophical movement of the 20th century of Rudolf Steiner . In nature there are no right angles, straight lines or complete uniformity, but instead round corners, varying thicknesses and all kinds of variability. An old set of brass stencils spotted for sale on eBay were the inspiration for this font from Jeff Levine. Redrawn completely from scratch, Jeff retained the narrow "M" and angled corners found in the original.
