The inspiration for designing this font was our company logo, that we created first. The design is influenced by a typeface called Din. The main characteristic and features are clean, minimalistic, geometric. Young playful companies and clients could definitely use this font for their branding.

Heartsome is a ‘forgotten’ word. It was mostly used in Scotland and it means: ‘giving cheer, spirit or courage’. I had never heard of it, but I thought it deserved a second chance, so I named this font Heartsome! Heartsome is a handmade Didone; I used a brand new bottle of Chinese ink and a brand new synthetic pencil to paint the glyphs. Brand new, because all of my drawing materials seem to have evaporated when we moved into our new house… A synthetic brush, because I don’t want animals to suffer because I feel the need to create fonts.

A typeface inspired by the old computer games of the 1980s.

‘Skiart Serif Mini’ is now available online. Originally inspired by the san serif font ‘Skia’ by Mathew Carter for Apple. ‘Skiart’ was designed to feel more like a serifed font, but without any serifs. It took a step between sans serif and serif fonts. Next on the path towards a serif font comes Skiart Serif Mini, with tiny serifs added. This is a true serif font, all be it on the small side. It remains fully readable and feels as clean and normal as any of the best body copy serifs, and yet still has the strong solid bones of all the other Skiart font familys. If compared to one of the more commonly used serifs like ‘Times New Roman’, the ‘Skiart Serif Mini’ lowercase is more open with a taller x-height, increasing its readability and friendliness. The serifs are smaller and less distracting. They are not pretending to be ligatures. Where ‘Times’ makes its p q b d forms out of a barely touching oval and stem, the ‘Serif Mini’ forms are much more firmly attached, appearing clearly as single letters. The standard setting for the g’s are round single storied, (the italic a’s are also), feeling warmer and more inviting in the ‘Serif Mini’ font. Much more friendly than the stuffy double storied versions in fonts such as ‘Times’ etc.

Halfroy is our answer to generic geometric sans trends exploding nowadays who creates sameness. We found that our city geographic consist of steep slope like waves with sharp peaks and surrounded by small and third highest mountains peak on our country. From then on we begin visualize and applied on few letters. Take a look on our 'O', 'f', 's' letters, its like a stone carved letters. Its hard edges and soft edges outline clearly draws from our inspiration source. Even Halfroy looks stony, hard as individual letters, we treat this type with humanist approach in mind. Therefore you can sense a friendly yet casuals of typical sans serif fonts when it grouped together to form a words or sentences. We hope Halfroy will gives your design project a unique on its own.

When Jim Lee sent us pages of his latest project, DIVINE RIGHT, we knew we had to do something special for him. Something Unique. We knew we had to create a whole new look for his book. We spent weeks holed up in our Colorado mountain retreat, meditating on the true nature of leading and kerning, sketching out ideas and rejecting all but the best of the best. As the dreaded deadline doom rapidly approached, we suddenly knew we had the answer: A line of 'Celebrity' fonts -- digitally remastered lettering based on handwriting samples of the many Artists and Creators we all know and love. Of course, our first font would have to be...the SAMMY DAVIS Jr font! But Jim didn't like that idea and made us create a font based on his handwriting instead. You're no fun, Jim.

This cool techno font is easily recognizable with its quite unique stroke endings. Sultan is a revival and expansion of a 1954 Matrin Kausche typeface called Mosaik. This design highlights the unmistakable Arabic/Moorish calligraphy influence on Celtic lettering, by way of the highly active Andalusian culture from the ninth century until the crusades in the early eleventh century. Although Celtic lettering evolved on its own and prompted different calligraphic styles after the crusades, elements of the Arabic influence survived with it, its appeal remaining evident to this very day. For instance, this kind of lettering is very similar to the one Louis Tiffany used to make the most recognizable athletic insignia in North America - the New York Yankees logo, which is now over 110 years old, and has inspired hundreds of spin-offs in many athletic and non-athletic fields all over the world. The original character set made by Kausche was quite minimal, consisting of only numerals and uppercase letters along with a few alternates. But in this digital version the set has been considerably expanded into uppercase, lowercase, numerals, punctuation, a complete set of accented characters, and more than 15 alternate letters built into the font. Sultan is a great font choice particularly for design contexts of fantasy, middle ages legend, mystical and new age content, pirate literature, and Irish history. But it is also an excellent all-purpose display and poster font in general.

The box cover of “Drawing Stencils No. 3 for Use on Slate or Paper” [a children’s drawing set produced by Montgomery, Ward & Company of Chicago circa the 1890s] had its title in an elegant spurred Roman type face. Working from the few letters available, a complete character set was created that resulted in Antique Packaging JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. To note, this is the 1500th font release from Jeff Levine Fonts since its inception in January of 2006.

The Bitstream version of Bell Gothic designed by Chauncey H. Griffith in 1938 for telephone directories of the Bell Telephone Company. It is a good sans serif choice for listings, catalogues and directories as its design is very space saving. The weight of the line is moderate and uniform. Being a clear and easy-to-read font, Bell Gothic is popular now for display and magazine advertising. Cyrillic version by Isabella Chaeva was released by ParaType in 1999. Italic styles added in 2009 by the same designer.

Brass Rail JNL is a novelty font, with its name derived from two key components of the source material. It was modeled from examples of vintage small letters stamped out of brass with "rails" above and below each character to fit within a slot. The most likely use of these letters would have been for either decorative initials or small merchandising signs (similar examples of both have been seen in the past). From these few examples comes a typeface with numerals, punctuation and an extended character set.

Neeskens, by Enric Jardí. A few years ago we used to talk about Neeskens as the font preferred by the crew of Ganimedes' commercial vessels. Now we see it as one of most solid geometrics of our typefaces. Neeskens has two versions: solid and inline.
