Throughout the history of typography there have been countless attempts to simplify the alphabet. In the early 20th century, modernist designers experimented with reducing the alphabet to basic geometric shapes. Prozac pushes this utopian experiment further by reducing the roman alphabet to just six shapes. These shapes are then flipped or rotated to make up the 26 letters of the alphabet. Linotype Impacta is part of the Take Type Library, which features the winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest from 1994 to 1997. We have created this family inspired from the set of well known Auriol fonts used by the French popular "cheerful" satirical magazine Fantasio (1906-1948). The present version contains Normal, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic styles, in use for texts, plus narrow titlings and normal outlined with upper and lower case, both in use for titles. Extra Crunchy is my handwriting when I am eating cookies while drawing! No, it's true! I did eat a whole box of cookies while drawing this font! :) The letters are a bit jumpy, and have no steady x-height, however, your text may look a bit off, but it is clear and legible. Fits perfect for a children's book, a postcard/poster design or something else that needs that extra crunch :)

With a nod to the Golden Age of children's stories, this delightful font will have many uses. 'Luceat' is the Latin for 'shine' and we arer sure you will agree that this is a shining example of the genre. Due to the modular nature of this design there may be a very slight lack of smoothness to the curves at extremely large point sizes (around 200 pt and above).

Organic Respect is my monospaced and organic slab serif font. Although the font is monospaced - which may not lead your mind to something organic - I did my best to make the letters appear vibrant and lively in an organic way. I just love biscotti; they’re one of my favourite cookies! I thought they were all rock hard and half-moon shaped, but I found out that there’s a ‘soft’ variety as well, mainly aimed at young children who may have trouble munching on the hard cookies. Soft Biscotti is a handmade, all caps font. It comes with extensive language support and a set of alternates for the lower case letters.

PuffiClaude by Matt Desmond is a real piece of work. Great for funky display stuff, its got some jive junk hanging around every character. This OpenType font has many goodies including extra ligatures, superiors and inferiors, unlimited fractions, and a hip little smiley face. Hey, maybe it's a portrait of Claude! There are so many funky glyphs that it even supports Central European languages. Man, that's hip! Hook up.

The Tough Dude font is a confident, devil-may-care, tough-guy font with attitude that screams "I don't need no stinkin' penmanship." Main Event is a revival of a very old Italian font that you may have seen in the past under the original name of Tuscan Ornate or Bracelet. Dating back to 1860 or earlier it has never been known to have a lower case set of letters. Pacific Atoll JNL is a stylized slab serif type design based on the movie title lettering for the 1942 wartime film “Pacific Rendezvous”, and is available in both regular and oblique versions. According to Wikipedia, “…an atoll (sometimes known as a coral atoll), is a ring-shaped coral reef, including a coral rim that encircles a lagoon partially or completely. There may be coral islands or cays on the rim.”

The font has got Ligatures for double upper- and lowercase and numbers as well. Plus, an alternate version for each letter - again, both upper- and lowercase!
