The inspiration source for Almond Monogram is a highly unusual warped letterset from a vintage embroidery publication combining to create an almond form monogram. Originally intended to adorn handkerchiefs, it has many other possibilities. Numbers and letters can be combined to create one side of the monogram, while the other side is completed by ornament glyphs under the comma, period, braceleft, braceright, bracketleft and bracketright characters. This is one of many monogram designs from the early 1900’s which fall into a two letter format that is either adorned or interwoven with ornamentation. The Trellis font family was an effort to combine my love for Art Nouveau and storybook lettering. The capital letters are intricately illustrated and fully appreciated when magnified. Trellis is a font family decidedly decorative and ready for greeting cards and holiday cheer. I was inspired by Storybook caps for the capital letters, and wanted to combine it with some lettering from early 20th century posters. What are its main characteristics and features? Leaves intertwined and growing out of the ends of the capital letters. Although it's highly decorative, it remains legible. Usage recommendations - Holiday Greetings, scrapbooking, personal seals since the capitals are quite attractive.

Streeters is a hand brush typeface, created for a specific project, where one of the assumptions in creating it was to combine the appearance of a manual brush, liquid paint but also a spatial effect. Brim is inspired by antique woodtype and chromatic type from the 1800s. Its various styles stack together creating a variety of decorative combinations. Each style can be assigned its own colour, resulting in a rich assortment of eye-catching combinations. The font began as a handful of letters created for a logotype. It became clear that it would make an excellent display typeface, so it was expanded to include all uppercase letters, numbers, European accents and more. Warm and tactile, Brim produces punchy headlines and decorative titles. Perfect for posters, packaging and logotypes. The name Brim accurately describes the expanded outer edge designed to produce its distinctive outlines. This overlapping structure couldn’t function correctly in wood or metal type; however for digital typography this system produces a more efficient solution for colour type, both in design and smaller file size, important for web typography. This family was inspired by the beautiful roman font used by Aldus Manutius in Venice (1499) to print for the first time Hypnerotomachia Poliphili..., the well known book attributed to Francesco Colonna. Francesco Griffo was the punchcutter. The present font contains all of the specific latin abbreviations and other ligatures used in the original. The Italic style, carved by Francesco Colonna, the so called "Aldine" style, was inspired from various documents, all printed with this first Italic font. We offer the complete set of ligatures (about 60) we have been able to find, contained in the original font. In the two styles, we have made differences between I and J, V and U, to make easier a modern use. Added are the accented characters and a few others not in use in this early period of printing. The Italic style may be used as a complement to our 1470 Jenson Latin. The font contains all characters for West European (including Celtic), Baltic, East and Central European and Turkish language.

Dynamic by name, and dynamic by nature - this sleek font is perfect for logos and hightech quotes. The original lowercase f had a big overhang - I redesigned it so it fits better with accented letters, but also kept the original shape as a contextual alternate: the font automatically uses the "large" f before any low letters... Also the lowercase j would crash into any preceding letters with a righthand descender - so I also designed an automatic alternate j. Result: no colliding letters! This pearl by Kevin King was the best faux chinese font I've ever come over, and now it can be used for setting themed text and menus in many more languages! :) Kevin King says: "I have said before you know - I can if I want to (Stamp! I have totally reworked all the letterforms: they started with a “notch” and ended flat - I have removed the “notch” and rounded off the ending stroke, so now you can actually start words with the lowercase letters.
