HansHand started out in 2003 as a simple free font, the adaption of my grimy handwriting. For its 10th anniversary it got a complete overhaul and lots of new characters. Now also available in BOLD for the first time, featuring scribbles, strokes, circles and boxes to underline the fast taking-notes-while-on-the-phone look!

Criteria CF is a geometric sans, efficiently built from lines and circles. Its strong, thoughtful construction allows for cleanly-stacked lowercase text and stunning headlines and logotypes. Criteria CF pairs nicely with any serif. Typefaces designed for body copy, such as Artifex CF and Addington CF, are a great match. It also looks great with bold display serifs like Wayfinder CF, or a humanist sans, like Artifex Hand CF. Huet is a continuation of the work started with Versteeg. Where Versteeg was separated into individual circles, Huet connects these circles and adds a smooth geometric style.

Ranch Land JNL is based on a classic French Clarendon wood type, many of which were popular in the 1800s and are now associated with either Western motifs or circus events.

Geographica Hand replicates the neat hand-lettering typical of engraved British maps of the 18th century, including the work of cartographers Emanuel Bowen (circa 1694–1767), Geographer to King George II, and Thomas Jefferys (circa 1719–1771) Geographica ro King George III. A kindred font to our Geographica serif family, Geographica Hand exhibits long serifs, irregular edges, and a genuinely hand-made character. Use to simulate historical materials, vintage documents, or other time-worn text. The OpenType release of Geographica Hand comes with true small capitals, contextual and historical ligatures, a series of sketchy map ornaments (e.g., trees, churches, windmills, boats), and full Latin support.

One of the original nineteenth century designs, cut at Barnhart Brothers & Spindler in Chicago about 1880, passed on to us through ATF. Unlike most Circus types, the serifs of P.T. Barnum are bracketed.

A display style font, upper case only, very typical of wooden type of the 19th century, ideal for circus posters or posters of any kind which might feature antique material and so on

Niemi is a continuation of the work started with Versteeg. Where Versteeg was separated into individual circles, Huet connects these circles and adds a sharp geometric style. This creates a nice juxtaposition between the rounded ends, and sharp corners.

Lettering on a menu from a Pennsylvania hotel, circa 1930, provided the inspiration for this happy-go-lucky take on the alphabet. Lowercase letters are variants of the uppercase and kerning has been applied to every possible letter combination, so feel free to double-clutch the shift key to create a truly handlettered feel with this font. Both versions of this font include the complete Latin 1252 and CE 1250 character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

A modern cutting designed to give the appearance of an old wood type. The letters were cut as linoleum blocks about 2 inches high, then duplicated as copper electrotypes. Used for some Ringling Bros. circus work.

Based on the Albert Auspurg design, circa 1921-27.

Inspired by circus billboards, old west posters and torn paper constructs, "Lonely Cowpoke" is an oddity of bold graphic forms and cheerful curving lines. Revelling in its own quirky nature, this playful font lightens up any mood.

Core Magic is a slab-serif version of Core Circus which is a layered type family consisting of seven 3D effect layers, eight 2D effect layers and one shadow effect layer. Uppercase and lowercase letters are separated by such features that counters are opened or closed. Core Magic provides other closed counter styles such as numbers with opentype feature (Stylistic Alternatives). Using Core Magic with Core Circus could make your works more charming and special with endless combinations (at least 262,551 kinds). Riveta is a sharp type family available in 18 styles, designed in 2021 by Joël Carrouché. Medium and medium italic styles are 100% free to use. The typeface features a simple and solid geometric construction, with straight terminals and a very discrete triangular serif that gives the font some extra spice in big size.
