The thin and stylish Art Deco lettering of a neon sign above the Greyhound bus terminal entrance in a 1930s New York City photo inspired Transit Station JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Browsing through images of old wood type for sale, a Western type design with some interesting character variations made the perfect subject for a digital revival. Western Territory JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Hand lettering from the 1965 movie poster for “The Loved One” – a classic 1960s spurred serif design with added curly-tailed terminals was the working model for Groovy Tuesday JNL – available in both regular and oblique versions.

The hand painted signage from a 1950s era photo of the Miami Diner Restaurant in Miami, Florida inspired the digital version of its 1940s-influenced lettering. Roadside Diner JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The original OCR B was designed for optical character recognition systems and was therefore monospaced. Designer Alexander Branczyk made a more typographically tuned and fitted version, with both regular and bold weights, and called it OCRBczyk™.

An ad from the 1930s for a Spanish company called Intex Textiles featured some hand lettering in a bold and unique stencil design. This is now available as Textile Stencil JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

Public Safety JNL was inspired by a 1940s-era health poster issued through the WPA (Works Progress Administration). The font’s bold, blockish sans lettering commands attention and has been made available in both regular and oblique versions.

Abdo Screen is a very simple Naskh font for satellite channels, presentations, videos and advertisements. it comes in sixth weights Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black. This font also contains some of Stylistic Sets and Ligatures.

The hand lettered actors’ credits on a title card from the 1937 film “Shall We Dance” served as the model for Formal Event JNL – an Art Deco sans serif font available in both regular and oblique versions.

A modern Sans Serif — prosaic, designed geometrically, beautiful in large sizes All the dimensions of the font are based on Factor 10. The general principle of construction leads to slim forms and nearly equally wide characters. So the font appears very solid but is actually difficult to decipher in longer texts. Along with the ”normal“ Guhly Regular there are also the two versions Guhly Light and Guhly Bold, whereas in each only the vertical strokes [Guhly Light] or horizontal [Guhly Bold] have been changed in strength. The result is a very individual decorative effect which slightly reflects old circus and western scripts. The lower case characters in the version Guhly Book are, therefore, optimized to be suitable for longer texts in smaller font sizes — because after all, sometimes you should read a bit more than just the headline… The design of a shampoo bottle stands behind the creation of this sans serif display font. Prominent, clearly constructed forms with circular arcs define its appearance. This is a font primarily designed for use with capital letters — for all sorts of advertising purposes, headlines and titles. But lower case letters also belong to a good functional font; so, of course, Guhly includes them and ligatures for the more ”critical“ letter combinations as well as stylistic alternates for the letters K (or k), V (v) and o. As a decorative “encore”, the Guhly family also contains the “normal” weight in two variants: on the one hand the Guhly Cutout – these are letters without counter, as if the letters were cut out and the internal surfaces fell out; and on the other hand the Guhly stencil – as the name suggests, a stencil font with the typical bars that give a stencil the necessary cohesion.

Originally designed in 2012 by Ryoichi Tsunekawa, All Round Gothic is a font family inspired by classic sans serif fonts such as Avant Garde Gothic and Futura. With their bowls shaped by not-perfectly-geometric circles, All Round Gothic makes an organic impression in some degree. This set of initial letters is an entirely original creation, inspired by French renaissance patterns used by Bordeaux printers circa 1580-1590. It contains two roman alphabets : the first of decorated letters, the second of single large capitals, all with Garamond style, and a few fleurons using the same background pattern style. Both containing Thorn, Eth, L slash and O slash. It can be used as variously as website titles, posters and flyers design, publishing texts looking like ancient ones, or greeting cards, all various sorts of presentations, as a very decorative, elegant and luxurious additional font... Stadia is designed around a series of modular units: quartercircles, teardrop shapes, squares, circles and variations thereon. The versatility of these basic shapes is such that a teardrop, for example, can represent a looped bowl, as in the lower part of the a, while also representing a curved arc at the top of the same character. The strict grid is broken for the T and the Y, and the placement of accents. The alternative – basing a T, for example, across three units – though rational, is far less aesthetically pleasing. As always with type design, one has to know when the internal structural rules should be bent for a more beautiful result. The horizontal lines appear to travel through the letters, bursting into stars in the counters of lower-case characters such as the o and p. The outline version is weighted to the same width as the gaps between the units.

Museum Borders and Ornaments is part of a typographical treasure, the Norstedts type collection in Sweden. Type designer Torbjörn Olsson has painstakingly translated the original 34 Ornament matrices in the collection to Open Type. Among them are several of Granjon's arabesques, as well as symbols from both Swedish and Danish typefoundries. The signs were cut in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Costanera is a neohumanist typeface with both soft strokes and endings, which is inspired by 90s typefaces. It has an organic aspect and curved finials associated to the early calligraphy, while its straight angles give Costanera a technological and futuristic impression. Costanera weights go from thin to black, thus it can be used in short-impact phrases ideally using Black or Thin weight and extensive texts selecting the Book version. On the other hand, due to its calligraphic-futuristic features Costanera is perfectly suitable for different fields, such as vanguard technology, architecture, and signage topics. Museum Fournier is inspired by a set of Rococo capitals designed by Pierre Simon Fournier le Jeune circa 1760. The matrices are part of a set imported to Sweden by J.P. Lindh in 1818 from Breitkopf & Härtel in Leipzig, Germany. They are now in the Nordiska Museum in Stockholm. Type designer Torbjörn Olsson has expanded the original 31 lead matrices in the collection to 55 characters. Please note that the font contains capitals only, no lower case letters and no figures either. Museum Fournier is an OpenType creation, for both PC and Mac. This font is mainly inspired from the engraved characters of a German Map depicting Germany's roads and parts of surrounding lands, edited in Berlin probably in the end of 1700's. The engraver was Carl Jaeck or Jaek (1763-1808). The Map was bought by the French napoleonic general Louis Pierre Delosme (1768-1828) probably during the Napolenic campaign against Germany, circa 1805 or at least 1806, his sole staying in Germany. The font (with two styles, Normal and Italic)is containing standard ligatures and a few alternative characters. It is a "small eye" or "Small x-eight" font, as the Maps' characters are most often very small (some Italic lower cases of the map are 1mm hight, upper cases 2mm) The standard English characters set is completed with accented or specific characters for Western (Including Celtic) and Central European, Baltic, Eastern Europe and Turkish languages.

Designed with help and inspiration from legendary tattoo artist Dustin Horan. This beautiful time saver was designed specifically for skin application. Short words and initials can instantly be turned into seamless tribal style tattoos. Each glyph links with the next allowing letters to flow endlessly around limbs and in circles. Respecting the rhythm and geometry principles laid forth by American pioneering tribal artist Leo Zulueta, Scribal makes flowing text shapes that disguise themselves as design. When mirrored back to back and rotated vertically, Scribal becomes well-crafted tribal pattern. Typeface wise, Scribal breaks the mold. While a script font, Scribal was designed to be written in all capitals. Each capital is a mono-spaced glyph, providing even spacing. The shape influences are also vast, ranging from scripts, to blackletters, to romans. Making Scribal a very "Americanized" font, reflective of this "Americanized" style of Tribal Tattooing.

Bluset Monospaced enlarges the re-worked and expanded text- and headline typeface family Bluest Now with 6 new cuts. The concept for Bluest Now was based, in its original form, on a corporate design typeface by Elsner+Flake in 2004, ordered by the Landor Agency for a large German energy corporation. Regularly re-worked and brought up to modern standards, the typeface is still used to this day. Because of its large x-height and its well-balanced appearance, Bluset Now Mono is also excellent for use in small typesizes. The three Roman cuts, Regular, Medium and Bold, and the corresponding obliques, allow a clear differentiation of base- and display applications for every typesize. Graffiti Classic is a graffiti font that blends the improvisational urban quality of graffiti with the smoothness and regularity of a typeface. Growing up in Brooklyn, graffiti appeared to me as an explosion of expression and color in a sea of concrete. Inspired, I became a graffiti artist and practiced in both notebooks and subway tunnels. While I moved on to somewhat more traditional art forms in future years, with Graffiti Classic I pay homage to my artistic roots in a calligraphy marker/tag font. Like my other fonts, the entire Graffiti Classic font is spaced letter to individual letter so that the spacing will work smoothly, in spite of the expressiveness and irregularity of the forms. The Graffiti Classic family also includes an ornaments font, “Taglets,” which has clouds, underlines, arrows, crowns, halos and more to add flavor to your designs.

The hand lettered pre-Deco style title and songwriters' credits on the cover of the sheet music for 1929s "The Love Parade" were the models for Deco Days JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
