German type designer Erik Spiekermann and American type designer Christian Schwartz created this sans FontFont between 2003 and 2011. Raljon is a display typeface created by designer and lettering artist Mark Robinson. It is a collaboration between the Mmarkk and Teen-Beat Graphica visual design studios. This single font was created over a period of five years. Mark took great care in finessing each character and making sure that each character would stand on its own and yet simultaneously, be an integral part of the whole. The typeface is inspired by Gothic letterforms, horror novels, speed metal bands of the 1980s, techno and electronic music of the 1990s, and Washington, DC football teams whose stadiums lie in the Maryland suburbs. While it doesn’t have multiple weights, Raljon does have a deep depth and breadth. It has a seemingly endless amount of alternate characters and ligatures. There are nine letter Ms, eight letter As and Fs, seven Rs and Ts, and the list goes on. Even the figures have alternates.

HS Alhuda is a display typeface. It can be used for titles and graphic projects, which support Arabic, Persian Urdu and Kurdish. It has been created based on modern kufi style. It enjoys flexibility between sharp and curved lines in the structure of characters. This supports with a beautiful appearance and wonderful geometric structure. The sharp endings in the bottom of character also give an aesthetic addition to the character. (8) Weights has been created for this typeface between the heariline weight and heavy weight. Garuda typeface, featuring the shape and style based on "Garuda Pancasila", the state symbol of the Republic of Indonesia. Garuda is a mythical bird in the Javanese puppet stories, is very similar to the eagle. At the typeface we can find more ligatures beside than the standard. Within Garuda at least encoded 792 glyphs per weight onto major codepage: win 1252, 1250, 1254, 1257 including Mac OS Roman. It is containing more OpenType features such as swash, contextual alternate, stylistic, figures/number, and a few bit ornaments. The typeface has a pretty good readability and legibility even in small sizes. So it is useful for short texts (text length? Whom fear) for print and screen material. Usage on headlines, posters, titles, or something like that, can utilize ornament lines as a sweetener. I was working about 10 years exclusively for a type company. Based on my experiences, I built this superfamily. Schuss™ Sans PCG is a humanistic sans-serif with a little contrast. Small Caps, greek and cyrillic are included. Also tab, prop, lining, old style and small cap figures. It's a typeface with clear and open characters. All complicated shapes are cleaned and simplified with a bit elegance. Schuss™ Slab Pro is a slab serif, based on the Schuss™ Sans. Schuss™ News Pro is the modeled style between Schuss™ Slab Pro and Schuss™ Serif Pro. Schuss™ Serif Pro is the antiqua shape. Additionally all serifs are cleaned up. Cyclic is a stylish and modern slab serif in three practical, highly legible weights. The name ‘cyclic’ suits this typeface in several ways. Firstly because I wanted to create an ‘all-round’ typeface (pun intended) that could adapt to most applications, but also, as the dictionary definition explains - “occurring in circles, regularly repeated”. The basis for a lot of the characters did begin with a circle or sections of one; the equally distributed, rounded forms of this font are complemented however by the vertical strokes, and further counter-balanced by angular slab serifs on the remaining glyphs. Curved alternates with a celtic vibe are also included in the fonts and feature on the default slots in the separate Cyclic Uncial set. In summary, the whole Cyclic type family comprises a combined palette of circles and straight lines; something the cubist movement would have been proud of!

Cal Uncial Rough is a calligraphic font based on sketches written with cane calligraphy pen and ink on coarse-textured paper. Because of the fact that the Uncial don't have lowercase letters, there are small capitals instead of the lowercase. As the Latin version of the Uncial was created from the Greek Uncial script (translating the Bible from Greek into Latin), in addition to the standard Latin graphemes, the font contains the Greek alphabet (and also the Cyrillic letters (Ustav), derived from the Greek Uncial too). Regardless of the stylistic connection, there is a difference between the morphology of related Greek, Latin and Cyrillic letters. Most of the graphemes are based on traditional roman and insular uncial calligraphy. Cal Uncial Rough is suitable for the preparation of calligraphic sketches as well as an application in typography that should bring us closer to historical topics (European literature, quotes, history, film ...).

I searched all over the internet looking for a realistic sand writing font and came away empty handed. Undaunted by this, I grabbed my business partner, Mary and trekked down to our local river, the Arkansas (pronounced ar-KAN-sas around here). Using sticks, we scratched out the entire alphabet in the sand, including upper & lowercase, and punctuation marks! I photographed the characters, converted them to line art on my computer and used font creating software to turn it into a true type font! This font was designed for adding dates, places and messages to your beach photos that looked as if you wrote it in the sand before you took the picture! Its forms are based on those of Irish scripts of the 7th and 8th centuries, an example of which can be found in the Book of Kells in Dublin.
