Marista is a bit of an unusual design, a cursive monospaced font inspired by the classic cursive typewriter fonts used in the 1960s-70s. It is designed to feel 'real', and captures some of the light irregularities in line weight which characterise real typewritten text rather than their computer equivalents. Marista is distinctive but easily readable, even in block text where some monospaced fonts suffer. Marista is best used at small to medium sizes, and at a uniform size throughout a document or design to capture the typewritten feel. The italic is more similar to authentic typewriter cursive fonts. A contemporary slab-serif which revisits aspects of Robert Besley’s all-time classic Clarendon, designed around 1842 for Thorowgood and Co. and named after the Clarendon Press in Oxford. The original design was subsequently extended by Sheffield foundry Stephenson Blake in the 1950s into a widely-used, robust workhorse family. Albiona uses the inwardly curved stroke terminals of the same foundry’s Grotesque series, while rationalising or removing entirely Clarendon’s ball serifs, flicked tails and other eccentricities to make it more functional in contemporary settings. The family consists of five weights plus italics and a stencil, and includes oldstyle and tabular numerals. Its clean readable style suits both text and headline setting.

Holografik is a Neo-Grotesk sans serif font inspired by scientific progress, existential wonder, and social oneness. With its wide structure and light airy weights, Holografik is an optimistic take on a Grotesk font. Devoid is a sans serif typeface with a no frills stripped down design. The design has all the features of the neo grotesk typeface, horizontally cut endings, modern capitals, oval counters, with a bare bones appearance. The typeface comes in three subtle widths, Devoid Slim, which is spaced most narrowly, Devoid and Devoid Set, which have a wider letterspacing. There are regular, medium and bold weights with accompanying italics. The vertical metrics align across weights and widths, this allows for optical size adjustment as well as adjusting for same size text fit. Designed by Malaysian designer, Ong ChongWah, Abadi is a versatile sans serif typeface whose style lies between the humanist Gill Sans and the more rigid lineales such as Monotype Grotesque and Helvetica. These humanist characteristics give the Abadi fonts a friendliness in use and contribute as much to its legibility as the generous 'x' height. It is ideal for logos, branding, packaging, high-impact titles, labels, liquor and beverage packaging, as well as use in web, film and television. Modesto Open is now a Chromatic Font Family. The old font Modesto Open has been improved, renamed Modesto Open Primary and joined by four new fonts that ornament and augment the Primary font in many different ways. All Caps. Modesto is a loose-knit group of Font Families based on a signpainting lettering style popular in the late-19th and early-20th centuries. It evolved from the lettering I used for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Logo. The Modesto family was not planned. It just happened, a few fonts at a time over about fifteen years. In 2014 seven new Italic fonts and two Chromatic families were added.

German type designer Ludwig Übele created this serif FontFont in 2011. The family has 12 weights, ranging from Extra Light to Bold (including italics) and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, book text, editorial and publishing, music and nightlife as well as small text. Arthur Baker's display script Sassafras, designed in 1995, is based on the natural inline effect created when writing with a split-metal nibbed pen. Black and white are nicely balanced, giving this calligraphic face a remarkably smooth appearance. The regular and italic versions of Sassafras include two alternate faces: one with long, tall ascenders and regular-length descenders, and one with shortened ascenders and descenders that allow it to fit where its companion might not. In both, the ascenders increase in width as they move upward, while the descenders taper to a fine point. This variety of form makes Sassafras a very flexible choice for display work.

This family is inspired from the set of two styles, Roman normal and Italic, and the ornaments used by an unknown printer working around East Switzerland, circa 1750's. It is a Dutch style font, slightly bolder than usual Fournier's or Caslon's Roman fonts, with some emphasized serifs and finals parts and special letters as capital "U" for example. A set of initials, fleurons, ornaments and frame elements is joined to the family as a supplement. The two styles, Normal and Italic, are containing standard ligatures, a few alternative characters and titlings (who are more preferable than enlarged capitals). They are "small eye" or "Small x-eight" fonts. The standard characters set is completed with accented or specific characters for Western (Including Celtic) and Central Europe, Baltic, Eastern Europe and Turkish.

AltraTwo is a complete redraw of a family based on a tracing of a clip art font from an old printed book. The AltraTwo family adds italic, black, and black italic. I liked the gentle calligraphic look. Consider it a sans serif with style. This is a typical NuevoDeco OpenType pro font with caps, lowercase, small caps, lining, oldstyle, and small cap figures, numerators, denominators, fractions, swashes, and so on. There aren't many unusal ligatures for this one, though. It does have the Latin 2 character set or what Adobe calls CE, Central European characters. Altra has been my preferred header face for sevral years. it also works very well for body copy. I usually use it for my contrasting tip and quote paragraphs with Bergsland Pro as my normal body copy.

Estragon is a vivid sans-serif text face with venetian influences, suitable especially for books. It is remarkable for: its light slant, to the right, for most of the verticals, its small sized uppercase letters making it suitable for languages where they are often used (for example German,) and its just lightly inclined true italics. For a wide language support, Estragon contains a lot of accented characters including the polish kreska. It is generously equipped with ligatures, special and alternate characters as well as various kinds of numbers: besides the standard old-style figures to be set as part of text copy there are small-cap and tabular numbers as well as a set of fraction figures. Franca is a neo-grotesk family in nine weights plus matching italics. The inspiration for the design came through the constant interest in new interpretations of the classic grotesk model and a study of "neutral“ typefaces like Helvetica, Univers or Normal Grotesk. During the studies, additional attention was given to the American representatives of the genre, resulting in the initial impetus for a reinterpretation, combining both paths into one contemporary design. This is reflected in the name, blending together the names of the most popular typefaces of each genres, (Fran)klin and Helveti(ca). Due to its large x-height and plain design, the family is perfectly suited for all kinds of text. Hartia is modern serif family designed to be tireless worker (aka workhorse) for all situations – from small size texts in different editorial situations to main webfont usage. Born into a world of serif fonts, where beautiful styling and script-like italics abound, Alexandar has neither. His appearance is, dare we say it, Spartan. Alexandar’s styling is minimal, it is stark—with uniform strokes and a high x-height. Alexandar’s goal is to conquer the world of legibility—to be readable in even 4 point text. We think he has succeeded and we are prepared to proclaim him The World’s Most Legible Serif Font. Of course, you may not want your clients to be able to read the small print—in that case, Alexandar is not for you!

Knucklebones is a game that is played with the knucklebones of sheep. I bought a set in Mongolia, which I stumbled upon when I was cleaning out the attic. Knucklebones font is a rough brush font, which comes in three styles: Knucklebones Regular, a slightly slanted version, Knucklebones Italic, a very slanted style and Knucklebones Upright, which looks like the name implies. Knucklebones is a very useful all caps typeface, which would look great on posters, product packaging and book covers - but don’t take my word for it: just grab this font and get creative with it!

Altruiste is a decorative slab serif typeface with distinctive sharp features. It was inspired by the idea of ​​duplicating elements, conveying typeface a unique look. Benton Modern was first prepared as a text face by Font Bureau for the Boston Globe and the Detroit Free Press. Design and proportions were taken from Morris Fuller Benton’s turn-of-the-century Century Expanded, drawn for ATF, faithfully reviving this epoch-making magazine and news text roman. The italic was based on Century Schoolbook. This version of the family is part of the Reading Edge series of fonts specifically designed for small text onscreen, having been adjusted to provide more generous proportions and roomier spacing, and having been hinted in TrueType for optimal rendering in low resolution environments.

Inspired by Japanese robot animations in 80s such like Gundam and Ideon, Geom Graphic is a square geometric sans serif for wide range of usage. The name FeggoliteHatched comes from the fact that it was created with the help of an old font manipulation program called Incubator Pro. It was an attempt to create a more conventional typeface from the odd monospaced font, FeggoliteMono. As a monospaced font, FeggoliteHatched could be considered a typewriter face, but no typewriter ever produced letters like these. The original version from 1994 is now the italic style and it has a leftward or back slant. The upright or plain version was added much later, in 2018. There is also a choppy upright version included in this family.

Opinion Pro is a geometric grotesque sans-serif typeface with extra-large x-height that comes in 64 styles. It is composed of 4 width variations, each in 8 weights with respective italics. Its rigid curves with pronounced vertical stems makes it useful as both display and paragraph typefaces.
