  1. Supernett cn by FaceType, $19.90
›Hi! Please note you are visiting Old Supernett. We decided to upgrade it: more styles, more glyphs, more features, more everything! View New Supernett here: Supernett 2019› Georg from FaceType Supernett – a versatile hand drawn/handmade/handwritten font – is tailored for large font sizes but also impresses with an astounding legibility in small typesettings. Supernett is fairly condensed for space-saving headlines. The extensive character set supports Central and Eastern European as well as Western European languages. Each style contains more than 4700 glyphs to let the font look real hand-made. Three OpenType features are specially created to enhance this impression, with a maximum effect when applied to big type: Alternating Letters For a truly hand-drawn look, letters and numerics alternate randomly between three different variants → activate Contextual Alternates Rotating letters All glyphs rotate randomly and slightly around their own axis → activate OpenType Swashes Varying Baseline Shift Each single glyph moves individually up or down → activate OpenType Titling Alternates More OpenType Features: Case Sensitive Forms This feature shifts various punctuation marks to a position that works better with all caps typography → It is deployed when an app’s all-caps styling is applied Slashed Zero The problem with the numeral 0 is that it can look too much like O in some typefaces. This feature replaces every zero with a slashed zero → activate Zero with a Slash Fractions Substitutes figures separated by a slash by proper fraction glyphs. A date however, written like 10/12/2013 will remain unchanged → activate Fractions Stylistic Set 03 Choose between two different styles of bullet (•) → activate Stylistic Set 03 Stylistic Set 04 Choose between two different styles of Y → activate Stylistic Set 04 View other fonts from Georg Herold-Wildfellner: Sofa Serif | Sofa Sans | Mila Script Pro | Pinto | Supernett | Mr Moustache | Aeronaut | Ivory | Weingut
  2. Mercurial by Grype, $16.00
Geometric/Technical style logotypes have been developed for car chrome labels since the early 1980’s, but automobile companies don't monopolize the style by any means. During the 80’s and 90’s, a lot of these logos leaned towards the geometric sans styles and the swiss styling of fonts like Handel Gothic, while playing with varying degrees of squared rounds and varying expanded widths per logotype. Mercurial has this flavor, but it wasn’t derived from logotypes. Instead, it began as a digitization of a film typeface from LetterGraphics in the early 70's known as "Sam". It visual ties to this genre of automotive logotypes and fonts like Handel Gothic lend a familiarity to it, yet it has an identity all its own. As with so many automotive logotypes, this singular style film typeface, lacked an expansive family which shows off all potential the logotypes have and what they "could" be and do. And that's where we come in. What originally began as this family’s Regular Width - Bold Style has been expanded into a collection of 3 Width Families, each containing 5 Weights. Here’s what’s included with the Mercurial Complete bundle: 396 glyphs per style - including Capitals, Lowercase, Numerals, Punctuation and an extensive character set that covers multilingual support of latin based languages. (see the final poster graphics for a preview of the characters included) 3 widths in the collection: Narrow, Regular, & Wide 5 weights in each width family: Light, Book, Regular, Medium & Bold. Here’s why the Mercurial Family is for you: - You’re in need of stylish sans font family with a range of widths and weights. - You’re love those 80’s automotive logos, but want more range of use. - You’re looking for an alternative to Handel Gothic. - You’re looking for a clean techno typeface for your rave poster designs. - You just like to collect quality fonts to add to your design arsenal.
  3. Vintage Reclame by Putracetol, $32.00
Vintage Reclame is a vintage script font. As the name suggests, this font is inspired by classic billboards/boards. Besides that, I also combine it with a script style and it's a little irregular in its shape / bouncy style. I strengthen the vintage/retro impression with the character ligatures, there are 140 ligatures in this font. But if you want to use this font with a neater impression, you can disable this ligature feature. This font is perfect for projects with vintage/retro and classic themes. But this font is also suitable for logos, branding, greeting cards, invitation cards, advertisements, titles, healines, book titles, stickers, packaging, quotes, posters, t-shirts/apparel, billboards and others. 5. Ammer Handwriting by Schriftlabor, $18.99
Austrian Cartoonist Wolfgang Ammer lent his handwriting to this font, which was produced by Miriam Surányi. Wolfgang already uses the font in his daily routine: It facilitates corrections and translations of his cartoons for international newspapers. Rich in contextual alternates, Ammer contains about 1800 glyphs. Each character has multiple alternates. And a complex OpenType substitution feature makes sure that the same variant does not appear twice in a line. As a special gimmick, the font contains a Tic Tac Toe game: To activate it, type a # and turn on stylistic set 20. Then use digits 1–9 for setting the naughts and crosses on their places. The enclosed TT variant has a reduced glyph set and therefore a smaller file size, hence it is better suited for use on the web.
  6. Daft Script by Hanoded, $15.00
I really like creating script fonts. Why, I hear you say? Well, creating script fonts lets me be me. I am not trying to create classy, connected fonts for you to write love letters with: there are already too many of those available and quite frankly, I just don't like them. I prefer the messy script fonts - uneven, no real baseline and with a bit of splatter or rough edges for good measure. Daft script is one of these messy script fonts: it was handmade and it comes with two alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type. This is an all-caps font, so that means you have 4 options per letter! I also love languages (I speak 6), so Daft Script comes with fantastic language support, including Vietnamese and Sami.
  7. Bundt Cake by Up Up Creative, $29.00
Introducing Bundt Cake, a sweet, modern mono-line script display font with tons of OpenType features. Bundt Cake comes with more than eleven hundred glyphs! Specific OpenType features include contextual alternates, swash forms, stylistic alternates, initial and final forms, multiple alternate glyphs for each letter (accessed through the glyphs panel), multilingual support (including multiple currency symbols), two ampersands, ninety standard and discretionary ligatures, a bunch of hearts and arrows, and standard numbers, oldstyle figures, and fractions. The OpenType features can be very easily accessed by using OpenType-savvy programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. (To access these awesome features in Microsoft Word, you'll need to get comfortable with the advanced tab of Word's font menu. If you need help with this, ask me!) Perfect for: logos, wedding invitations, photo overlays, and more.
  8. Jigger Statz by Poole, $32.00
During the spring of 2006, while creating this typeface, I was reading Praying For Gil Hodges, by Tom Oliphant, who grew up a Brooklyn Dodgers fan. I grew up a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. My mother worked as secretary to the president of the old Triple A LA Angels Baseball Team. In 1952 when she was pregnant with me, she left the team. They gave her an autographed baseball and a puppy named Angel. That's the dog I grew up with. Toward the end of the book the author talks about Gil Hodges' favorite ballplayer, a slugger for the LA Angels, Jigger Statz. I thought, could it be? My mother died two years ago and I got the team baseball. Sure enough, the first name after the dedication to my mother was Jigger Statz.
  9. Excelsor Script by Storm Type Foundry, $32.00
Excelsor Script is inspired by lithographically produced scripts. It is softer and simpler than, for example, engraved Splendid Script, because its designer used pens and lithographic needles. The graver for steel is held in a quite different way and this has an influence on the shape of the letter. Similar type faces were in use from Neo-Classicism until the beginning of Art Nouveau, when they were pushed aside by a completely different view of festive typography. It has, in contradistinction to other scripts, slightly narrowed letters, which signifies a distinctive elegance without wasting space on the line. For practical reasons it was not possible to encircle the bottle with too long a label. It is, therefore, a suitable type face for labels. Its two optical grades cover a wide range of sizes.
  10. Pardner by Stiggy & Sands, $29.00
Our Pardner font finds its inspiration from the title screens of the 1965 film “West and Soda”, an animated Italian film that was a parody on American Westerns. Director Bruno Bozetto claimed in an interview that he was in fact the originator of the Spaghetti Western, not Sergio Leone. This offbeat and animated serif typeface has characters of varying width and weighting incorporated into opentype scripting as well as numerous alternates to give a lot of fun and frolicking play in typesetting. You can type with just as much diversity as the titling themselves. Opentype features include: - 6 Stylistic Alternate Sets. - A collection of ligatures as well as programming to automatically alternates between Caps and Lowercase. - Full set of Inferiors and Superiors for limitless fractions. - 731 characters of pure joy.
  11. Expectation by Linotype, $29.99
Making a Christmas card takes a lot of work! Finding the right typeface can be tough, too. Have you ever spent hours searching for the right one? Well, in 2003, instead of spending hours searching, German designer Guido Bittner made his own. Expectation was first used on the Christmas card for Bittner's Wiesbaden design studio. This delicate series of letters maintains a handwritten feel, in part because it began as a digitalization of Bittner’s own handwriting. Expectation Swash includes additional swash letters, which can be paired with regular version of Expectation to create superior effects. Perhaps it is already time for you to begin working on next year’s holiday cards. Let these fonts be the starting port for your inspiration! Expectation was a winner in the 2003 International Type Design Contest, sponsored by Linotype GmbH.
  12. ITC Styleboy by ITC, $29.99
Although ITC Styleboy has a retro feel, it isn't based on any earlier typeface. As far as inspiration goes," says designer Chester Wajda, "I'd have to say comic strips of the '20s and '30s, and silent-film marquee lettering from the '20s - with a hint of a Chinese brush?" He originally created the typeface for a children's book he was working on. "I wanted it to be fun, but still somewhat formal in its underlying structure," he says. "It's largely based on right and 45-degree angles, with slight tucks inward on the stems and bowls, and a few flourishes here and there." Styleboy's top-heavy look is most noticeable in the caps, but it's exaggerated too in the "8" and the lowercase "g." Styleboy is Wajda's first typeface design."
  13. Quarca by insigne, $24.75
Quarca's masculine power runs strong across the page with bold self-assurance and a raw energy that courses through its thick veins. Don't think the continuous, smooth geometry of this semi-modular face is captively chained to the grid, though. Quarca has been cautiously optimized to engage the reader's eye. Achieving an attractive balance to its sturdy design, the open forms of this "rounded square" geometric sans -together with a tall x-height- make the font legible even when using the compact widths. This high-impact typeface definitely doesn't sacrifice versatility for style. These compact widths, with their raw heart and strength, are perfect for callouts, while the extended widths provide you with the platform for a punchy and extremely efficient headline. The font has a thinner weight and transcends to an intense bold. The face's geometric or technological construction also tends to make it right at home on the web. The family consists of 36 fonts -six weights plus italics. Where Quarca truly stands out, though, is its wide number of OpenType typographic choices and optional glyphs, allowing you to design your piece with a personal, one-of-a-kind variant touch. These variations consist of Experimental Capitals, Angled Capital Terminals, and "Future Stencil". In all, you can find more than one hundred of these alternate glyphs. Quarca is well-suited for anything you are able to throw at it. Devised for today's multi-disciplined designer, this clear and infinitely versatile family provides tremendous value to your toolbox.

Bandalero is a witty display font from British designer Richard Yeend. The letterforms in this poster/display typeface are quite square-ish and geometric. The lowercase letters have short x-heights, and the uppercase letters look dressed for a showdown, with bandoleer-like elements strapped across their tops. Because of this, Bandalero should only be used in large sizes, where it can really stare down its opponent, or reader. This might be the best font yet for a keep out sign! Bandalero was designed in 2003, and is part of the Take Type 5 collection, from Linotype GmbH."
