The name Dash Wisher is a wordplay. The letters of the font are also quite playful - you never know what comes next, when typing. There is no exact x-heigh, the baseline is jumpy, the descender and ascender are messed up...there are no real rules for Dash Wisher! But with all that in mind, it comes out surprisingly legible, which means it does have a wide range of use. Let your fantasy and imagination break the boundaries and Dash Wisher do the rest - or maybe the other way around! :) I've added both ligatures to substitute double letters and a set of alternate letters as well.

Marista is a bit of an unusual design, a cursive monospaced font inspired by the classic cursive typewriter fonts used in the 1960s-70s. It is designed to feel 'real', and captures some of the light irregularities in line weight which characterise real typewritten text rather than their computer equivalents. Colin is a fresh, somewhat futuristic geometric sans serif type with a large x-height that, to me, communicates both seriousness and cheerfulness. It supports 70 languages incl. monotonic Greek and comes in 7 weights with a small number of alternate glyphs (ss01) for more flexibility. It features fractions, old style and tabular figures. Colin works great in titles, displays and short paragraphs. And where does it come from? To be honest, the reason for this font is a selfish one. I wanted a typeface where my initials (n and c) look identical, just rotated by 90 degrees. That didn’t completely work but, hey, it’s pretty close.

Stuffed Shirt JNL acquires its name from a term popularized during the years when the Art Deco period flourished. The Great Depression further widened the gap between the 'haves' and the 'have nots'. Occasionally, some of those that 'had' (and some who pretended they did) came off as standoffish, egotistical and pompously arrogant. Such individuals were referred to as a "stuffed shirt"; a blowhard who thought he was better than others. In this case, Stuffed Shirt JNL is no more than a dual-line adaptation of Playwright JNL, itself an interpretation of the classic Broadway type design in a way that emulates the hand lettering of old-time sign painters.

Charlie's closed because the landlord wanted the property. for his own use. Charlie now resides in Leon, Nicaragua and runs some successful business ventures there.

London is one of my favourite cities, so it was about time I named a font after it. Well, technically, I named a font after one of London’s districts. Southwark comes from the Anglo-Saxon word Suthriganaweorc, which means ‘Fort of the men of Surrey’. The font Southwork is a handmade Clarendon. I used a Japanese brush pen to create the outlines. I gave the glyphs texture by filling them in with a brush and Chinese ink. Southwark, therefore, has an uneven look and a brushy texture. It looks good on just about anything, but posters, greeting cards and product packaging come to mind.
