WEG* font is an experimental type system where legibility isn’t the focus. This project studies how glyphs are constructed and how their ductus can be modified. I explored how far I can move the limits if I don’t worry about the legibility. In Weg, letters are built by a single line that connects them, along with words and paragraphs. When weight decreases, the legibility of the signs increases. This is the first stage. It’s a project in expansion. The set contains uppercase, lining figures and basic punctuation in three weights: Regular, Light and Thin. The current supported languages are Spanish, Guaraní and English. If you need any other language, please let me know. I would like to expand the character set. Second stage project WEG is an experimental in-expansion font family. Here I present to you the second stage. I’m planning the first upgrade for middle 2021. I’m preparing a pattern set for July 2021. Here you can see the first four patterns. Lecturia is a modern humanist sans serif typeface. Ascending dynamic movement characterizes the structure of it’s characters -- the stylistic alternates emphasize this impression. The family comprises eight weights from the most delicate "Hairline" to the strong "Bold" -- each upright and italic. Using the variable font, the intermediate levels can be controlled fluently. The forms and proportions of Lecturia have been selected to be very legible as body type for longer texts. Lecturia ist still legible from a great distance or under unfavorable conditions. In large sizes as a heading, the font is very eye-catching. The shapes of the individual characters follow the "humanistic" form language of modern faces. In addition to ligatures for problematic letter combinations, it contains stylistic alternates for some characters that make the appearance even livelier. Small caps provide a restrained opportunity for emphasis. In addition, Lecturia offers several sets of numerals: proportional standard figures, lining figures, proportional oldstyle figures, non-proportional tabular figures, superscripts and subscripts, numerator and denominator to represent fractions, circled numbers. The very good legibility of Lecturia makes it the ideal typeface for information systems -- a selection of directional arrows is included.

Blambot's Adversary BB family is a robust sans with a hint of retro-futurism. It was initially created for use in Blambot founder, Nate Piekos's pesonal title block for design projects. It's therefor very clean and extremely legible. The set includes regular, italic, bold, and bold italic.

Estencil was inspired by the use of stencil fonts used as text knocked out of steel plates. Not suitable for long text, it works well for display, signage, and wayfinding applications., maintaining legibility from a distance. It includes the Western European character set, with 251 glyphs.

TurvyTopsy offers all the fun of delightful hand-drawn irregularity, captured in a typeface. Designing this was a wonderful exercise in ignoring all the rules of precise geometric construction to which we normally work. Eyebel was an attempt to form letters as simply as possible using only straight lines but still have them legible. The family is low contrast and has a boxy look. Eyebel-Ruff was formed by randomly moving control points. None of these faces have any curves.
