Aldo Novarese designed the Fluidum typeface in 1951. As its name implies, the design is very fluid. This high contrast script face curls and twists across the line. It is sort of a cross between Giambattista Bodoni's cursive letters, and Aldo Novarese's later, heavier designs, like Microgramma, Eurostile, and Sprint. Fludium should be set in very large pint sizes. It is perfect for invitations, greeting cards, and fine logos.

Museo Sans is based on the well-known Museo . It is a sturdy, low contrast, geometric, highly legible sans serif typeface very well suited for any display and text use. This OpenType font family offers also support for CE languages and even Esperanto. Besides ligatures, automatic fractions, proportional/tabular lining and old-style figures, numerators, denominators, superiors, and inferiors, Museo Sans also has a ‘case’ feature for case sensitive forms.

A 1967 ad for Aurora “Monster Scenes Custom Builder Kits” featured the drippy, gooey hand lettering long associated with science fiction and horror movies. The letters in the ad were auto-scanned and additional characters were completed with the end result being a horror-themed font with sharper angles and lines instead of drips. This is now available as Monster Movies JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Excellent futuristic font with pretty rounded angles will fit any title or heading. It supports more than 20 European languages. This font is unique for it's elegant and thin letters. Font's idea came to the designer in the late autumn when tender yellow leaves fell to his hands. The combination of straight lines and bows had sparked a thought about the font, that could be used as awesome decoration.

From the pages of the 1939 French lettering book “Modèles de lettres modernes par Georges Léculier” (“Models of Modern Lettering”) comes an attractive and unusual set of initial drop caps made from square letters adorned with multiple vertical lines. Originally designed as white letters on black backgrounds, an additional set with black letters on white backgrounds comprise Deco Drop Caps JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Joachim Müller-Lancé's Uppercut is a rather sporting fellow, originally developed for the Krav Maga training center of San Francisco (Krav Maga is a simple and efficient self-defense system that has become equally popular in Hollywood and with law enforcement). Joachim has spent several years training, hitting things and people whenever he needs a break from kerning. Uppercut can be seen on the school's t-shirts and other articles. Despite bearing the same moniker as an upwards punch to the chin, the name actually fell together quite naturally as Uppercut is an all uppercase typeface, and the word "cut" is also historically used to describe a type style in hot metal type. For this slanted look, "Angle" felt just right (with thanks to Mia McHatton). The design idea sprang from pencil sketches for the center's new identity. Uppercut's shapes are not calligraphic or handwritten, more like lettering seen in comics or sports logos. Its brush movements are imaginary, not too literally brushy. During development, details were simplified and reduced until a bit of a cut-paper feel emerged, but more fluid like writing. The shapes are economical and efficient; simplicity makes the font versatile, holding up in small as well as big sizes. Uppercut is decidedly analog, muscular but not bulky, with the fluid but determined movements of a boxer or martial artist - not theatrical but powerful, fast, confident and dynamic. Well... it has punch. In the proportions, there is emphasis on a strong upper edge "keeping its guard up", while several stems protrude downward, giving the impression of leaping or being "light on the feet". Use Uppercut to pick up the pace, add snap, verve and drive - on movie posters for action and adventure, to advertise your dojo, rumble or prizefight, racing team or tuning shop, or invite friends to your barbecue with old time rock'n'roll and homemade hot pepper sauce.

Kirillik is a hand-drawn font, based on early Russian cyrillic script (“Ustav”), elegant calligraphy written with flat ink brush. Traditional Slavic feel for ethnic Russia-inspired design. This is an all caps font that includes Latin and Cyrillic alphabet with extra characters (covering most European languages), numbers, punctuation and symbols.

The 1938 sheet music for "(The Dwarves Marching Song) Heigh-Ho" from Walt Disney's "Snow White" had the part of the title in parenthesis hand lettered with a round nib ink pen. This lettering became the inspiration for Pen Work JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Seasonal Drift is a brush font that I made using one of my father in law's Chinese brushes and ink. For some reason this font reminded me of the ocean, like waves and currents and driftwood. Seasonal Drift comes with a healthy dose of language support and some cool discretionary ligatures.

Kokomo is a beautiful handmade contoured font - which was drawn with an old-fashioned steel pen and Chinese ink. The open, shadowed letters are great for posters and ads. Kokomo comes with extensive language support and has an alternative lower case a, for those who don't like the one I used.

ITC Veljovic Script was designed by Jovica Veljovic and displays an obvious calligraphic heritage. The designer was strongly influenced by German designer Hermann Zapf and Israeli designer Henri Friedlander. ITC Veljovic Script exhibits a crisp precision, as if the letters were cut in stone rather than drawn with pen and ink.

Freaky Prickle script was written using ink and various wooden sticks and digitized/ Autor’s target was to create the spontaneous, light, flying script with dynamics and energy at the same time. As you can see, Nefertiti is a font based on ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and could be classified as a fun-font. I've always been really interested in Egyptology and a couple of years ago I thought it would be great to be able to write in hieroglyphs. I started to study them but soon realized it would take me a long time to be able to do this. Still, I was determined to find a way around this problem. At some point I came up with the idea of rearranging and reforming the hieroglyphs so as to resemble the English alphabet. During this process I tried as much as possible to preserve their ethos and appearance. However, since they are designed to write in English with, it's obvious that they are not always going to look like the real thing. Despite this, I'm really happy with the final result and I think many Pharaohphiles who just want to have some fun will be also. The only difference in this font between lower and upper case characters, is that the latter are set between two parallel, horizontal lines. These are for use with brackets (motif ends) to form cartouches - elongated ovals for names and/or titles. Try typing the following using the upper case in the sample text box. e.g. (JOHN} The zigzagged vertical lines at each end, separate the motifs from the hieroglyphs. Note the three types of ends/brackets. These lines are also used to separated words from one another and to give a more authentic appearance. So pressing the space bar gives a zigzagged line - not a space. They can also be used at any point within a cartouche to separate first and last names or titles. e.g. ; (JOHN;BROWN} walked straight home after work. Notice the eye glyph (period/full stop) at the end of the sentence. This is the only punctuation mark which can be used within a cartouche, e.g. after Mr. or to add a more Egyptian appearance to a name or title. e.g. (MR>;JOHN;BROWN} Parallel lines dividing hieroglyphical inscriptions and writing into rows or columns are very common. To incorporate these in a body of text, simple use the underline U. e.g. (OSIRUS) and {ISIS} were important gods of the ancient Egyptians. (HORUS) {HATHOR} and [RA],the sun god, were also highly revered deities. The punctuation marks available are shown below. . , " " ' ! ? "where is the king?" The font also includes the numbers 0-9, the following mathematical symbols and the hash sign(Scarab beetle). Once again, I've tried to make them look as Egyptian as possible; whether I've succeeded or not is open to debate. e.g. + - x / = # This font is named after Akhenaten's beautiful wife, Nefertiti, who's image can be seen in the graphic on this page.

I am creating new fonts for my Halloween collection and Gallows Hill is the latest one. It was made using a cheap brush, gouache mixed with Chinese ink and paper. The result is a very messy, rough and scary font. As a bonus, I have added double letter ligatures for the lower case.
