Napoleon was a great general, but his hand-writing was not legible at all, so he employed a few secretaries who wrote the official mail. The typefaces Largo Mager (Light) and Largo Halbfett (Medium) were cast for the first time in 1937 by Ludwig & Mayer based on the designs by Hans Wagner.
