English designer David Quay created the Agincourt font in 1983. Drawn after the Old English style of type, Agincourt features intricate capitals, which complement the more reserved, slightly condensed lowercase. The Yearling fonts are inspired by old propaganda poster letter forms of the 20th century. However, they're also intended to work well in modern communications as well. Yearling was originally created to look good via fax (LOL!), and because it's based on a very rigid grid (like pixels on your screen), this font family also works well on smartphones and modern tablets, too. The regular style of this family was inspired from the typeface used in Nuremberg, Germany, by Johannes Petreius in 1543 to print the famous “De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium,” the well-known mathematical and astronomical essay by Nicolaus Copernicus. Petreius was also using an original italic style, as he did for the “De Sculptura” by Gaurico Pomponio, in 1542. Unfortunately, nobody seems to know who was the punchcutter of this Jenson-style font. Also included is a title file, containing initials (without diacritics) and small caps (with diacritics). In our three styles (Regular & Italic + Titling), font faces, kerning and spacing are as closely as possible identical to the original. This Pro font is covering Western, Eastern and Central European, Baltic and Turkish languages, with standard and long-s ligatures in regular and italic styles. Both have twin-letter ligatures, but the italic style has extra (genuine) ligatures for f and t with vowels.

The name of the font Titla emphasizes it heading and display functionality. At the same time low contrast, narrow proportions, wide variety of weights and clear glyph constructions make it possible to use it for long texts as well. Combination of modern serifs with flexing stems (see n, p,…) brings to the font fresh, informal and noticeable appearance. The character set includes alternative variations and specific 'vertical ligatures' for paired letters that are built with the help of diacritical forms of letters placed above basic ones. Pietra is a Baroque-inspired, all-majuscule type design, based on the massive five-foot tall mosaic lettering high above the floor in St. Peters in Rome. The font includes two sets of capitals: full sized, proportioned on the actual lettering; and small capitals, scaled vertically to capture the foreshortened effect of viewing the lettering from the floor. It was designed by Garrett Boge in 1996. Pietra is part of the LetterPerfect Baroque Set.

Charlize is a handwritten, fully connected script with ligatures to help with flow and readability. It can be used for invitations, greeting cards, posters, advertising, weddings, books, menus etc. Charlize pro is the most complete style, it contains over 740 glyphs. Every lowercase letter has six variations (uppercase letter has two). To get the alternate glyph just add "+","*","--","__","++" or "==" before the letter in any OpenType savvy application or manually chosen the characters from Glyph Palette. Charlize One and Charlize Two have less glyphs than the Pro one, they contain less alternates and ligatures. At the turn of the 20th century monolinear alphabets were often despised for their dullness. Typographers, therefore, took great pains to breathe some kind of individuality into the monotonous sans-serif scheme. They started with subtle differentiation in the thickness of vertical and horizontal strokes and finished by improving details. By this they arrived at a more decorative appearance of the type face which thus became more regardful of the eye of the bourgeoisie. Ideal Gothic is no exception. It is characterized by a correct stiffness which will improve the morals of every idea printed by this type face. The awkward curves of the italics are a little suggestive of openwork iron products or the bent iron of the decorative little railings in a Prague park. The so-called "hidden" and, furthermore, curved serifs complete the inconspicuous "charm" of this type face. All its above-mentioned features, however, suddenly turn into advantages when we need to design a magazine, a brochure or an annual report, in short whenever illustrations dominate. It is not by accident that the basic design of "Ideal Gothic" has such a light tonal value - it competes neither with fine pencil sketches, nor with sentimental landscapes. It is very suitable for business cards and corporate identity graphics.

The Diamond Negative and Diamond Positive fonts feature sans serif capitals and figures in a diamond shaped background, in positive and negative form. ‘Bounced’ is the technical (!) term for a higgledy-piggledy style of lettering in which characters are shaken up by a combination of rotation and vertical displacement from the presumed norm of upright stance on a baseline. Now, by utilizing pseudo-random contextuality in the OpenType format, Nick Shinn has created complex, default bouncing automatically through the agency of a font, rather than letter-by-letter manual adjustments at the layout level.

Monospaced but no mono space. Created from 2002 to 2007 this font family is influenced by fonts like OCR-B, DIN and the work of Erik Spiekermann. Newsletter is not a real monospaced font but has the ease of recognition these fonts have - even though these fonts are often criticized for their aesthetic qualities. Newsletter has a computer-related impression but is more legible and aesthetic than real monospaced fonts are. Since 2006 Newsletter is the corporate font of the design agency "die Typonauten". It is eminently suitable for correspondence use. After a testing period and fine tuning it is now published.

Straight from the ‘extras’ drawer, the mismatched Sluicebox character set is comprised mainly of serif type specimens. The OpenType versions of Sluicebox have 52 ligature features that automatically substitute a unique pair of distressed characters when any upper or lower case letter is keyed twice in a row, as well as features for Old Style Numerals and Small Caps. Sluicebox Pro extends the character set to support Eastern European Latin, Baltic, Greek and Turkish.

A 1930s WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster promoting national parks depicts Native Americans overlooking the land with the tag line "his hunting ground of yesterday". The hand lettering of that text is reminiscent of Futura Black and similar Art Deco stencil-influenced type designs, but is rendered in an oblique lower case with no capitals. Re-drawn as Sandwich Shop JNL, the typeface is now available in both regular (vertical) and oblique versions.

Isaac Newton, father of the theory of gravity, used several forms of handwriting in his life, in numerous texts about numerous scientific subjects. Here, we propose a handwritten font, using a particularly legible script form, coming from texts written in 1672, the year he presented a new reflecting telescope to the Royal Society. It is a Pro font containing Western, Eastern, Central and Northern European, Icelandic, Baltic, and Turkish diacritics. The alternates and ligatures allow the font to look as closely as possible to the real thing. The features allow OTF software to vary the characters of a word automatically, with no more work than selecting contextual alternates and standard ligatures.

Urban Grotesk attempts to follow the best of traditions of Grotesk typefaces: rounded arches, slightly thinner connecting strokes and a vertical shadowing axis, where outstrokes are terminated strictly in perpendicular to the stroke direction. The primary characteristics are the connection of the rounded stroke to the stem, a round dot, lower and more thrifty uppercase, and generous numerals. The width proportions of characters is almost unified, the text colour creates a unified grey area on a page. An airy metric aids good legibility in shorter texts.

Friar Pro is a revival of Frederic W. Goudy's "Friar" typeface. Goudy described this typeface design as a 'typographic solecism' as it combines a lowercase of half-uncial forms from the 4th through 7th centuries with an uppercase of square capitals from the 4th century. Steve Matteson developed the font as a tribute to Goudy and his joy of typographic exploration. Steve created a complete character set with OpenType typographic enhancements to give the font an authentic appearance to the original.
