Castellar is a capital letter typeface from John Peters, named after a location in the Alps. It first appeared in 1957 with Monotype. Peters modelled the design on the Roman script Scriptura Quadrata as it was used in the first two centuries of the Roman Empire. One distinguishing characteristic is the quadratic proportions of many letters, which are however mixed with circular and narrow forms. The original script was called Scriptura Quadrata because the ancient engravers used rectangular stone plates for their work. Castellar is a typical title typeface and is best used in large and very large point sizes to highlight its classic elegance.

The hand lettered credits from the 1931 melodrama “Safe in Hell” inspired the typeface Pre Code Movies JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. The design is strongly influenced by the popular Art Deco style of thick-and-thin characters and also features rounded corners. The font’s name comes from the early era of talking pictures and the short period before the establishment of the Hays Office in 1934 when Hollywood did not self-censor itself. Isard is a very agile typeface, honoring its name, which is the name of a type of mountain goat from the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a multipurpose sans serif typeface with a down-to-earht elegance, thought for information design as well as branding. Isard is warm and friendly which also makes it suitable for advertising, packaging, and magazine. It has a contemporary feel to it with its squarish curves, it has being built with legibility in mind, bearing a considerably large x-height. The family covers two scripts, Hebrew and Latin. Devoid is a sans serif typeface with a no frills stripped down design. The design has all the features of the neo grotesk typeface, horizontally cut endings, modern capitals, oval counters, with a bare bones appearance. The typeface comes in three subtle widths, Devoid Slim, which is spaced most narrowly, Devoid and Devoid Set, which have a wider letterspacing. There are regular, medium and bold weights with accompanying italics. The vertical metrics align across weights and widths, this allows for optical size adjustment as well as adjusting for same size text fit. Dutch designer Pier Taylor designed the typeface in 2020 for use in catalogs, lists and registers.

The font SweynheymPannartz is strongly modeled after an example Conrad Sweynheym and Arnold Pannartz used in their early printing venture in Subiaco, Italy which began around 1465. Their efforts were supported by Pope Sixtus the IV after they enthusiastically printed more books than they could sell. They not only brought printing to Italy, but also developed the first Roman style type. This font has over 600 defined glyphs to cope with modern needs, and also the ability to use several abbreviations common to that period. It also has an alternate minuscule “k” more modern in appearance for those that find the original too unusual.

Cruller is a display typeface that is based on a rare bit of lettering from a 1910 German lettering book. What was the inspiration for designing the font? I found the base lettering years ago in a specimen and scanned it. I've used it perennially for assorted metal bands' logos, and finally decided to digitize it. What are its main characteristics and features? It is a spidery bit of lettering that would work well in Harry Potter movies or on album covers. Usage recommendations: Display type for use in materials that are meant to have a hand-wrought look circa the turn of the century.

Ahkio is a brushed disconnected script family of 5 fonts. Ahkio’s roots are in 1930s sign painting and showcard lettering but with a modern and individual twist. Lunatique Rounded is the soft version of Lunatique, a highly decorative font, available in three widths, with extended language coverage as well as alternates for some glyphs. And quite a seventies flair, isn't it? This font is inspired by Lucky typeface, designed in 1972 by André Pless for the Mecanorma permanent type contest. The style was later released as Letter-Press transfer sheets. Transfer sheets... Sounds quite nice, definitely. But hey, these digital ones will be waaaaaay smoother to use, you bet. From 1702 to 1811 the French "Royal", then "Imperial", Printers, neglected Garamond and Fournier's designs and used only the font called "Romain du Roy", carved (1693 to 1723) by Philippe Grandjean by order of the king Louis XIV. 1790 Royal Printing was inspired by various variants of Romain du Roy that were in use during this period. Our sources were mainly official and legal documents printed in the late royal period, and in the beginning of the French revolution. There was no bold style. The 1790 Royal Printing Caps fonts contain small caps, plus titling caps for headlines as 1790 Royal Printing capitals are intended to be used preferably for text.

P22 Yule is a series of display fonts inspired by a mélange of ancient inscriptional writing, with visual references to Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, medieval and even a bit of ancient Greek and roman letterforms. Yule is exotic yet familiar and evocative of winter holidays. It has an Alpine look, lending itself to the thoughts of chalets and fondue. Yule Heavy Snow is blanketed in the white stuff, while Yule Light Flurries is dusted with snowflakes. With the addition of the Klein style, which includes a lowercase, Yule becomes infinitely more usable. The Klein variations can work well as an alternative to Neuland when you need the versatility of a lowercase.

Selektor Slab is small font family created as logical extending of the Selektor font family. Carefree makes it so simple to elevate a logo or headline text, whether you're wanting something bold or delicate. Introducing the Carefree Serif family – a gorgeous condensed serif typeface that includes 16 fonts, regular and italic, from Hairline weight to Bold. This typeface looks best in larger settings as a display text (think big headers, pretty quotes, calls to action, etc.), but can also be really stunning for longer text like quotes. I would probably avoid using this as a body text because of the high contrast. I've also been loving combining the regular and italic and mixing up the weights, especially for beautiful logos.

Charlize is a handwritten, fully connected script with ligatures to help with flow and readability. It can be used for invitations, greeting cards, posters, advertising, weddings, books, menus etc. Charlize pro is the most complete style, it contains over 740 glyphs. Every lowercase letter has six variations (uppercase letter has two). To get the alternate glyph just add "+","*","--","__","++" or "==" before the letter in any OpenType savvy application or manually chosen the characters from Glyph Palette. Charlize One and Charlize Two have less glyphs than the Pro one, they contain less alternates and ligatures. Language support includes Western, Central and Eastern European character sets, as well as Baltic and Turkish languages.

Every face tells a story but this font is 77 stories high (1,046 feet with antenna included)! A lofty companion to Empire State Gothic , Empire State Deco is a tall, stately font containing four different styles, sometimes contradictory, united by the desire to be modern. Those familiar with the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes will notice a post-postmodernism combined with the fine craftsmanship and rich materials for which those awfully nice chaps at Comicraft are known. During its Art Deco heyday, Comicraft represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress -- this new font recaptures those halcyon days in letter form.

Ligaturess Serif is a modification of Textworthy Serif. This modification contains 79 uppercase ligatures. 59 lowercase ligatures. And 493 ligatures with diacritics marks. Ligatures are groups of letters joined together and usually compensate for the free space between individual letters. Ligaturess Serif, in addition to the basic ligatures - fi, fl... - also includes superstandard ones - CA, OO, ST, SS, VA... -. Text set in Ligaturess Serif has a unique and interesting look. The font works well in headings. And when using capital letters. A book cover, a chapter title, an inscription on a poster or even an interesting logo are the places for which the Ligaturess Serif font was designed.

Kessel 205 is inspired by the classic, geometric sans-serifs such as Futura, but has shallower ascenders and descenders for a more compact look, and features an art deco influence with sharp points at the apex of many characters, lowered crossbars and an oblique crossbar on the lower case e. It's a versatile, modern sans, highly legible as a text font and with a distinctive, elegant look as a display font at larger sizes. It includes old style non-aligning (lower case) numbers, both proportional and tabular as well as accented characters for Central European languages. The Kessel 205 family comprises of six weights and is closely related to Kessel 105.

Cynthia June is an elegant and formal copperplate style script font from Jukebox.
