"Triole 21" is the name of a gothic script font designed by Bertram Kaiser. The forms of this so called "Rotunda" script are based on the manuscripts of italian calligraphers of the late 14th century. Inspiration for this project also comes from the calligrapher Lisa Beck. The glyphs were first written with a broad-nib and then digitized. The Open-Type font is equiped with multilingual (Latin-based) alternates, ligatures and oldstyle figures for various typographical purposes. It can be used for headlines and also stays legible in smaller textsizes for longer textpassages.

HERENGRACHT (Patricians' Canal or Lord’s Canal) is the first of the three major canals in the city centre of Amsterdam. The canal is named after the heren regeerders who governed the city in the 16th and 17th century. The most fashionable part is called the Golden Bend, with many double wide mansions, inner gardens and coach houses on Keizersgracht. The 'VanderHand' font is a friendly and easy to use handwritten font. It is so loaded with ligatures it could easily pass for actual handwriting. The font was created with a felt-tip brush pen and so there are natural thick and thin parts in the characters. All writing was done upright with tightly fit characters. As a result this font has a unique 'instant logo' quality. But you should really try this out for yourself. O, and the font was written by Jeroen van der Ham. It's his handwriting. That's why it's called VanderHand.

Banret is built using simple geometric shapes. It is mostly the result of my experiments on the other font I made earlier in 2016, called Inventor. Font is inspired by old fonts of the beginning of the 20th century. Capital letters are built with one to four proportions. The font has four weights: normal, and bold, and two alternatives: ribbon, and flag. As far as it is a decorative font, it is not designed for large amounts of text. But it is perfect for creating branding elements, logos, slogans and posters.

The Alternasci family consists of five consists of five individual fonts in the spirit of renaissance. Alternasci Regular is a handmade typeface resembling markings in old manuscripts. It supports most European languages. Alternasci Alchemia comes with the uppercase Alternasci letters and (in Latin) explained alchemy symbols. Crostini was designed as a fun-filled, vigorous brush script, originally intended for restaurant logos and menus. As it evolved, I realized that it was more versatile than I'd thought - great for feminine, girly media as well as for more “in your face” marketing. While the characters are bold and dramatic, they are also feminine and rounded. Crostini contains all the accented characters used in the major European languages. Use Crostini for invitations, scrap-booking, advertising media, fashion media, restaurant media, food media, greeting cards - it’s great fun!

Danton is a serif dominated face with a crisp and distinct graphical flavor. While Bellas Artes, Koziupa and Paul's "other" look at intertwined classicism in calligraphy, can be compared to the repeated patterns of standardized dance steps, Tanguera is more like dancers engaged in a free form of the classic Argentine dance. Euroscript Pro is the handwriting of Ralph M. Unger, a very talented and hard-working German type designer. Unger has redesigned a large number of beautiful ancient typefaces during the last few years. Peter Rosenfeld of profonts persuaded him to try and produce his own very beautiful handwriting. Kind of hesitant at the beginning of the design process, Unger's joy and excitement about the project was continuously growing during the design process. He designed not only the standard character complement West, but added all of the Eastern European Latin glyphs and, on top of that, even the complete Cyrillic characters. Born and grown up in Th�ringen, former East Germany, Unger has a fair knowledge of Polish and also Russian (Cyrillic). Preto is an extensive type family, which explores the function of serifs on readability and legibility. Preto consist of three subfamilies: Sans, Semi and Serif. Preto is designed for multilingual typesetting. All of the subfamilies have equal gray value but different texture which can be use to differentiate languages. Preto sub-families have two text weights and two bold styles (Regular -> Bold, Medium -> Black). Every weight has a companion Italic style as well. The serif version has been designed to work best at small point sizes (around 8, 9 points). You will not achieve calm, boring or invisible look of your text with Preto Serif. Its long, spiky and sharp serifs contribute to give the typeface a distinct and energetic character. It is very suitable for magazines, corporate identity, brochures or other print materials where a typeface for continuous reading is required. The ligatures in Preto Serif are very special. You can set them in different tracking values and spacing will increase/decrease consistently in the ligatures as well. This font is an adaptation of the cyprus syllabic script to a Latin-based font. I tried to assign as many correct letters as possible, but there were too many characters so I had to fit them. Please review the alphabet table of Cypriot syllabic to use the Font. Cypriot syllabary The Cypriot syllabary was used in Cyprus from about 1500 and 300 BC and is thought to have developed from the Linear A. The earliest known inscriptions from between 1500 and 1200 BC are in an unknown language called 'Eteo-Cypriot', or 'True Cypriot', and the script in which they are written is called Cypro-Minoan. From around 1200 BC Cyprus began to be colonised by Mycenaean, Minoan and possibly Cretan Greek settlers, and they probably adapted the existing script to write their own language - the oldest known inscription in Greek dates from the 11th century BC. Cypriot Greek had much in common with Greek dialects of Arcadia and Pamphylia, which corresponds to the province of Antalya in Turkey.

“Hi! I’m Hyptis – the script font based on brush handwriting. I was drawn with a soft, wet brush and digitally cleaned with care, but some of my characters keep their natural texture. If you are looking for a font for logos, postcards, product packaging, quotes, text overlays – or anything else – I am a good choice!” Hyptis has two types of embedded auto-replacement: lowercase letters without connecting strokes (for a case of the last character of the word), and ligatures (for a case of two letters that do not pair well together). Mexica is a typographic tribute to Nahuatl, the tongue of the Aztecs, but also the lingua franca of ancient Mexico. ‘Mexica’ is not only the feminized, latinized form of the word ‘Mexico’, but also the name of the inhabitants of this place: the Me-xic-cah. Nahuatl, when composed in the Latin alphabet, abounds in diagonal letter shapes: XYZ are ubiquitous in its classic orthography, just as KW are in its modern one. This visual feature is further enhanced by the absence of some rounded letters such as BDG that depict inexistent sounds in this millenarian tongue. Besides, Nahuatl is language with a tendency to form very long words that give the text quite a distinct appearance, unlike English, for instance, with its abundance of short words. Mexica was designed to look well in all these contexts, and to perform as well as a contemporary, daring, stylish serif type family, with several weights for text and display composition. Further, its terminals and general structure —devoid almost completely of straight lines—are inspired by the angled architecture and ornamentation of the ancient city of Mexico- Tenochtitlan. Artisinal, not to be confused with the term artisanal, is our revival of the Art Deco typeface known as Cubist Bold, by John W. Zimmerman for Barnhardt Bros. & Spindler in 1929, breathes new life into a classic. The original metal cast typeface was designed without a lowercase, as well as some wedge serif capitals made for not always perfect pairings. We've created a lowercase that blends well with the original design to give the typeface more usability. We've also created a fully sans version of the capitals as the default set, and moved the original wedge serif capital styles to a contextual alternates feature. Phrygia is the Greek name of an ancient state in western-central Anatolia (modern Turkey), extending from the Eskişehir area east to (perhaps) Boğazköy and Alishar Hüyük within the Halys River bend. The Assyrians, a powerful state in northern Mesopotamia to the south, called the state Mushki; what its own people called it is unknown. We know from their inscriptions that the Phrygians spoke an Indo-European language. Judging from historical records supported by ceramic evidence, settlers migrating from the Balkans in Europe first settled here a hundred or more years following the destruction of the Hittite empire (ca. 1200 B.C.). Most of what is known about Phrygian archaeology and its language derives from excavations at the capital city Gordion, located about 60 miles southwest of the modern Turkish capital of Ankara (also a Phrygian site). Gustav and Alfred Körte first excavated Gordion in 1900. The excavators did not reach Phrygian levels, but they did reveal burials dated to the late eighth century B.C. with Phrygian ceramic, metal, and wooden artifacts. From 1950 to 1973, Rodney S. Young of the University of Pennsylvania led excavations at Gordion. Archaeological work at the site resumed in 1988 and continues to the present.

Vesta™ was originally designed as an orientation and information system for the city of Rome, the birthplace of the roman alphabet. The forms are inspired by letterforms found on a frieze in the Vesta temple in Tivoli. Vesta has more contrast than the average sans serif but, like many of other designs of Gerard Unger, let in a lot of light - the letterforms are open, the counters generous. Relatively narrow and hence economical - without feeling too compressed - Vesta is an ideal solution for newspapers and magazines, and numerous other applications, including corporate identity and more.
