For many type lovers, Broadway is the quintessential Art Deco typeface. Designed as an all-caps typeface in 1927 by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF, it was expanded two years later with a lower case designed by Sol Hess, who also drew the inline version, Broadway Engraved.

Modeled from an example in the book “Lettering” by Harry B. Wright (1950), the poster alphabet shown was reminiscent of the kind of style used in the early 1900s by sign painters and show card artists. Vintage Poster JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

A contemporary sans-serif typeface with an agreeable character, Doctrine Sans is the moderate comrade of the display typeface Doctrine Stencil. From the obscure starting point of the North Korean national airline livery, Doctrine was developed to encompass a series of more mature typographic influences. Doctrine draws influence from the classic mid-century neo-grotesques and, while it retains a sense of crisp modernity, it exudes a more contemporary and human character. The rounded, lighter weights speak with graceful composure while the large x-height, low contrast and squarer, heavier, weights give Doctrine an affable charm and a persuasive voice. Rialto Script is inspired by old polish neon signs and their very imaginative and expressive lettering. Neon signs were designed by great Polish artists and architects during communistic times in Poland. A large number of alternates and swashes make every word unique, just like the neon signs were in this period. The typeface is designed to evolve as your type. The 1930s produced many distinctive and stylish autos. One was the Auburn, and this typeface was suggested by a period poster for the make. Another fine car of the time gives the font its name, because “it’s a Duesie!” Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Comixed RP Bold and Comixed RP Bold Outline are two new fonts designed by British designer Roy Preston and released by BluHead Studio, LLC. Comixed is a bold, condensed cap-only typeface, with a lively, animated charm. The Outline version turns up the fun factor by adding a drop shadow. Used alone or together, both are great for snappy, eye-catching headlines!

Friedrich Bauer’s Senatsfraktur, coming in two styles, regular and bold, released by Genzsch and Heyse, Hamburg, in 1912, has come to life again. Both styles contain the traditional long s which can be accessed by either the OT feature historical alternatives or by typing [alt] + b. To get access to all ligatures, it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary Ligatures.

Hand drawn by Michael Browers, Ekkehard is inspired by multiple blackletter typefaces that appeared in an 1862 printing of "The Doctrine of the Simple and the Power of the Powerless" by Hans Nielsen Hauge. The result is an eclectic distressed font that is ideal for logos, product packaging, headlines, posters, merchandise, greeting cards, and other projects requiring a vintage, hand-made feel.

Mosherif is a type of sherif font created with the aim of using for logo branding and print media. This font has three style that can be combined manually with one another in one word / text so that it looks unique and interesting. One example is in the first preview ( cover ), where the word "MOSHERIF" was made using three font styles ( Mosherif Regular, Mosherif Tall and Mosherif Short ). You can make it manually by making a space and remove some characters between words "MOSHERIF" becomes "M HE F" with using the font "Mosherif Tall" and fill it with "Mosherif Regular" in character "O" and "R" and "Mosherif Short" in character "S" and "I" by stacking them. By bringing the concept of vintage, clean, thick and sharp, hopefully Mosherif can provide choices for designers. Enjoy!
