Dolly Pro is a book typeface with a flourishing flavour. She’s suitable for classical book type setting as well as for more contemporary magazine designs. Those who have grown tired of text typefaces insensitively blown up to the size of a poster or a building facade should from time to time try out extreme display styles, which are designed precisely for this purpose. They look best in dimensions from around 32 point out to infinity, and they rise to the occasion when a strong impression is necessary. This is especially true for the extreme weights Hair and Black, which don’t allow for any compromise. The sharp hairline and brutal contrast of the strokes test the most extreme possibilities, without having readability suffer in continuous text, as is characteristic for all the typefaces of the Tabac superfamily. Tabac Big Sans has the distinction of having most of its styles hold up not only in giant sizes, but also in smaller texts, where it’s an obedient little doggie. Film-P2 is an Ultra Condensed sans serif display typeface designed by Bartosz Panek. It is the follower of the geometric 'Film Poster' (https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/fontsphere/film-poster/) which was inspired by futuristic movie posters. In Film-P2, the letter design is more neutral, the font is more versatile, but no less expressive, which was one of the assumptions of the project. Worthington Arcade is a classically-proportioned capitals-only type incorporating a selection of ligatures and alternates. It loosely resembles the hand-painted architectural lettering of the 30s to the 50s, exemplified by the likes of Percy Smith’s interior signage for the BBC or George Mansell’s lettering for the University of London and the signs found on London’s bridges. However, rather than a slavish copy of any historical model, it is more an examination and evocation of certain idiosyncratic quirks of civic lettering of the period, and an attempt to create a peculiarly English titling typeface. The round letters, for example the O, Q and C, are wider than the perfect circle usually found in such designs, while the straight-sided characters, usually drawn on a square, are narrower. Along with over twenty nostalgic price tags, there is a set of individual numbers [1 thru 0 keys] and number pairs [A-T and a-i keys] for creating old-style white-on-black price tags. Blank end caps are available on the parenthesis keys, the decimal point is on the period key, catch words FOR, DOZEN and EACH are on the left and right arrows and right brace respectively, and the dollars and cents marks are on the dollar and hyphen keys. You'll even find a few extras placed upon the bracket and left brace keys.
