"Triole 21" is the name of a gothic script font designed by Bertram Kaiser. The forms of this so called "Rotunda" script are based on the manuscripts of italian calligraphers of the late 14th century. Inspiration for this project also comes from the calligrapher Lisa Beck. The glyphs were first written with a broad-nib and then digitized. The Open-Type font is equiped with multilingual (Latin-based) alternates, ligatures and oldstyle figures for various typographical purposes. It can be used for headlines and also stays legible in smaller textsizes for longer textpassages.

HERENGRACHT (Patricians' Canal or Lord’s Canal) is the first of the three major canals in the city centre of Amsterdam. The canal is named after the heren regeerders who governed the city in the 16th and 17th century. The most fashionable part is called the Golden Bend, with many double wide mansions, inner gardens and coach houses on Keizersgracht. The 'VanderHand' font is a friendly and easy to use handwritten font. It is so loaded with ligatures it could easily pass for actual handwriting. The font was created with a felt-tip brush pen and so there are natural thick and thin parts in the characters. All writing was done upright with tightly fit characters. As a result this font has a unique 'instant logo' quality. But you should really try this out for yourself. O, and the font was written by Jeroen van der Ham. It's his handwriting. That's why it's called VanderHand.

Banret is built using simple geometric shapes. It is mostly the result of my experiments on the other font I made earlier in 2016, called Inventor. Font is inspired by old fonts of the beginning of the 20th century. Capital letters are built with one to four proportions. The font has four weights: normal, and bold, and two alternatives: ribbon, and flag. As far as it is a decorative font, it is not designed for large amounts of text. But it is perfect for creating branding elements, logos, slogans and posters.

This font is an adaptation of the cyprus syllabic script to a Latin-based font. I tried to assign as many correct letters as possible, but there were too many characters so I had to fit them. Please review the alphabet table of Cypriot syllabic to use the Font. To see all the characters, you can see all the characters and add them to the text by selecting this font from the add character section on the word page. Cypriot syllabary The Cypriot syllabary was used in Cyprus from about 1500 and 300 BC and is thought to have developed from the Linear A. The earliest known inscriptions from between 1500 and 1200 BC are in an unknown language called 'Eteo-Cypriot', or 'True Cypriot', and the script in which they are written is called Cypro-Minoan. From around 1200 BC Cyprus began to be colonised by Mycenaean, Minoan and possibly Cretan Greek settlers, and they probably adapted the existing script to write their own language - the oldest known inscription in Greek dates from the 11th century BC. Cypriot Greek had much in common with Greek dialects of Arcadia and Pamphylia, which corresponds to the province of Antalya in Turkey.

Phrygia is the Greek name of an ancient state in western-central Anatolia (modern Turkey), extending from the Eskişehir area east to (perhaps) Boğazköy and Alishar Hüyük within the Halys River bend. The Assyrians, a powerful state in northern Mesopotamia to the south, called the state Mushki; what its own people called it is unknown. We know from their inscriptions that the Phrygians spoke an Indo-European language. Judging from historical records supported by ceramic evidence, settlers migrating from the Balkans in Europe first settled here a hundred or more years following the destruction of the Hittite empire (ca. 1200 B.C.). Most of what is known about Phrygian archaeology and its language derives from excavations at the capital city Gordion, located about 60 miles southwest of the modern Turkish capital of Ankara (also a Phrygian site). Gustav and Alfred Körte first excavated Gordion in 1900. The excavators did not reach Phrygian levels, but they did reveal burials dated to the late eighth century B.C. with Phrygian ceramic, metal, and wooden artifacts. From 1950 to 1973, Rodney S. Young of the University of Pennsylvania led excavations at Gordion. Archaeological work at the site resumed in 1988 and continues to the present.

Churchward Typestyle is a clean sans serif font, originally designed as a photo font by Joseph Churchward back in 2002. Under exclusive license, BluHead Studio has digitized this typeface by using his original drawings. We added any missing glyphs, being careful to maintain the aesthetic that makes this a classic Churchward design. Joseph intended this to be a six weight family, so we digitized the Light and Ultra Bold weights and interpolated the middle four. We enhanced the functionality of the family by creating a complimentary set of small caps, as well as creating a 10 degree oblique of each weight, being careful to correct the slanted curve forms of the letters. ITC Tabula is meant to be read. The design grew out of a study to create a font to set film subtitles. According to Julien Janiszewski, the face's Paris-based designer, “I set parameters for the design whereby the letters had to be able to hold up at very small sizes when set on film and yet must be able to be enlarged 2000 times to be read on a theatre screen.” The subtitle font was not completed, but several months later Janiszewski revisited the design and made a discovery. “I realized that the constraints I had established for the subtitling font was not that far from those people could have in creating typographic signage. Many time this calls for a font that can be used easily in very large sizes for headlines on highway billboards and quite small for text copy.” Work proceeded for two more years before Janiszewski was satisfied with the results. The final design is a somewhat squared sans serif family of four weighs with corresponding italics. Janiszewski also wanted to create what he calls a “sensitive sans-one that is not restricted to geometric shapes but has a subtle calligraphic, foundation.” ITC Tabula is not only easy to read, it is also a distinctive and handsome design.
