Umbilical Noose is a rather scary typeface. It is quite similar to an older font of mine: Nyctophobia. The name comes from a Nirvana song called Heart Shaped Box, in which Kurt Cobain sings: "throw down your umbilical noose, so I can climb right back". I have always liked that phrase a lot. Umbilical Noose is an all caps font, but upper and lower case are different and you can easily interchange the glyphs.

Tanked is one crazy and mixed up font, perfect for any fun project you can think of! Upper and lower case letters are dispersed throughout the font, no need to use caps...just bang away on your keyboard without regard for any typographic rules. Use as a headline font or short lines of body copy, scrapbooking titles/captions...whatever! Tanked is fun and will supply a burst of energy for your projects.

To canoodle means to hug and kiss passionately. I leave the rest to your imagination. Canoodle is also a very adorable font - some would even go as far as calling it kissable. It is an all caps typeface, but upper and lower case differ and love to mix and match. I won’t guarantee a spot of canoodling if you use this font, but who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky. Canoodle speaks many tongues.

Straight from the ‘extras’ drawer, the mismatched Sluicebox character set is comprised mainly of serif type specimens. The OpenType versions of Sluicebox have 52 ligature features that automatically substitute a unique pair of distressed characters when any upper or lower case letter is keyed twice in a row, as well as features for Old Style Numerals and Small Caps. Sluicebox Pro extends the character set to support Eastern European Latin, Baltic, Greek and Turkish.

Fledermaus (meaning 'Bat' in German) was a cabaret theater from Vienna. The original Jugendstil decor was designed by Josef Hoffman and several posters, advertising performances, were designed by other members of the Vienna Workshop. Fledermaus font was based on a 1907 poster by Bertold Löffler. Since only a few glyphs were available, I designed the missing ones myself. The lower case consists of small caps and the font comes with extensive language support.

Wild and free as usual, but now with a touch of sharp focus presented in curled ascenders and descenders, swashy care-free caps, and very unique figures. Koziupack is the ideal choice of font for food and drink product labels, signage, magazine advertisements. Refresh was inspired and partly based on handwritten text from advertisements for a popular cola-based soft drink from the 1950s. I designed the missing characters in the handwriting style of the original. The Refresh family comes in three styles: - Lite- possibly the most elegant of the three styles -- use at larger sizes for greater legibility; - Med -of intermediate weight - more legible than Lite; - Blak - for bolder statements and best readabilty. Refresh, with its three styles, is ideal for any display work needing a feminine, handwritten effect. Use it for product branding, book covers, invitations, greeting cards where you're looking for charm and movement. Refresh has not been designed to be used with capital letters placed next to one another: it is not advisable to use text in "ALL CAPS". The best effects for headings and subheads are obtained with an initial upper case letter followed by lower case characters. If you are using upper and lower case then it is not necessary to use kerning. Refresh contains over 250 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). It has all the accented characters used in the major European languages.

This is a version of the Bergsland Fashion stylized sans serif font family that is very high-waisted and sleek with rounded terminals called Bergsland Round. Round is my favorite out of the group as it is looser and friendlier. This four-font set has a Regular and a Black plus the italics. The stroke is only slightly modulated. The letterforms are higher, with a more open aperture, and sprinkled with breaks to add light and sparkle. This an attempt at a readable sans serif for text. It has many OpenType features and 465 characters per font: Caps, lower case, small caps, old style figures, numerators, denominators, accents characters and so on.

Roihu is a sans serif type family with 16 fonts: eight upright and eight italic weights. Each weight offers more than 1,100 glyphs. Roihu includes some groovy stylistic alternates and swashes that make your titles, packaging, logos, etc. pop out. Last Bastion is a strong, resolute serif typeface. The original inspiration came from the idea of an impenetrable medieval fortress that has stood the test of time and defended generations of hardened soldiers. Large stone towers and fortifications are reflected in the font's bold stems. The sans serif font offers a more modern and clean look, while the Gothic font shows the typeface's darker side. Typewriters are becoming scarce, but fonts designed to look like they came from typewriters aren't. Home Style is a revival of a very old font previously thought to have been designed by Joseph Gillé in or around the year 1820, however recent evidence from France suggests that an artist by the name of Silvestre from the same time period may be the true designer of this font. You may have seen this font in the past under the names of Circus, Roma, Madame and Gillé Classic. Originally designed in France, this very decorative font was only available in uppercase including numbers. Today this font has been re-mastered and updated with the addition of a newly designed lowercase set of letters. Home Style with its diagonal or cast shadow lines breaks away from the original design which has squared off shadows. New in 2016 for Home Style is an uppercase German Double S (versal eszett), opentype features including case sensitive forms and old style numerals.

Loaded with various auto-ligatures (primarily for ALL-CAPS typesettings), Troubled has all of the rebellious custom lettered attitude of a vintage pulp paperback. Troubled PB began as a digitization of a film typeface known as Toronado by LetterGraphics, perfect for typesetting early children books, candy packaging, toy packaging, birthday invitations, or any other playful design need. It's lowercase typesetting is straightforward and casual, with a light animated feel, while the all-caps typesetting goes wild with auto-ligatures galore to create wonderful and interesting interwoven letterform combinations. This typestyle has such an offbeat appeal to it that it just draws your attention. Great for headlines (especially in all caps settings), but also great for small bodies of text in mixed case setting. A clean, symmetrical and modern typeface. The font (previously named "Heimat Grotesk") was developed by Florian Klauer for display and body copy application. What stands out about this font is it's large x-height and constant line-weight. Nearly all letters bend with a continuous unfaltering style, giving the impression all letters are cast from the same mold. Florin Sans comes with two weights plus matching italics with 268 glyphs each, and is available as TrueType and OpenType font.

In ye olden days, nothing said “personalized business correspondence” like a typewritten letter, and several type foundries cast simulated typewriter fonts so authentic-looking “personal” letters could be mass-produced. This typeface is based on one such font from a href="/foundry/atf/">American Type Founders, which was patterned after the letters of the Smith Premier No. 3. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin and 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan) character sets.

The lettering style of Location JNL is based on sets of "vintage" metal house identification letters and numbers seen for sale online. As these sets are available from overseas sources, it's not clear whether those metal characters are cast from original vintage dies that have been used for years or just designed to look like a vintage style of lettering. Nonetheless, they make for a great digital interpretation and the design is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Although inspired by the engraved lettering on eighteenth-century English trade-cards, ITC Vineyard has unusual characteristics of its own. The type retains some quality of copperplate scripts, but the differentiation between thicks and hairlines is not very sharp. There are a few cursive forms, but most of the letters are romanized: they are almost upright and not joining. Occasional flourishes are casually interpreted from various sources such as the lettering on trade-cards and writing masters' copybooks. “I think it is a new kind of 'copperplate script' which is not too formal and easier to read,” claims designer Akira Kobayshi. Irregularities are apparent in the angle of caps and numerals, but the face's quirkiness gives a type page some friendliness rather than cold brilliancy. ITC Vineyard is designed in two weights: regular and bold. Each variation includes several extra characters such as an alternative lowercase 'd' with a long arm, a T-h ligature, swelled rules, and a pair of flourishes. Swash caps are available for both weights. The swash caps variation also includes oldstyle figures. Kobayashi notes: “There are a few swash-cap lowercase combinations that collide or look awkward. Road Stencil is a font based on painted street markings. The letters are stretched roughly six times their normal height so that when viewed from an angle, the text is seen as proportional. If you're looking to Photoshop a street scene, this is your font. This is an all caps font, but the letters were copied to lower-case for convenience. In these forms, I've preferred to use horizontal and diagonal dividers instead of verticals which can weaken the fonts readability. This font embodies a pleasant aesthetic while maintaining a coherent and believable feel. Check out the 'Rough' version of this font, which has more of a 'drawn on asphalt' look. The rough version's lower case letters have eroded alternates.

Blue Sugar is a grunge font which has one letter-shape in white set within a different grunge letter-shape in black. The Regular and Dirty versions have their characters in conventionally upright positions; and there are 3 varieties with the characters in various states of disorder and at slightly varied angles and sizes - called Twirled and Whirled. The Mixed Caps version introduces no new characters, but combines straight capitals and jumbled capitals in the same font, for convenience, in which Upper Case A-Z displays conventional upright Capitals, and lower case a-z displays jumbled Capitals. The package contains both OTF and TTF versions - install either OTF or TTF, not both versions of a font on the same machine.

I am not really a creature of habit, but when I start working on a new font, I make myself a cup of coffee first. I guess you can call that a habit, so I decided to name this font Force Of Habit. The Tabac type system is a static typeface with modern shapes and distinct, wedge-shaped serifs. It is primarily designed for the setting of newspapers, magazines and books. Haggard Nova is the new edition of Haggard fonts (designed in 2011). The new typeface is an upgraded version of an old wedge serif font, with careful refinements to glyph shapes, and the extension of glyph amounts which enabled support of more Latin languages. Haggard Nova is released in eight styles with small caps, and true italics, and contains OpenType features. This typeface can be used for editorials and print designs, as well as text and headlines.

Named after and inspired by an area in central Stockholm, this typeface also draws on design characteristics from faces such as Bodoni, Didot, Centennial and Walbaum as well as Mrs Eaves. The currently available Regular version of the typeface includes small caps, default and old style figures, standard ligatures as well as an extensive set of discretionary ligatures. Also included is a set of alternative lower case characters. These styles can be accessed as Opentype Features.

Smurrie means ‘sludge’ in Dutch. It is not an exact translation, but as good as I could find. The name refers to the rounded, blob-like shape of the glyphs. I think this font would look very good on posters, book covers and T-shirts. Smurrie is an all caps font, but upper and lower case differ and can be used together. Smurrie oozes with charm, fun and happiness and comes with a whole bunch of diacritics.

Turer is a display font with a strong artistic personality. It is inspired by some works of Rudolph Koch (1876 - 1934) such as Wallau, Original Neuland or Koch Antiqua. It is characterised by its vertical strokes that thicken towards the ends, which hints at a serif without actually having it. Turer is composed of capitals; the lower case being small caps. It also has a great set of ligatures. Presented in two weight: Regular and Bold.

Kernel is a square geometric type family in six weights with matching obliques and small caps. The design mixes slightly rounded terminals and shoulders with square counterforms, giving the shapes a strong masculine and futuristic look, great for applications like innovation, technology, sports and of course, sci-fi ! The fonts, delivered in Opentype format, include diacritics for most European languages and come with a variety of Opentype features : two stylistic sets, tabular figures, case-sensitive forms, fractions and more.

Crowd Funded fonts wasn’t really crowd funded… In fact, all of the funding came from me, as I had to buy paper and a new pen to get this font going! Crowd Funded is an all caps display font, which I based on a recent font of mine called Longreach. Crowd Funded is narrower and rounder than Longreach and, in a way, more delicate. It comes with a generous amount of diacritics and basic Cyrillic as well!

A little goofy, a little nerdy, Winooski mixes loose pen-drawn gestures with legible forms to deliver a playful workhorse. Sketched on the beach in Maui by west coast designer Teri Kahan, ITC Puamana first saw life as apparel art for a Hawaiian clothing company. Now this versatile typeface is a complete alphabet that's useful for both text and titles. ITC Puamana can be put to use in everything from book jackets to in-store signage.
