NarrowWay is a family of 18 condensed and ultra-condensed sans-serif typefaces. The family started with the ultra-condensed widths, then the condensed and regular widths (the regular is still quite condensed) were added. All widths have three weights and each weight has an italics style. These 18 styles lack a true lowercase but rather have a set of alternative characters, some based on lower-case forms, on the lower-case keys. Some alternative letters can be reached with the OpenType feature of stylistic sets. The character spacing in most of the styles is quite loose and it can be tightened with an application's character spacing if needed. These typefaces are display faces that can be useful for squeezing tall lettering into tight spaces. They are not readable at small point sizes.

When I released Halogen, I asked ‘Who doesn't want or need an expansive contemporary extended sans that has a sense of style and swagger… what if it had a lowercase, small caps and various numeral options… how could you say no?’ Go, click on the Halogen link and read on, if you're interested. Halogen was well-received, so I decided to take it further with Halogen Flare (the name kinda tips you off as to what kind of typeface it is, don't ya think?). As always, I prefer not to take short cuts and provide an anemic offering of glyphs — a modern typeface offered today must provide more than just the basics and this one does — lowercase, smallcaps, old style numerals, tabular forms, stylistic and titling alternates, fractions, case-sensitive features, and even an alternate uppercase ordinal set is included. Now, go make cool print and digital things with it.

PT Orden™ was designed by Oleg Karpinsky in 2000-2001 and licensed by ParaType. Orden is a genuine Cyrillic typeface, it contains antique Cyrillic letter forms such as d, z, N with a diagonal stroke, symmetrical Y ,× and Ù, rare in modern typography. Another specialties: one alphabet and old style figures. Lower case consists of upper case letters except for some alternative variants of the capitals. JennerikInfml is a friendly, casual typeface family that has the appearance of neat hand printing. It began as the italics to Jennerik, but I ended up separating it and giving it a different set of upper-case letters. Although its lower-case letters were designed as italics, it was originally published in 1992 with three weights as upright letters without a slant or skew. The revision of 2020 added the oblique or slanted styles.

Roadbrush was inspired by the mid-20th-century hand lettering of Albert Eckhardt, Jr., that I found in a 1950’s sign painting book. Roadbrush is a retro brush-style script that I re-designed and completely re-mastered. Roadbrush is a powerful font that can be used for logotype, packaging, posters, T-shirts, signage & design projects with a retro & vintage feel. Roadbrush comes with four styles that contain all upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals and mathematical operators, as well as all accented characters.

Riveta is a sharp type family available in 18 styles, designed in 2021 by Joël Carrouché. Medium and medium italic styles are 100% free to use. The typeface features a simple and solid geometric construction, with straight terminals and a very discrete triangular serif that gives the font some extra spice in big size. Mezalia is a one of a kind typeface. Its shapes were strongly influenced by bastarda scripts of high medieval times. Unlike most fonts sharing similar origin, Mezalia is not just another blackletter but a fully functional text typeface, blending medieval poise and character with modern sensibilities. Favarotta was a small settlement on the medieval times. in the Gulf of Castellammare near Palermo, Sicily. Favarotta font is inspired on the style of writing based on Carolingian models, which continued to be used for handwritten liturgical works in Italy. The style show close affinities with the Italian printed books of the period. It combines Roman cursive writing ideas with some of the Celtic innovations in insular writing, including four guide lines, with strokes that flow smoothly from the ascending and descending. Favarotta font family contain five weigh and its corresponding italics. The Italic style are clearly legible and attractively set out, without obvious idiosyncratic tendencies. Payload began as an early concept for Loaded magazine, and here is developed into a clean outline and rough splattery spraycan version. In this font, the upper and lower case characters are subtly different enabling a more realistic appearance to be achieved by ßipping between cases whenever characters occur together in pairs. Ersatz has its vibrant roots in the Mediterranean climate of Spain. Tired of the functional monoline sanserif fonts used throughout Europe from road signage to corporate identity, Richard Dawson and Dave Farey, British type designers who crave color and sunlight, created a style that is refreshing and lively. The basic constructions are simple and attractive, mixing lower case shapes into the capitals - and unique letterforms into the lower case. There's a raunchy feel to Ersatz, soft curves and back kicks, if you listen very carefully you can hear the sharp guitars and the soft tambourine of the Flamenco.

The original design came from Berthold Herold typeface, designed by Hermann Hoffmann during 1913 (Art Nouveau style) in Germany. This project started from flyer printed during 1947 with movable type, the specimen was scanned as a source to development some of the uppercase letterforms. However the most unusual and tricky element from this sample is the leg from the uppercase (R) which is different from the original Herold design, until now I didn’t found where this version originally came from. This font family only contain the bold weight, but there are also a stencil and expanded versions available.

Linotype Irish Text is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. German artist Torsten Weisheit designed this font based on Irish scripts of the 5th century. Characteristic of this style is the mixture of upper case letters in the mostly lower case alphabet and vice versa. The letters look as though written with a broad tipped pen and have triangular serifs, displaying a decorative tendency akin to that of Irish calligraphy. Linotype Irish Text is intended exclusivley for headlines in large point sizes.

»Cristal Text« has nice to read lower case letters. It contains 636 letters per font style and some Open Type features: Different stylistic alternates and different sets of numerals. It is not monospaced: Therefor it stays not true to an underlying grid like it’s bigger brother »Cristal True«. But this offers a better legibility. The basis of this font is a Union-Jack or sixteen-segment display (SISD). I have found myself in the need of a precise and well-made font, that simulates the look of such a LCD display. Also it should offer enough letters and language support for the whole European region as well as different font styles.

A slab serif Mr Palker and grotesque Mr Palkerson build one superfamily together.  These are blank types. In a way even the display ones. Typefaces for newspapers, announcements, cheap advertising and police posters.  Mr Palker and Mr Palkerson will turn every language into a fence. And due to six types of faces one can choose what material should the fence be made from — from Thin steel rods to   the Black stone blocks. In their simplest appearance Mrs P&P are  intended for the solid blank composition in victorian or industrial style. They are quite decent, a bit old-fashioned slab serif and grotesque with closed aperture. All my types have layers. Walker and Palkerson also do. Besides the standard set of symbols, they have 4 add-ons. 1. Alternate glyphs, including unicase ones. 2. Ligatures with A letter. 3. Extra tall small caps. 4. Two-storey ligatures. All this options are intended for the complex composition. The additional letters are rather eccentric as their main function here is to imitate the victorian oddities. Imitate, parody, just not repeat. There are lower-case As and Es in the set in height of small caps and uppercases. They can turn every writing into the unicase.    The lower-case A (as well as uppercase and small caps version of it) has deliberately by my taste grown a ludicrous tail. To compensate it I’ve built all the possible ligatures - ад, ал, ая. There are 35 of this ligatures all together. Take a closer look at the Russian letters D, L, K, Ya from the main set as well as their alternates. The additional glyphs are one more comic than the other — on purpose to imitate (not to repeat!) the victorian set. This sets have lowercase numbers. And small caps numbers as well. What a modern typeface without them. They also have an У-letter with a generously curvy tail. As if before the WWI. The Latin of course has alternates as well. It has letters to make the perfect French sound more like the russian provincial version of it. The tails of Js and Ts can be made a little bit more open — or a little bit closed. My favorite feature here, an invention of a kind - extra tall small caps. It allows to compose logos with the small caped uppercases directly from the keyboard. The small caps of this typefaces are usually much taller than the customary ones. This is the kind of small caps that Palker and Palkerson have. More to that, the strokes’ weight and the letters width are corresponded to the uppercases. Just a ready set for making a logo a la 1913 style. With a unicase, one has to mind! One more trick with the tall small caps is a possibility to make them work like lower uppercases. Their height is just in between of lower- and uppercases. Isn’t it great to have an additional set of uppercase working ponies in stock for the case of emergency. And finally — the trademark of Palkers family, two-storey ligatures. They are made in the height of uppercases and turn every writing into an ornament or a puzzle of a kind, while at the same time making them much shorter. Each face has 90 of them. Mainly those are twins: CC, BB, DD and so on. ll this things are for the unhasty compositing, even for lettering. Which means that for the things which are not there you always should have Command+Option+O and some patience. Also — among the two storey ligatures one also can find some belvedere villas. All my types are glasses from the one kaleidoscope. The P&Ps family was preliminary part of the victorian set, which already has 1 Cents and Clarendorf - optionally one can add Costro, Gordoni, Handy, Guardy, Surplus, Red Ring, Red Square, Babaev to the list. And also Sklad, Odessa, Dreamland, Romb, Platinum - here, at Letterhead’s, every second one is victorian. All together our typefaces can allow one to set advertisement of any kind, even the trickiest one, and compose everything, from the coffee place’s menu to the antiquarian magazine.

My favorite feature here, an invention of a kind - extra tall small caps. It allows to compose logos with the small caped uppercases directly from the keyboard. The small caps of this typefaces are usually much taller than the customary ones. This is the kind of small caps that Palker and Palkerson have. More to that, the strokes’ weight and the letters width are corresponded to the uppercases. Just a ready set for making a logo a la 1913 style. With a unicase, one has to mind! One more trick with the tall small caps is a possibility to make them work like lower uppercases. Their height is just in between of lower- and uppercases. Isn’t it great to have an additional set of uppercase working ponies in stock for the case of emergency. And finally — the trademark of Palkerson family, two-storey ligatures. They are made in the height of uppercases and turn every writing into an ornament or a puzzle of a kind, while at the same time making them much shorter. Each face has 90 of them. Mainly those are twins: CC, BB, DD and so on. ll this things are for the unhasty compositing, even for lettering. Which means that for the things which are not there you always should have Command+Option+O and some patience. Also — among the two storey ligatures one also can find some belvedere villas. All my types are glasses from the one kaleidoscope. The P&Ps family was preliminary part of the victorian set, which already has 21 Cents and Clarendorf - optionally one can add Costro, Gordoni, Handy, Guardy, Surplus, Red Ring, Red Square, Babaev to the list. And also Sklad, Odessa, Dreamland, Romb, Platinum - here, at Letterhead’s, every second one is victorian. All together our typefaces can allow one to set advertisement of any kind, even the trickiest one, and compose everything, from the coffee place’s menu to the antiquarian magazine.

Nobody Home JNL is unusual in nature as it combines two vintage typestyles into one font. Both have been used for home and property identification for decades and still remain popular. Over the years the letters and numbers have been made of cast steel, aluminum, brass and plastic. The alphabet is in a distinctly bold, asymmetrical style, while the numbers almost take on a calligraphic feel. There is just a basic character set - alphabet, numerals and simple punctuation. While the font has been reasonably spaced and kerned, it's best to remember that neither type design was made with digital technology in mind, so it's suggested to adjust your layout manually for optimum results. I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I usually buy fertilised eggs online and place them in my incubator, which says that it is 'fully automatic'. Of course I added that rather random introduction to tell you how I came up with the name for this new font... Fully Automatic is a handmade cartoon font: I used a sharpie pen to draw the glyphs onto rough paper. The result is a wobbly, yet quite clean cartoon font. Fully automatic comes with extensive language support and two sets of alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type.
